Gets given to who can line who's pocket the best and what would stimulate the economy the most to generate tax revenue. So gambling, alcohol.

Has been years since I've played with it, however FP2 gives you some fun options -
WTB: FMIC, EBC, Nistune & possibly extras?
Dose Pipe Sutututu replied to Wazmond's topic in Wanted to Buy
You could use the Nistune to control boost, and control boost vs. ethanol content if you go down that path. And if you wanted dual stage, just hook up a switch to kill the power to the MAC valve, you'll have gate pressure vs. whatever you've dialled in. -
Stock rb25det neo questions

The fastest weekender/track/semi-daily cars at Sydney Motorsport Park are all auto 😀 Meanwhile all the manual guys are too busy doing complex mathematical calculations and deciding on which gear to grab to do fast laps lol -

Yep, there's a drop down and also pipe size to select. However... It never works perfectly as everyone installs the card differently, different pre length of pipe, different pod filters etc. all have a massive affect on it. Is your car manual or auto? If it's a manual, maybe look at a better ECU. If it's an auto, well you don't have many choices that don't involve big money. I used to do heaps of Nistune tuning back in the day, and always really hated the Nistune for NEO ECUs. Just a pain in the anus to get right, never drove right, etc. always bogged on rapid throttle transitions, where as the RB20DET modified for the RB25DET drove like a factory car. -

Bellmouth is better, IWG flapper on highflows, non-OEM CHRA will hit the divider and you'll have other problems to deal with. -

RB26 Speed Governor?

I reckon the car was run in 3rd gear not 4th on the dyno. -
R33 GTST need advice
Dose Pipe Sutututu replied to R33tur's topic in R Series (R30, R31, R32, R33, R34)
Spends money on loom, then finds out OEM ignitor is cactus, spends money on that, then finds OEM coils are cooked. Then goes, ok, time to upgrade to a R35/370Z coil setup. Now left with a barely used new loom, and a barely used new ignitor. Can't sell the latter two for anything to recoup costs. TLDR, just get a R35/370Z coil kit. -

Actually most owners have gotten better fuel economy than what is advertised at 7.4L/100km. @No Crust Racing's missus has one and has seen under 7.0L/100km They might be testing it at a higher cruise speed? no idea. I don't mind it actually, a few things I dislike: fuel economy sucks, fk me terrible overtaking capabilities, no power (Tiguan over takes with ease) However great & zippy around town No door auto locking, seems not available for AU market (odd) Rear seat middle arm rest/drink holder actually is the back rest When you move that down, you expose the cargo area Passenger mirror doesn't auto dip when Reverse is engaged Audio doesn't lower when Reverse is engaged (good for me, I can't concentrate with music when parking) Door unlocking strategy is weird, European cars nail this

Not that anyone gives a shit (maybe @Duncan might get horny over these stats). Nissan X-Trail 2024 ST-L fuel economy: 8.9L / 100km (according to the trip computer) going from Sydney to Jervis Bay, and Jervis Bay to Berry & back home. Nearly smashed a whole tank. Pretty terrible, considering they advertise it to do 7.4 ~ 7.8L/100km. Missed the mark by 14% Anyhow, wife is liking the CVT quite a bit & the fat tyres vs. the DSG & 20s on the Tiguan. VW Australia still have not given me an ETA on the shit box, however have extended the loan car by another 2x weeks lol.

R33 GTST need advice

Delete the ignitor crap, then go R35 / 370Z coils and a new loom. -
Identifying a diff R34 GTT
Dose Pipe Sutututu replied to LjB123's topic in Suspension, braking, tyres and drivetrain
Have driven 2x S15s with the Nismo Pro (adjustable initial torque, both on low) and 1x S15 with an older style Nismo diff without option to adjust (old Intima / trak-life S15) and there's a big difference. The latter would behave like my KAAZ diff. -
Identifying a diff R34 GTT
Dose Pipe Sutututu replied to LjB123's topic in Suspension, braking, tyres and drivetrain
If it's a car destined to do 99% street duties with 1% track duties, then don't get a KAAZ diff centre. They are BRUTAL... I have one. I had to get it modified by a diff shop to make it a bit more gentle for the odd times it gets driven around on the street. -
RB26 Speed Governor?
Dose Pipe Sutututu replied to Kip's topic in R Series (R30, R31, R32, R33, R34)
Can be done, @Toshi does them (no idea if he's still around). He was flashing R33 RB25DET ECUs back in the day. -

What gear was it run in? Looks like the car may have been run in 3rd. -
VW Tiguan Updates: Service manager no ETA on mechatronic Europcar car lease has been extended for the Nissan X-Trail Nissan X-Trail Updates: Fking hell it drinks, so I filled up 49L (was in reserve) and have done 354 km 13.84L / 100KM Someone overinflated the tyres, I've dropped down to 2.5bar all round I can now drive over roundabouts, pretty cool... no need to worry about smashing 20" wheels My wife loves the CVT transmission, said no bs rolling around/clunks and derping off the line at round abouts Said it just is so direct R33 Updates: Just renewed my full comp insurance, fkers jacked it up by $100, so now it's $1290 p/a comprehensive Car is still fked I might donate more money to the car gods soon: new clutch boost doc heater line redo dis dat Anyone seen my lost lost biological billionaire parents? I am done with my life lessons of being broke and needing to work all the time. Also I want a G81 M3 Competition wagon.

Unfortunately noone outside of metro cities will employ me. I do fake work, just smash buttons on a computer and get angry at people in meetings.
-
Tiguan does really well on the highway, with a full car (4 adults, a few slabs of beer), AC on, I've averaged 7L/100km flat going to Jervis Bay.
-
Man this Nissan shit box drinks hard, it's averaging like 14L/100km around town where as the VW shit box would do high 11L/100km call it flat 12L/100km. Wife is starting to prefer the X Trail more because it doesn't have that DSG derp, kicks and clunks at low speed.

I'm not a fan, not enough turbine. Hence I went with a GTX3576R
