  1. Nissan at heart! Does your car have the ECU cooler scoop thing? my mate's one just died recently because ECU melted... the French are funny.
  2. As stated before, all SAU members have varying degrees of retardation. Even my wife has asked why I didn't just buy a fast factory car instead of trying to make my shit box go fast. We are special.
  3. Lol....man I was literally in this mess not long ago. Ended up returning the Dayco one and getting an used OEM one. And GKtech fans do no work well, I've ripped 2x of them out of S15s with cooling issues and went back to OEM.
  4. Maybe those BMWs were trying to pass the slow GT-Rs but couldn't do so safely. Perspective 😂
  5. Very nice, more euro less JDM 😅 Dose approves
  6. What camera mount you want on my car? Should be good footage of you and @SiR_RB racing down the straights.
  7. There will be a point in time our JDM shit boxes are a straight swap for a M car. Another option is just redraw from your mortgage and make it happen (this might lead to a divorce too, this is not financial advice) lol.
  8. Please don't put Benshit pads in, have respect for your car, life and money. Lol.. @soviet_merlin
  9. Skids not loading 😅 Looking good, OEM+ is best.
  10. And lap of the shit box, conveniently no GPS data on the VIRB for half the night. But you can see the speedo go past 180km/h lolol
  11. My ultimate goal is 1m50s flat on street tyres. More seat time, maybe soften the front anti roll bar to reduce the car washing out on high speed corners and maybe brake a touch later. Only my 2nd time on SMSP as well, much more practise is needed.
  12. It's alright, good to use the car instead of looking at it. Will upload my PB lap soon, just trying to see why I can't get any of the telemetry from the VIRB. Probs dropped it a few too many times lol.
  13. Never ending Skyline money vortex 😂 Then once everything is done, you'll start snapping rear drive shafts.
  14. Raced, drove car home, no trailer and still have power steering. Not bhed.
  15. Thanks mate, I might try hitting it with engine enamel black. Might make blend in a bit more. Test and Learn tonight, pray to all the 33 gods out there, and the Skyline gods nothing breaks or fails.
  16. Made a temporary, maybe temporary permanent heatshield for the ABS pump, loom wiring. Should stop things melting on the circuit after a few laps. It's a bit ugly, but better than a pile of molten wiring at the track. If money permits, might use those Real Thermal guys and wrap the gate, housing and dump.
  17. Added spacers to clear the AC belt and had do remove the spring washers on the bolt side to allow it to clear the PS belt. Fun times, not. Piece of shit car, always spannering the lump of shit before events. There's about 8mm of clearance to the fan blade, camera angle makes it look much closer. Will trade for a F80 LCI M3 if anyone is keen?
  18. It seems they didn't design this for RB25 motors with AC, or thoroughly test fitment on all combinations and permutations. Then again their target market are heavies.
  19. So yesterday, giving the car an once over before tomorrow night's event I noticed something rather alarming. The Ross PS idler actually fouls the AC compressor belt. You can see the scoring on the lower belt. I tried using the RB26 spacer included in the kit but it ends up only supporting 2/3s of the belt and the other 1/3 overhangs. Either approach is going to be good for tomorrow night so I ended up using a 4mm or so washer and packing out the bracket to move the idler forward. Seems clear everything now, however the idler bracket bolts are now really close to the PS belt itself. (Didn't take photos of this, finished up late night and just wanted to go to sleep). I've contacted Ross Performance and hoping they are able to machine down the RB26 spacer, here's hoping they reply at all lol... I'll take a photo of what I've done tonight when I'm back home.
