  1. A bit off topic, in RWD (especially seen in slammed S15s at the track using factory torsen/helical diffs) take a corner hard enough and it dog legs and you can't put power down. But yeah for spirited street use, roll racing, drag racing as intended by the OP, you'll probably never encounter those scenarios where one front wheel is off the ground.
  2. There's a photo of his GTS-t lifting the front LHS wheel as he was going predominantly straight. It was more so a tongue in cheek comment as most R32 owners, GTS-t or GT-R would probably never or rarely would be in that situation.
  3. No no no... You two are racing, I'm recording in the camera car, ie the slow R33 lol.
  4. Here's some real world track data from my car. Runs a Plazmaman 76mm Pro Series, plenty of boost and used more than 10s at a time. This was on the 2nd last lap of SMSP GP Circuit. Plenty of heat soak, water/oil temps show. Ambient temp was about 25 to 30°C I suspect.
  5. Naiiceeeeee... Ze Germans have a few funny features in their cars. Launching a SUV, brings many giggles.
  6. And also just remember because it's a helical/torsen diff, if you ever do a Brad Sheriff and lift one of your front wheels in your GT-R the diff will then behave like an open diff (probability of you lifting a front wheel is low I suspect, given the usage).
  7. You've got this car worked out well! Sure quite a bit to change/service those cars, keeping you busy haha. Hmm I've used it on the SQ5 one generation up from your one, which also uses the ZF box. Not sure if this relates to yours, read a few posts down. https://www.myaudiq5.com/threads/sq5-launch-control.3089/
  8. You want rolling anti lag, not "2-step" whatever people call it. Get a Link or Haltech Elite 2500.
  9. Complexity not really worth the effort, especially if you're on E85. That's why noone has done it. Also most of these RBs are straight line warriors so will have ample of air being fed into the FMIC to bring down the charged temps.
  10. No it doesn't, it's purely a secondary rev limiter to help you get off the line. You can dial in -ve ignition however it uses a fuel cut so you don't get the bang bang you're after. Do you actually need the flames and bangs? is it purely for show? OR are you actually trying to build boost to get off the line?
  11. I'll be there in the R33 shit box, will be on the cruise sessions & also cutting laps on the timed session the GP Circuit
  12. You can set TP Load limits on Nistune so when you exceed a load threshold your car will cut power. Nistune is not bad, it is limited however if you know what you're doing you can: Set engine load limits brappy idle if that's your thing launch control full flex boost control Of course getting a Link would be miles ahead, however if you know what you're doing Nstune itself is quite powerful. Just these "some guys" always bag out poorly setup Nistunes and thus giving it a bad name.
  13. Did you try adding more fuel to the cranking table when warm? With Nistune you're unable to set injector dwell vs voltage. It's just a fixed dwell so when you're cranking you might be under injecting fuel when your battery voltage drops.
  14. Controller triggers the pump, AEM kits you can dial in what boost pressure it starts to spray at. So theoretically you could only make it kick in at say 1.5bar of boost only (as an example, please DYOR lol). https://www.aemelectronics.com/products/water-methanol-injection-systems/water-methanol-injection-kit-for-forced-induction-gasoline-engines
  15. Hot, looking good mate! Looks like you'll make it to All Jap Day
  16. But let's say you're purely using the WMI for additional cooling and primarily for cleaning, so if it did clog up you'll just end up with a dirty intake like how it is right now.
  17. Don't even need to spray much to get the benefits, the alcohol component will keep things clean! Could even skip the catch can.
  18. LOL... I wonder if you could add in WMI injection purely to keep IATs down and also clean shit.
  19. Hey @hypergear in future, do you think you could also log EMAP data? would be good data to have. RPM vs IMAP vs EMAP would be porno.
  20. You would assume a crank collar would have been fitted during the build process.
  21. haha nice, some faith mine will still hold up for a few more track days. It grinds 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th if I try and shift over 7k rpm, hence you see my track videos I'm fully granny shifting LOL
