  1. If your name is Koukla, Silver GTS-t or Jimbo2000.
  2. Hint: It's listed under her name
  3. Track closes at about 4pm... You'll get back to King Georges Rd at about 6pm at the speed limit.
  4. Duncan, can you get a price for 245/40ZR18 RS-V04s please? The dry compound please! :)
  5. Oh Hmmm... might be too much trouble to organise shipping interstate... Might make them prohibitively expensive too, considering the price of new RE55s...
  6. Yeah, there's not much on there at all really.
  7. Bump, so I don't have to dig through 20 pages to find it next time
  8. Depends on the answers to my questions... GTRs are tempremental with different diameter tyres front and rear (it upsets the ATTESA) so I want to know exactly what these tyres have been through... I'll be needing good photos too. Oh, and where the hell is Glen Waverley???
  9. This is normal response to such an event on SAU. We consider ourselves at the mature end of car enthusiasts, and most of us know to save such speeds for the race track. Skylines Australia does not condone breaking the law on public roads. [/end official press release]
  10. Damo, why don't you make a new thread in the FAQ section with his contact details, and a write-up on exactly what he did for you, and how much it cost? Would be an excellent resource to look at in the future!
  11. REVS uses the Australian Chassis Number, not the Japanese one. You're using the right numbers for a REVS check.
  12. COSTS INVOLVED IN A REBUILD: --------------------------------------------------------------------- Remove and Replace engine - $1500 Labour to strip down and rebuild motor - $1500-2000 Head service - $600 Miscellaneous gaskets, oils, etc etc - $500 --------------------------------------------------------------------- Forged pistons - $900 -> $3000 It should cost anywhere from about $4000 upwards to do a proper engine rebuild, not including any upgraded parts like forged pistons, rod bolts, etc etc... Add those to the rebuild cost.
  13. Where are you located? Will you seperate? How many trackdays have the tyres done? How many road kms? pics? These things may help your quest to sell them
  14. Fair enough... Good luck then!
  15. I guess you didn't read the FAQ on buying a Skyline then The two most important points you missed: You should never have to tell yourself: "Fingers crossed i get it and it turns out ok" I can't believe the engine was blowing smoke, and you didn't get a compresssion test done on it, and bought it anyway.... :uhh: :uhh:
  16. So what's this secret car of Troy's?
  17. HAHAHAHAHA... Team Wang Racing > Team Riceworx???
  18. pics please: andrewho.com]email@[nospam]andrewho.com remove "[nospam]"
  19. Yeah... extra airflow to the top of the intercooler that's usually hidden by the front bumper
  20. It's just a dumb internet saying I reckon it looks SWEET without the wing... Makes the car look extremely classy and sleek. My vote is to ditch the wing, get the holes welded up and repaint the bootlid :P
  21. Someone who usually needs to be booked a few weeks in advance
  22. I can do it in a weekend if I need to It's the booking in for run-in tune and then for final tuning that worries me.
