  1. some lady back into a 3 lane road while he was comin down it at 70... radiator panel took the brunt of it, and the right fender. bonnet was pushed up. Insurance co wrote it off, I bought it back, fixed it up at Driftline, welded in a new rad panel, replaced all the broken parts, re-engineered and now back on the road.
  2. yeah I know... "Rollin on Tweeeens bitches" doesn't quite have the same effect tho. Well technically I bought it for my dad (hence the auto trans), then I got it back off him after he wrote it off. So I guess its my car now.
  3. So I pimped my old man's car cos I was embarassed to be seen in it. Oh snap! Godfather rims baby!. 18x8.5" in the front, 18x9.5" at the back. Hoping to stretch some 215/35/18's in the front and 225/40/18's in the back. I might hit up Option1Garage for some Cum-ho's. Has anyone had any issues fitting this size on a cef in terms of rubbing and stuffs? Also just bought a Grace bodykit from Erin @ JDM Garage up here in brissy. Needs a bit of work and some paint before it goes on.
  4. http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/ma...ttachments.html Might make it easier to find and reuse your attachments. It is a bit inefficient, but meh... the bandwith usage really has never been an issue. As the forums grow more and more I can see how it'd start becoming an issue tho.
  5. if its not a pic, then you should be able to copy the link in the original post and then paste it in the new post. if it is a pic, then I have a trick I use where you copy the URL of the thumbnail for the attachment, then paste that URL in the new post. Then you remove the "_thumb" part in the URL before you post. This puts the full image in the post, saves you having to reupload.
  6. bit hard to drive in drive out of Knox when the car's in Brissy
  7. sucks that PS3 is out as the 40GB PS3 is on sale at Big W for $398.
  8. lol @ misspelling Australia. Wow, you've got enough Skyline owners to warrant a forum out in the US? I thought most of you guys were on NICO or Zilvia. We can chuck the link up when we redesign the site. Shit's all over the place atm.
  9. spotted a black R34 sedan heading towards indroopilly thru toowong today at about 5ish.
  10. unfortunately I think VICRoads only have an R32 GTR, R32 GTS and R32 GTSt's specs. So those are the only things you can go by.. We ran into the same brick wall when we were trying to comply an RB20E 4 door R32 that we imported... because VICRoads didn't ahve any data on them, it had to be re-engineered or modded to specs that they did have (ie remove RB20E and add RB20DE). Worst case scenario go get a dyno readout and weight slip from an automotive engineer.
  11. w000t! another Melbournian moving up to QLD.. I moved up here in april last year for work. Shame you're not comin any sooner, I'm actually lookin for a housemate to share a place with starting 1st of march.
  12. fixed. i expect sexual favours from ya mum in return shane. and tell her to leave the lights off on her way out this time.
  13. yo mum's a mothersite. (yes I'm inferring that she blows)

  15. think i still have a pair of stag ones... not sure, they'd be in melbourne (I'm in brissy now). If not, and you can wait a couple of weeks I can ship em down with my monthly mags from japan.

  18. LMFAOROFLcopterWTFBBQ!!! did you seriously just suggest putting Rota's on a race car? bahhahaha!
  19. CA18DET O2 sensor part number is 22690-36F00 or B2690-12P01 RB20DET (R32 RB20DET's anyway, ceffies and R31's etc had the Series 1 RB20 which used a different O2 sensor) use 22690-73L11. I'd hazard a guess that SR20DET's use the same one, but that doesn't really help you out in the US cos you don't get many of those either. You can ask the guys at Kudos if they'll ship to the US http://www.kudosmotorsports.com/catalog/pr...;products_id=42
  20. Longchamp XR4's I think they were called... them hachi-rusto fanboys will cream their jocks every time you drive past. Sold the set off this car for $2500 something from memory, they just kept upping the price.
  21. varies from state to state. In VIC you'd need an engineers cert, and their biggest requirement is that you have upgraded brakes and handling to compensate for the extra power. eg: RB20DET brakes, spring rates in suspension, bigger brake boosters etc.
  22. can one put these kits in by themselves with the right tools etc, or is it a delicate matter that needs the skillful hands of a auto trans surgeon?
  23. Honest Motors is based in Hong Kong, so I'd say these ads were for HK/Macau. Plus they're RHD ceffies, so not phillipines. There was one in Cantonese as well (makes sense being a HK ad).
  24. one of the guys I know in brissy has a panda charm he hangs off his tow hook. Think his girlfriend gave it to him or something. but yeah, hanging badges off the towhook = FAIL. Besides, note that all those cars in those pics are american. They probably all have learner driver stickers on em somewhere too
