how much pwer is it making all up? by those mods, your probly making enough power that 15kw could be put down to different time/different day/different atmospheric conditions/slightly diff fuel (dodgy batch) im assuming its on the same dyno?

your past experience is because of the turbo, a better turbo would spool much earlier and give better results.

what was your A:F ratio and timing in the top end on each? your profile says your in adelaide but you say the car ran the nurburgring (or is that a copy cat in SA called nuerburgring?) what fuel was is tuned on and was it constantly getting the same fuel? or have you jumped countries and changed fuel without the tune to suit? is it possible all 3 cars got a dodgy batch of fuel from the same servo/area? did you tune the cars on dyno or road? i wouldnt focus too heavily on it always being cylender 6, as i personally think its just motor design. just get rid of the problem

the main gripe with the 4wd system when converting to rwd is gearbox/transfer case/front diff/sump and possibly some wiring, all that shit would be removed anyway for the LS1, so why wouldnt you save some money and get the cheap shit GT4 as a base? who gets the carton anyway?

autobarn sell adaptors for like $15. my mates got the model after that, and from what i can see, it looks like the AFM is molded into the air box lid, i cant see how you would get a pod on there? note the above may not actually be ture, only had a quick glance at it and never really bothered after that

yeah i dunno, first thing when i saw GT30 it was just in the back of my head that its sorta good for just up to 300, i remember hearing a few people say that, but it was a while ago ^not saying it was the limit, but more to step up to a bigger turbo if your chasin 300+

if anything that turbo will be too small IMO, it will come on early, and i think you will struggle to hit 300, most that i've seen seem to top out before then, although a few have made it, they are buried in controversy questioning dyno operators and such. do it anyway

looks rough lol. photos and certain lighting tend to show up alot of flaws that may not be seen otherwise. give it a light coat of primer all over, then give it another coat. make sure the surface is perfect before you spray though, ie: send till you can sand no more and clean it with prepsol. all round, a pretty good effort, even though its only a small job most people wouldnt be game to try it. good stuff

you could turn the factory system into a twin sequential system but for all the effort and f*cking around, just add a supercharger in there. twin charging>sequential turbo
