  2. u get singled out coz ur post count is so low ^ everyone has to deal with it at some point, that said, cant even really see enough of the car? only looks a bit dirty under the bonnet with the original piping on, and the cuts in the front bar. even still, drift cops ftw!
  3. i've seen a couple of VQ's in R32's, but wouldnt bother with the 25det, go for at least a 30, or 35 motor or go all out on a VH41/5
  4. wet compression test to confirm its piston related, then start looking to what has caused it
  5. as long as it wasnt damaged in the fire it should be fine. studs im not sure about, but i dont think they are those 'stretch' type so i would say that you can use them too. just ring up cometic and ARP, get a definitive answer from someone who'll know 100%

  7. what will they do to you if they know you keep changing your exhaust? like u just put a small one on to pass, then put 3" back on, and keep doing that, if they know you are, what will they do to you?
  8. downgrade as in power/flow? never heard of em on RB20's but only ever heard good things from his work on other cars
  9. i think its more the fact is an RB20, sure you might see gains but are they really worth the expense of a plazamaman plenum? not 20 bashing here, just my opinion
  10. got firing order right? like wiring to the coils? spark for every cylender? injectors plugs are in right order (im assuming batch fire two cylenders at a time?) CAS is set right? IACV? everything is plugged in? AFM is known to be good? probly not much help but its a start what model KE is it? pics? Paul: if it was auto and not seeing park, it shouldnt crank at all?
  11. nope drove passed two marked cars that were both looking over an integra, (i was in my banger prelude daily) then as i was going passed one of em came out after me (i've got a rather loud, obnoxius sort of exhaust), without his lights on, i was turning off the highway (princes) onto clayton road, soon as i went round, lights came on. i got done for not having a muffler (it fell off a couple of weeks ago, i cbf putting it back on). he put a note on it saying i couldnt drive it till it was on, which i've done now, only took like 30 secs. so now just gotta go vicroads and get it cleared and im sweet not too bothered by it, i was expecting an EPA coz i went through a booze bus last week, they didnt pick me up on the exhaust so as i was driving out, once i got passed the last cop, held it flat till like 7000rpm then slammed second just for the f*ck of it, every single one of em turned around and stared but none bothered to do anything? i was surprised coz without the muffler on it does that 'duck-thats-just-ripped-a-massive-line-of-lui-screaming-into-a megaphone' thing.... WWWAAAAAAAAAAAAAA

  15. you can try playing with your boost controller to bring on boost just a tad later, although i have really never heard of compressor surge from such relatively small (in the scheme of things) turbos. BOV's should effect it if its happening under load. maybe use this as an excuse to build a stroker could be tuning but dont really see how, its just forcing too much air in when your motor can't swallow it obviously, you might be able to tune around it but doesnt seem like the right way to do it to me. has the Fcon been tuned in aus at all, or is it ex-japan? might be an idea to throw the d jetro in anyway

  17. dunno where you get headgaskets from as being a problem ^ maybe your htinking of the 7m-gte SZ-R had options like big brakes etc, just narrowed the gap between the TT and NA, while still retaining the NA engine. NA is like 168kw (or something near that), TT is 206kw as is every other jap car 'officially' common problems, arent any really, sometimes the hatch will rattle a bit as will a couple of other things (its an old car now). you'll probly find its more wear and tear rather than problems as such
  18. where are you taking the reading from also? make sure its after the cooler, try and make sure your getting 17psi in the plenum. A:F ratio is consistent and safe?
  19. dot know much about the course, but as for the car, pretty sure they mod suspension and brakes so grip levels etc are up there (but not quite) V8 supercar standard, but power is relatively stock. yes i believe you get to go hard out for a bit, dunno how much of it though

  22. uhhh its more likelythe owners got 3.9 gears in a commdore then it is hes got a supra making 560rwkw at ~1bar.... you can get any gears in any car, its not a big deal, i wouldnt base your answer off that
