Make: Honda Model: Prelude Milage: 160,000km Transmission: manual Colour: red Location: south eastern suburbs RWC supplied? no Currently registered? yes, till apr 09 Price: 2000 Contact: PM me on here, im on all the time Comments / Modifications: hey guys, got too many acrs sitting around atm so decided this is one that has to go 88 model (popup lights), 5 speed, ~160,000km's (on the dash, doubt its accurate), however engine and box feel pretty good. has electric sunroof, cd player with decent infinity (albeit old) splits on the parcel shelf. mount em in the doors would be nice but i cbf. most thigns are electric and work (loose wire behind dash, works intermitently, kicking it helps sometimes) has cruise control but doesnt work at this point (pretty sure its just a fuse, i'll try and fix it soon). has a new radiator and a bit of new wiring. paint/body is rough (common with this model for paint to fade). has no aircon compressor, all the lines etc are there though (common problem on this model for it to sieze). needs a rear strut and an alignment. has its problems but could be a pretty decent car with a few minor things. it has a full sick sports exhuast (with leak, but i can fix the leak), hektik rimz, been lowered (i think) and it starts almost every day gets well over 500km to a tank, i regulary see 550 without the light coming on, and i dont baby the car either. car comes with 11 months reg (april 09) , get your own roady though, dont know what it needs, i might put it in just to see one day, but meh $2k ono, will post pics if theres any interest (dont have pics right now). south eastern suburbs cheers, Ben

yeah where would i look for something like that? dont really know of any truck wreckers, but im assuming thats all i'd need to find? with LPG bottles, you should be able to get a fitting from somewhere, maybe just butcher one up? semi-on-topic... i got a couple of fittings around to fill BBQ bottles with LPG (dont tell me it cant be done, im sick of hearing it, BBQ has been rejetted to suit), one of em even looks like a factory bit (ie not butchered). are automotive LPG bottles the same as BBQ ones? i cant think of any other possible place that it would come from?

whats the go with fitting more storage space, ie a gas tank? surely you could buy screw in adapters to make it all work without doing anything dodgy/dangerous?
-
no, thats ameture, this is how real men do it: (turbos are there, just cant see em, you can see a bit of the gates tho)

flow + tank capacity. mainly a decent free-air delivery rate, at a reasonable price (ie i'm a cheap motherf*cker) i could run hose between the tanks and then a reg, but im just worried about running such high pressure through hose, i prefer to have low pressure through the hoses only... probly more a mental thing than anything, im sure you can get decent high pressure hose, but it'd still make me nervous lol

hey guys, just saw on another forum that those cheapies are down to $77 (the ones from supercheap auto). now what i want to know, is there any way to run both in parralel to one air line. maybe have each reg on the compressor, run hose from each comp to an external reg, then a single hose from that to tools/spray gun etc. now what i need to know, does such a thing exist, the two in, one out reg? i would still like to leave to two regs on the compressor becaause i dont want to rely on any hose to hold full pressure from the tank, would like to have reg on the tank, maybe set them both 10psi above the 3rd, in line reg? any idea on current draw also (hard tof ind date on the cheapies)? i've heard there can be issues with tripping switches if they both turn on at once, not sucha big issue for me, just worried about overall current draw? cheers, Ben

yeah, it was called the skyline26, only RB26DE ever produced AFAIK, very VERY limited umbers too. i've seen at least one auto GTR, a white R32 drag car. isnt your car is it nizmount?
-
the 10 sec one, are u thinking of the pink one? that ones in sydney scathing, very rarely will you ever see turbs in series, i've only ever seen it once or twice, what your referring to is sequential, its a differt thing
-
pics are blurry but from what i can see looks pretty sweet, a damn sight better than what i can do anyway

whenst the last time you calibrated the sensor? how old is the sensor? how much are you changing the fuel map (how much did you take out, as a percentage of the original nuber)? did you take a bit out, then test it, and repeat, or just take heaps out and now its having that problem? did you at least save the previous map it had before you started messing with it?
-
as above, more info on this. very keen to know bore and stroke, aswell as rod/stroke ratio (seems to be a hot topic in this thread )
-
finally we can agree on something. anyway, if you guys are referring to the magazine article when you say it needs to be tuned, the car already had the extra bits, it was tuned with the PFC to make the 306kw, then they pulled the parts off and ran it again, dont know what was done tuning wise before replacing with stock parts

haha, this is actually building a bit of suspense.... what are you gonna give em?

non turbo RB30 gearbox is same as RB20DET box, so shouldnt have too much trouble getting it in, same with mounts, should be able to bolt straight up with the right mix/match combo, but then you have to wire it etc. dont f*ck around with all that, just buy a nice car you can legally drive. if you can afford to buy a GTST and do a motor swap, you can afford a non turbo supra

weapon of a car, but hardly an MX5, its a full custom chassis with a fibreglass shell that looks like an MX5. have you seen the first prototype they did? the 13B one? that looks like a bit of fun too
-
yep, but valve springs are really soft, upgrade before you mate those two together

what are you actually using to monitor your A:F ratio?

very random, and as for midrange power on the GTR, they were very close, almost a trace of eachother on the graph just read it again, car as it was for the second run: HKS GTSS turbos - as before factory exhaust manifolds - were tomei items factory cams - were tomei poncams factory water pump - was an electric item sard fuel pump and 700cc injectors - as before doesnt seem right that the graphs are so close with a change of cams, but it sorta makes sense to me, it moves the power band higher where the torque is dropping off because everything else is designed to come in earlier, so it sorta balances out? thats how it works in my head anyway lol and no, i cbf scanning it. next time u walk past a news agency just pick up a copy of HPI and go to page 56
