had you already dropped the rest of the coolant out?

see now i understand all that rowan, but my main gripe with PD is that they came out saying "the game is 90% complete" and "the game is ready to be released any time now" then a month later they turn around and say "the game is only 65% complete". had they not kept feeding us lies about how the game was nearly done and ready to come out then i wouldn't be so annoyed. and considering that it apparently took them 3 or 4 years to get to 65%, if you do the maths then we still have a few years wait until that last 35% done. and someone said earlier in this thread some shit about it taken them a few months to do up each new car. well frankly i don't give a shit if the game comes out and doesn't have some extra concept car in it. at the rate they are going they will never get the game out because each time they finish 1 concept car there will have been another car show with a new concept car that they decide should be in the game from standard rather than be downloadable.

or look at getting a nistune. cheaper (about half the cost) than a pfc and will give similar results.

ok i have no idea about the thing pictured, but as for the water, that isn't that uncommon. the reason being that water runs down the window and the seal at the bottom of the window isn't always water tight so some will get past and then run down the inside of the door. i think there are holes at the bottom of the door that will allow the water out.

ok, well if it is only when you lift of then if could be 1 of a few things. your cat could be gone, or if you have an atmo bov then that will be the cause. either way, nothing really to worry about

i have a feeling that the nissan fast program tells you the original gearbox type, so you could post the numbers on here and someone could look it up for you

if they have a tilt tray or a car trailer they could.....

the s15 turbo will take 15psi on everyday use. plenty of people do it. that said, the higher the boost the sooner it is likely to blow, but that said, plenty of people have had the turbo let go at much less pressure. as for the backfiring, what sort of backfiring, and when does it do it. is it just a popping when you are boosting it and not an actual big bang, or is it when you have lifted off and are slowing down?

if it was a professional job then they will take the car no matter what you do. haven't you seen gone in 60 seconds? LOL

How Do You Tell If The Car Has Done Big Kms?
mad082 replied to GTR-N1's topic in General Automotive Discussion
in QLD you only get the kms recorded everytime the car has a rwc done, which is only if you let the rego run out or sell the car. so if you own the car for 5 years and buy it when the car has 50,000kms and then do another 150,000kms over those 5 years, you could put a speedo in that says 100,000kms and knock 100,000kms of what the car has actually done and no-one would think twice if you said it was only your weekend toy and not your daily driver. hell you could put a 80,000km odometer in and people still wouldn't be too suss about it. my missus has had her car for 6 years, and i had it for a year before that and we have put less than 30,000kms on it in those 7 years. -
if you keep redlining it in second gear you will eventually break something too.

my guess is that there is water down around the spark plugs/coil packs and it is making them arc out. if you have the rocker valley cover still on, pull it off and i bet you will find a heap of water in there. if you have a compressor use it to blow it out. otherwise remove the coils and use some tissues to soak it up. just make sure you leave your spark plugs in. you don't want the water getting into the cylinders. once you have dried it all out, put the coils back in and leave the valley cover off and go for a drive and see what it does.

i've seen a few 33's with towbars.

or just make sure you have good insurance, that way you can at least get another car

depends on how many moneys are involved. microcrap may have driven a truck load of moneys to their door

that wouldn't actually suprise me at all if that was the reason. they probably thought "alright lads, we've made a real cockup here taking so long and a hell of a lot of people who were waiting for it have gotten sick of waiting and bought forza and an xbox. and as they say, if you can't beat them, join them." oh wait, they are japanese aren't they, so they would've said "arright rads, we've made a rearr cockup here taking so rong and a herr of a rot of peopre who were waiting for it have gotten sick of waiting and bought forza and an xbox. and as they say, if you can't beat them, join them."

how much exhaust gas do you think an engine is flowing cruising along at 3000rpm and maybe 10% throttle when compared to 7000rpm and 100% throttle? a hell of a lot less, that's for sure. that is why they can use a shared header system. the exhaust gas from all cylinders at light throttle is probably less than from 1 cylinder at 100% throttle.

may i ask why you want to upgrade them? is the old pump failing? if not then don't bother. neither a bigger fuel pump nor injectors will give you a power increase. unless you have a hell of a lot of work done (such as having a turbo fitted) then there is no need as you won't even be close to maxing out the stock ones.

if it is brighter at the top than the bottom it may have water in the light. or it may have had water in there in the past and the reflector may have bubbled
-
maybe the original owner didn't tick the fog light option box
-
pretty sure it's just the bulb. it's been a while since i saw my mates s2 33 at night but i'm pretty sure his are white. but remember that it is now illegal to drive with your fog lights on if it isn't either foggy or raining (or anytime where there is reduced visibility). so you can't just drive round at night with them on to look cool.

unless you go to the track i think you should leave the limiter on there. if you are hitting the speed limiter on public streets please sell you car and go hand your licence in at your local transport department because you don't deserve to have one. as for mods and what power you are chasing, can i just ask why 300kw? the reason i say that is the 300kw is getting towards the limit of what you can do without opening the engine up and spending some big money. my suggestion would be to just aim for the mid 200kw level. that way you still have reliability as well as something that is still very drivable on a daily basis. but if you are planning on doing the mods so you can beat commodores off from the traffic lights, do as i said above and hand your licence in.

it is common for there to be a bit of oil there. the pipe from the turbo to the AFM has a few lines that lead into them. 1 being the breather hose from the rocker cover, the other from the BOV. the oil there could just be a build up of oil over time from the engine breather hose or could be from the bov line. in the past a turbo may have had the front oil seal let go and this would result in some oil making its way through the bov. if you are concerned about it, clean out the pipe and then check it in a month or 2 and see what it is like. that will give you an indication of whether it is just residue from a prevvious occurance or something to be worried about.
-
may still be an issue with the AFM. if possible, borrow someone elses AFM to try it out and see what it does.

if it sparked then it may have blown a fuse when it did so. also make sure that the harness if plugged in properly. i have had a similar issue with a skyline before where it simply came down to the harness not being in properly. the car started, turned it off, went to start it again and it wouldn't start. stuffed around for hours trying to diagnose the problem. then i pushed on the harness a bit and the car started. then if i bumped it the car would stall
