  1. lol.. true, but nor is there a local car industry
  2. Would be much like the other I would think. It is the ECU that limits power by rpm, not so much via pedal position when under 3000rpm. Reflash or standalone ECU is pretty much the only way if after low rpm power for the VQ25det... ... or change to a cable throttle and all the extras like Scotty has
  3. There are not, it is just that double sided tape/glue stuff that holds them on. By the way, did you notice the "TEPS inside" stocker on the rear window of that CE28 equipped M35 above? If you wanna see what they do with M35's, click on my sig. Since this is the 5th M35 I have seen with this sticker akes you wonder why they didn't want to do the intakes when they had the chance, aye Craig?
  4. ...And I'd do it again too!
  5. Mate, you are a lost cause
  6. Nope. As Iain said, the owner just swapped an infinity badge for the Nissan one on a PM35 RX (the grill is the normal stock Nissan item) There is an "M35" Infinity in the US... but it is a rebadged Nissan Fuga I believe. Funky headlights. Don't think they look better than stock PM35 ones though, but maybe I am biased (incidentally, if you looks at the PM35 projectors at night it actually looks like it has 3 bulbs in there instead of one)
  7. Love the wheel and brake combo Some big bucks spent there....
  8. Who said they were lying? Perhaps they just don't have the skills/ingenuity to make a high flowing quiet exhaust Oh, if you are (vaguely) interested, the Legalis on my M35 rates at 88dB
  9. Could that be why they are introducing the FT86 then? To delete the "Altezza" and sell it as the Lexus ISxxx
  10. Probably been said, but CDWOW have a release date of the 24th August.... not that "release" dates seem to mean much to Polyphony
  11. lol, well then I guess it ain't a Supercar. But just for your reference, here it is
  12. Silver PV35 in Mt Eliza on Wednesday.... anyone on here?
  13. Spotted a yellow R34 converted Stagea yesterday in Frankston... I presume it was you Ben? btw... that combo sticks out like dogs balls in traffic
  14. Another thing to keep in mind is that Stagea speedos read high... usually by 7-10% Not sure how the factory measure their 0-100kph times, but a 0-110 speedo reading time would give a more accurate 0-100 real world time... if that makes sense
  15. Sounds like a good excuse for an aftermarket suspension kit, no? Sorry Anna, never heard it with any other M35's I have driven so not much (more like "any") help.
  16. Maybe he will if/when something actually eventuates.
  17. Depends what your aspirations are for the car. If you are happy with the Legnum's speed I would say stick with that. It is a far more inspiring car than an S1. If, however, you want more, then more and are prepared to spend the cash on mods for it, I would take the Stag. Easier to mod and it comes in AWD and manual so you know that once you get the power up you will have more fun and won't have the trans issue that Legnum's suffer
  18. fark, glad that's been cleared up
  19. WGN = WaGoN? Can't help ya Hugh, that VIN doesn't display on my FAST no matter what combination I put in for the model number section of the VIN... are those numbers right?... maybe I am just entering it incorrectly
  20. Sounds like you need to get into a Noble M600. Would they be classed as a Supercar?
  21. I don't believe that Mine's do a mail order service. You need to have your car there for them to tune the VX Rom unfortunately.... Hell, you need to take your car to them if you wish to buy their beautiful Z33 Throttle Body
  22. mmm.... lovely seats. Love the Stagea emblem too!
  23. Nah, the 2005+ Autech Axis S was also referred to as the 350S for some reason and will be the only factory 6-speed Stagea that can be imported to Australia as far as I know. Here is a pic of one that went through Auction a few months ago
  24. So I am not the only one that thinks that a C34 can be confused for a Camry wagon!!!!
  25. So we installed another of these phenolic runner spacers on my mates stock M35, unfortunately he does not frequent this forum but this is what he had to say (cut and pasted from an email in which I asked him what difference, if any, he has noticed with the addition of the spacer). Went to the airport and back last week, then to Leongatha (waved to your house on the way past) on good friday and up to Corowa (NSW border) for the weekend.... 10.4 l/100km.. That is the lowest I have ever had, even lower than when I collected the car and drove back from Sydney like a wuss, because I had no numberplates.. 688 kms range... Could easily have done over 700 as refuel was only 72 litres... As stated, car holds 5th gear much better and there is off boost performance.. Very happy thanks!! And engine cover is happily fitted with just the rear nuts holding it on.. will try to get some longer studs for the front sorted out. Thanks again. So it seems that the recurring theme from this mod is greater off-boost performance, more torque and the car holds 5th much better while cruising If interested, please either post in this thread or PM either Andy65b or Jetwreck.
