Being a "no frills" RS, there are no curtain airbags. RS's only came with curtain airbags if the "safety" dealer option was selected at purchase.

Use a quality oil. If 30 seems too thin, move up to 40. I have had the Nissan 7.5W30 in mine, but the engine was noticeably quieter when I switched to 10W40 (Motul 300v). As an aside, my wife's Magna's tappets were bloody loud last service. Put the Nulon tappet additive through and changed the oil to their 10W40 synthetic. Quite as a mouse now. Maybe give it a shot? * For VQ owners - don't go thicker than a 40. I had a 50 in at one stage which was too thick (seemed to require a fair bit of effort to rev). Changed that oil out after 800kms *

Yes. The piping is crazy though. For an idea, have a look at the APS Z33 twin turbo kit.

The GT-RS fits nicely size-wise, but as Scotty said, a custom manifold is required.. not to mention the oil/water lines. It will be a bit shorter than the M24N as well, so the stock dump will be no good - although I would safely assume that if you are putting a GT-RS in, you would also have a full exhaust

L.O.V.E. it. Would look ace on my M35 if it had an R35 front end conversion. These IS an imperfection. 2nd pic... follow the line from the wheel arch to the boot. It is on the corner. Still looks shit hot!

Has a design been agreed upon yet, Danny? I believe that HDi have bought out Sabre, yes? I see on their WEBSITE that they have a WRX FMIC that has a 800 x 210 x 100mm intercooler included. Could be reasonable size for us if it includes the tanks. Also, intercooler out of the RX7 kit would be an ideal size (if that is core size and the inlet/outlets are in the right position for us) - 660 x 220 x 100mm with 76mm inlet/outlet.

Are you in reverse, "D" or a gear (tiptronic mode)? I ask because mine used to do it (2 years ago) when reversing very slowly. Changed to a good quality transmission oil and all was fine. Just started doing it again recently... but I know I was low on trans oil as I was on my way to get some more. Maybe check/change your transmission oil for starters?

che? The VQ25det powered M35's were never a low emissions vehicle. The PM35 was with the VQ35de and the VQ25dd, but never the turbo. Pretty sure my exhaust manifold doesn't contain a couple of cats... but I feel the need to have another look now

If my memory serves me correctly, you've only got 2 cats Nick. Dump & front pipe (as it should be from factory). Mine was the oddball exhaust, so don't go by that (dump, 3 or 4 in front pipe)
