  1. Headlight level? On the M35's the headlights have 4 (or five??) setting for beam hight. Perhaps this switch is yours? Or maybe it is is engage/disengage your fog lights from your headlights (ie "I" is for headlights only, "II" is for headlights and foggies).
  2. PM Sent with the details Will (didn't see your thread until now. Sorry) I have been told that Synergy to actually have pretty good stock. That Axis kit is not an option from factory for an ARX (as you will see in the PM). It has been available for a considerable amount time (over a year I think) and $27k is too high IMO. If I recall correctly, it has Tein suspension, but other than that and the Axis kit, it looks pretty stock to me... although I am confused... Where did the aftermarket screen go? It was in the rear interior pic, but not in the drivers seat pic. hmmm.
  3. Feel free to PM me the number as I don't have a direct line to the "bat phone"
  4. ... but I still don't see how anyone can confuse a C34 with any model Volvo Maybe the rear end is similar to the late 90's Toyota Camry in Australia, but not a Volvo.... my M35 on the other hand
  5. Quick questions for your Chris. Would this setup work in an M35 RS? I only ask as I have the single DIN Clarion unit with 3 gauge setup as opposed to the integrated unit. Would everything hook up or would some re-wiring/splicing be in order?
  6. Nah. 'tis all in the design! Have a look at the HDi website and compare the GT core with the Monster Bar & Plate core. I would imagine that these are the two cores that are in the premium and non-premium kits. If you could not be stuffed surfing their site, the attachment below is a screen dump from their site... check the pressure loss comparison.
  7. Looks very pretty Danny. So is that a 600x300x76 core? hmm, would like a larger thero fan than that, how thick is the fan you used? Is the Premium using their GT tube and fin core and the non-Premium using their Bar and Plate core? There is only that much room because the OE thero fan has been replaced. No chance of a core that size otherwise.
  8. What are you talking about Steve? Australian LPG Warehouse have falcodore as well as Xtrail LiLPG kits available... from what they tell me. I did ask about a custom kit being made up for M35's an was told ~$5k and would have to wait until later in the year due to time being taken up with mass market kit development and installs. Dunno how the VQ25det will handle the LiLPG though... (will have to seriously look into it when we move house next year)
  9. Just paste the URL into Googe translate and change the language to Japanese and English.
  10. Have you tried this? the ad for it was at the bottom of this very thread!
  11. Aren't the US and JAP navi systems different though? I thought that the Japan system is a Xanavi... not sure about the US system, but maybe something over here uses the same type of navi? Toyota maybe??
  12. No need to be narky Chris, I think he was asking about the steps involved in doing the install.
  13. Hi Peter. Congrats on the purchase! While I have not seen the inside of your car, it is a very nice example if I go by what some of the NSW guys tell me Fair step up from a Jazz. Nearly as large a step as my mate made (clapped out 1992 Magna 4cyl to a fairly modified NM35). anyway, to answer 2 of your questions 1. What is your VIN? Quite a few of us have FAST and can run your VIN through no worries. 2. No idea. Sorry. 3. Suppose it depends on where you live. Do you have a heap of hills near you? They can generally cause poor reception... but generally no, the M35 has very good radio reception (aftermarket or OEM) By the way, picking up a PA11-NIS from US ebay and installing it was one of the best (and cheapest) things I have done for my car. Plays the iPod perfectly
  14. If anyone is looking at this for the front end... I have a cheaper one for sale HERE
  15. Hmm, 2.75... interesing. Glad to hear it will use their GT tube and fin core Do you know if the piping be from the turbo, from the hard pipe (which is attached to the turbo) or from the passenger side bend (after the "s" shaped section)? Also, will it go to the throttle body or will have require a certain somebody's 76mm throttle body pipe (no plugs here Scotty)? Sorry for all the questions Danny... but always inquisitive
  16. Sounds like the best setup for we "Mexican's" Don't think is was well known then... but I am sure SAS will be made aware of it.
  17. Agreed... IF you live in Sydney... and IF you are not modding after the remap! (unless back and forth interstate trips sound enjoyable)
  18. You'll see it first mate, don't worry.
  19. Can you wait until the end of the month/start of next month Scotty? Have something in the works... ay Iain?
  20. Exactly. Which is what I am saying about a lack of choice, thus the need for *ahem* tougher regulations on the trading practices of oil companies. But since our Government suck the cock's of the oil companies, I guess we have to deal with it. I will have a lower income tax with the fuel tax the way it is thanks... Now, the GST component being a tax of a tax could be something to piss and moan about. Nice point on the Super contributions (ahh, real world logic ).
  21. Yes they are companies clearly out to make money (why else would you be in business?), but their ethics are poor and being that petrol is currently a necessity for most people, "Fair Play" has to come into their dealings. As someone who drinks a fair bit of water and uses a fair bit of fuel, I never buy bottled water (rip off) as I have an under bench filter on the tap home so I just take it from the mains supply. Hell I could also just drink it straight from the tap, get it free at most resturants or drink rainwater caught in a tank, thus I have a choice. Do you have a choice with petrol? No chance. Sure, you can choose which "supplier" you buy from, but since they all charge the same price and clearly have the same business ethics, there really is no choice. The only "choice" with regards to fuel is to switch to LPG... Actually, ULP was $1.70 ($1.80 for 98) in VIC, so while I get where you are coming from with the crude oil price drop, refining it does not cost less and must be factored into the price of fuel. So I would say that $1.15 for ULP is pretty reasonable. EDIT: LOL. Mad082 beat me to it.
  22. How did the trial fit go? Can you see if the guys can use their GT core (but smaller) in the kit? That's interesting... when I called up "Sabre" from the phone number on their own website, HDi picked up the call.
  23. There are quite a few companies in Japan that do remaps/custom maps. Yes KS seem to be the cheapest, but there is also Nismo, TEPS and "G-Zone" that spring to mind immediately although I cannot recall the others at this moment. They ALL get rid of the 25% throttle <2800rpm among other things. Suggestion #1 - Get a decent tuner for the Haltech. I have heard that JEM and Autotech are pretty good. Do CRD tune Haltech's? Suggestion #2 - If none of these guys can fix your tune... rip the f**kin' thing out and get either an eManage (road trip down here for tune) or Fcon V and get it tuned in Sydney. If you decide to go with #2, I would look into the FCON first, although both Cihan (eTuner) and Trent (Status Tuning) are damn good tuners and probably worth the 8hr drive.
  24. Jeez. Good thing that BMW ad was banned before any "hoonish behaviour" came from it
