  1. AQN *** Black r34 GTT driving in peak hour today down eastern valley way. ASP *** 260 rs (I think) Stagea on corner of Regent and George Streets today. Front mount + exhaust looked awesome! bout 12:30pm. APU *** Maroon r33 with exhaust and rims at UTS at about 1pm.
  2. If they're like other nissans it's pretty obvious when you take the headlight assembly out. They're basically just a screw on a stalk poking out the back. Phillips head from memory.
  3. I voted yellow but damn that pic of the blue stagea looks nice.. I've always liked yellow with black bonnets and black or tint rims, red calipers, normal (non smoked) lights. On the other hand blue with lots of (big) silver glitter and black or red pearl mmhmm!! Either way nice freakin car
  4. It looks vertex-esque. Nice setup, I want. heh heh O_o
  5. They need to turn off automatically for pits? lol that's stupid I do it manually anyway cos my XW never used to turn off either way and never used to lock into place when indicating right
  6. If you recently fitted a BOV and this wasn't happening before and it happens when you back off (not use the clutch) then yes. If it's actually the clutch then it might be coincidental but to do with that
  7. Bugger, sorry to hear it. If you seperate and GOR33 falls through the for gauges I'd buy them with the senders straight away. Also would be interested in the muffler itself if not bent.
  8. GTST interesting point you make. Maybe I'm wrong and it is tightened BOV. Still ... damndest reverberation I've ever heard so until it's confirmed to me I'm going to think it's the BOV with the possibility of it being too tight If I cap it it'd be interesting to see what you make of it.
  9. I have mine saying 3" exhaust all the way through to barrel shaped muffler with 4.5" diameter tip. So they can get some detail.
  10. Point taken - I stand corrected as not paying attention to the detail of what you said, my bad sorry I don't know about anyone else but when I was looking for the wup wup wup BOV I wasn't referring to the fluttering caused by reverberation (BOV too tight or no BOV)... I am quite certain there is a BOV that makes the noise I'm referring to It didn't help that the sound when typed can be interpreted as reverberation when the BOV is too tight or there is no BOV. I might try to capture it from the DVD when I can be bothered to find some capture tools
  11. Nice NSX, and nice OHS promo girl in the brown 'clothing'. :aroused: Good to see the Mu's stand getting some drift cars in there. Was hoping to see you 2GU. I had a good laugh at the GTiR with the bazooka scene blowing up cop cars in front of a bank. I guess the owner has thug life issues..... on the way home I thought to myself maybe it's happened hehe Girl in brown :aroused:
  12. Damn that sucks. Although in QLD you do have engineers certs - they give you "TIC" plates (transport industry consultants). Ehm - is it not loud? if it isn't I'd fight it - especially if they didn't test it.
  13. Nice second kit there Alex. I hope no more wonder get made in Aus Wouldn't mind some side skirts to match tho
  14. There's no reason to think he is silly. He said private road, have the courtesy to assume he meant a private road. If you think otherwise you're welcome to think so but it doesn't help this club or modified car owners in general for you to post it up like you have.
  15. I have a s15 solenoid and it's NC. If it isn't then by some strange coincidence it works exactly like the instructions say it will for a NC
  16. foznice. the wup wup wup I'm describing is NOT reverberation. Which, incidentally is the air bouncing through your cooler pipes. As for the s14/s15 re-circ valve not being good enough for higher boost I have no idea where this idea comes from. I have run 1.2 1.3 bar with a s15 stockie and it's FINE.
  17. heh heh cracking website. cheers mate
  18. Wow thanks for the history lesson. That sounds about right about the car definition - but yeah the grand tourer car is something like a XW GT
  19. You have to seal it, otherwise you'll lose air the AFM has already 'counted'. Is there enough of that pipe to use a rubber stopper ? My catch can vent is put back into the intake pipe but it was done so I could take it out and vent it to atmosphere should I need to. They gave me a rubber plug, which is essentially the same sort of thing as you'd find on a cheap table leg. This would stay on with a hose clamp. Not sure if that would work for you cos I can't picture how your bov looks like but it might give you an idea
  20. DHC outside autosalon on Saturday
  21. Tried jaycar? They seem to have a lotta little things there. Otherwise -maybe- try an old computer for the 3 plug connector that is used to plug onto the motherboard from one of the things on the front of the computer, looks like the pins would be about right but you might need to file it down.
  22. Uhm. Don't dispair. Alot have it worse than you. http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/sh...ead.php?t=55349
