Hi Chris, just wondering if you've got the rear boot floor trim out of the boot yet? I might be looking to get a few more things from you on Sunday so I'll let you know then.

It all comes down to the fact that there's so much red tape in government bodies, that people can do whatever they like and will never be sacked. Core hours of 10 to 3pm, countless coffee breaks, flexi time, tea money, you name it they've got it. And I know all this cause my crazy ex is a government employee!

Do you still have the driver side mirror and does it still fold in/out?

Anyone else that may have had this problem? Or if you somehow have a copy of the wiring diagram that you can post up, that'll be great.

I did the same thing a couple of weeks ago and one thing that I found is that it's better to have the bottom foundation board in two pieces, so that it's easier to take apart when you need to get to the spare tyre. Other than that, it's definitely worth spending an hour of your time to have something solid in the boot.

Hey mate are you talking about the whole driver side window switch and the surrounding black panel? If you are I have a spare lying around that I was wanting to sell on the cheap anyway. It's for a series 2, all buttons are working (only the driver auto down click a little floppy) and the panel is slightly chipped. If you're interested, pm me!

Another place that you might want to check is if there are any of the rubber seal that goes around the driver door. Might not be it, but I had the same problem with my gf's car (Barina) and it ended up being the seal that goes around the door wasn't sealed up properly on the bottom, as it was involved in a minor accident before she bought the car.

HI All, Ok I'm at a loss on what's going on with my horn and fog lamp. I've searched and read all the forum threads and am still lost. The clock spring is ok, the fuse is not blown, there is power in the stalk, the horn itself is not blown, the relay for both the horn and the fog lamp is clicking over... The only thing that I can pinpoint right now is that there doesn't seem to be any power at either the horn side or the fog lamp side. Could there be either something loose in between or something causing high impedance? Anyone else have any ideas or have experienced something similar? Cheers
