nice work mate I'm surprised they are cool with it. but that is a great result. it means the likelyhood of hassles has just reduced to practically nothing. providing all attendees behave themselves of course... I will remind everyone that trying to set of your BOVS, or gate, or generally just trying to fang in the carpark is not considered cool by anyone. yes we all know how loud and manly your car sounds in an underground carpark, but keep the speed below 10kmh and the rpm below 2500 and everyone is a winner.

lol, there is a clinic down here in sydney that can cure rusty shaft problems. don't know what that says about all the pillow biters around here, but if Benno is having a problem I'm sure they can fix it. oh man, so much innuendo. all over the shaft. maybe I should have called the poll a pole?

Who Bought The Damaged R33 Gtr At Pickles Auction On Wednesday?
Beer Baron replied to drifter 33's topic in New South Wales
I will come visit you jason, but don't expect me to put out on the first visit. -
lol, I'll have a drink with fisi if he gets booted. hell I'll even let him pay. heiki is a lucky bastard if he gets the mac drive.
-
I wouldn't go anywhere near them. they are remanufactered, modified injectors. you can buy some nicer sard/nismo/whatever injectors brand new for not much more dough.

Beer Baron replied to Simon-S14's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
a pipe spanner, or 'flared nut spanner' should be able to get that done. -
hopefully I will be after about 9:30pm sydney time.

well no doubt webber would be a good fit at maclaren too. but there is a worse option. gonzo goes to RBR and webber gets the boot! lol, now that would almost definitely leave webber without a seat at all, and quite possibly the end of his F1 career. maclaren may have another little louise prodigy up their sleeve?! you are right though, I can't see them wanting DC back. no way. I would like to see webber at maclaren, but the fact that gonzo is sniffing around RBR tells me they may be on the up. as he seems to have a nose for the teams that are moving up in the order just before they make it happen. so it wont be all bad for webber if he does stay at RBR (which seems most likely at this point). I mean, at least he has a seat!! at this rate it's not impossible that gonzo will end up with another year at maclaren as I think he may have left his run a bit late to get a new drive with a decent team.

tbh, I reckon if you call and say "we have 50 skylines coming to meet here on friday" they will most likely say: "we don't give you permission to use our carpark as a meeting place" if they say that, and you guys turn up anyway they would quite possibly have cause to charge with trespass. it's a tough situation. I guess if you call and ask them, and they say no then at least you will know in advance and can organise another spot.

the shaft will never be any good if it's been near snowmans hangar.... oh, and poll is running now

so who will get it done? I would like to see monobrow take it out. he deserves a drink I reckon. The craziest part of tassie was when mark king and whatshisface came together at turn 1 of the first production car race on sunday. nasty! that dude just harpooned king from way back. I guess he is sick of getting wasted off the line by the 4WDs but come on! he was goooone a good 50 meters before the corner, then launched over the ripple strip and nicely punted king off.

I really like the black widow BW 1100-3. 3 point immobiliser, all black wiring, insurance approved and most importantly for me, they have nice small remotes that have awesome range and mine has lasted 3 years without needing to change the remote battery. Strathfield car radios was having a special on them the other day. $500 installed which is crazy cheap. last time I bought one the alarm alone cost more than that.

nice pics sean. what did you think of the red one?

Mint 1996 S2 Vspec R33 Gtr - With Log Books
Beer Baron replied to Beer Baron's topic in For Sale (Private Whole cars only)
yes it is! and now it's sold I hope the new owner gets years of enjoyment out of it. :) -
pfft lowenbrau... even the name sounds gay... the arsel is where it's at. $3.50 a pint. and if you ask for a jager bomb or an apple martini they are likely to laugh you out of the joint. and their big samoan bouncer knows how to bounce.
-
I hope any of you lady boys that actually show up know how to drink pints. none of these pussy bloody schooners, or midis or 'jager bombs' or banana dacquris or whatever else it is they serve you fags at your regular drinking establishments on oxford st.

R34 Gtr Vspec Ii Nur - Engine Question
Beer Baron replied to adznight's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
well I can confirm the badge is V Spec II Nur, but the rest of the car is anyone's guess. just get the chassis number and look it up in fast. i mean engine covers (or even whole engine) can easily be changed. but a NUR engine looks like this 100% -
exactly Kris! and I get your point donutdavid. I have a shitload of mods on my car. shitloads I tell you. easily counted in the 10s of thousands, but I list every mod on my policy, and I have agreed value. and when you are negotiating that value treat it as though you are selling the car. So I have to ask myself, is my payout amount a figure I would accept if I were selling the car today? if the answer is no then you need to negotiate a higher insured amount. I'm not saying be reckless with how and where you park etc. but I refuse to let car stealing cock smokers dictate how I live my life. If I want to take the GTR down to the shops then I will. no point owning the GTR if I can't drive it when and where I want to.
-
there is pretty much only 1 thing you need. insurance for an appropriate value. on top of that by all means have a decent alarm and immobiliser. anything else just takes up your time and effort. I don't want to live my life fcking around because people steal cars. If I want to go to the shopping centre, I will part wherever I want to park. if the car gets stolen sure it's sad, but you ring the police, then ring your insurer and wait for either the car or the cheque to turn up. and yes I have been hit by car theft, and yes it was insured and I got a full payout for pretty much exactly the value of the car.

that's a lot of stretch, but a 195/60 14 on a 14X10 is one thing, but getting say a low profile 17 in that width (if they even make them) onto a 10 is a recipe for disaster.
