And for the people that DON'T have a Facebook account ?

Oh they are quite an improvement and work very very good when you combine them with gripy semis, shitty road tyres will see your abs going skits unless you improve the rear brakes, even if its just slotted rotors and good pads to help even out the brake bias I was about to do this upgrade when I found a Nismo 355mm brake upgrade, I have fitted the front without doing anything to the rear and with Hankook RS3s on the street hard braking sees the ABS kicking in, the Nismo instructions says this will happen if you don't upgrade the rear with at least better pads I am looking into an upgrade for the rear using a factory Nissan 350 x 20mm disc with the factory GTR brembo

Troy is saying the caliper is putting more pressure on the pads due to their bigger piston surface area and in urn are starting to lockup the front brakes which is activating the ABS

Does Compressor Size Radically Effect Lag/ Performance?
XKLABA replied to Bennis's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
I'm not saying engine air flow doesn't effect the turbo response, I know better then most it does, I'm just saying that isn't what he asked I would probable build engines for a living but it doesn't pay enough , so hobby it is The 26/30 I built MYSELF pumped out 623hp at ALL 4 using HKS GT-RSs ( -10s )and push a 1661kg car plus 100+kgs for me to 10.88 at 132.23mph, not bad for a excavator operator/truck driver -
Does Compressor Size Radically Effect Lag/ Performance?
XKLABA replied to Bennis's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
I'm sure the question at the top of the topic states Does Compressor Size Radically Effect Lag/Performance " And the last line in the second paragraph says " but what difference will a different compressor size make between two turbos where the turbine is the same." Which I take as he wants info about the compressor side of the turbo, I didn't read anywhere him asking about engine air flow Lith is right, it makes a sizeable difference in both lag and performance, the 67mm will spool faster but the 76mm will make more power In my view it is to do with leverage and inertia and even though the weight difference between the two is not a great deal you are trying to change their rpm from say about 20,000rpm to upwards of 100,000rpm ( depending on boost level ) whilst trying to pump pressurised air, so naturally the smaller lighter wheel will spin up faster and the turbine wheel has better leverage against the outlet side of the wheel where the bigger wheel has more volume allowing it to pump more air volume Hope that helps Lith, its not his fault he is trying to drink vintage grange and read/reply to forum posts while riding his pushy on a busy back road -

The interesting, I've never heard of that before -

That sounds like an intake gasket blowing, I have had two Apexi PFCs one of which for 10 years and they don't just drop a tune like that that I have ever experinced or heard of When I say check the tune, they would have to have a car with exactly the same mods setup exactly the same way so they can run it up on the dyno What exhaust are you looking for, I have an bolton 80mm cat back blitz or apexi, can not remember ATM, I took of my 34 I'm selling cheap Also have a chat to unigroup about their Blackbox or insight with his new EmTron, both of which I would consider better value for money -
Hahahaha, lol, that's gold

What ECU was it, they might have a plug that will give it power that they can down load the tune, they just won't be able to check it How did you lose the tune ? -
Ok so back the Heathcote road 100km limit, single lane, double white line and no asphalt passed the left white line, and a farkin pushy doing 25kmh, now in this case I'm going to use the fact they are classified as a vehicle, I am NOT allow to overtake a vehicle over double white lines so what now I have to sit on 25kmh in a 100kmh zone for the next 6km till we get to over taking lanes yeah, and you still wonder why this topic pisses us off Yep my day is only getting interrupted for 10secs, right

Yeah sorry about that the homo bit was bit far, just pissed off talking to people that want to push their one sided views and not lesson to anyone else's Please tell me what part of that post, other then the first point, isn't fact
-
1, good for you, you found another BS article most likely written by some Lycra clad homo with the same BS views you seen to have, which also has no credible facts attached 2, so they are already recognised as "vehicles" then why do they not get treated as which and have to pay for the privilege of using the road like every other vehicle and that is the problem isn't it, they can use the roads but can't be held accountable for their actions, so that is a right that should be taken away and by making them regoed and licensed that right becomes removable 3, no has yet said that isn't a right we're not arguing that we're just saying that maybe it shouldn't be and you should pay for the right to use the road like every other vehicle that uses the roads 4, its YOUR attitude of entitlement that needs to change, I'll tell you now you have changed the way I view push bike rides, I no longer want to be cautious and curtious, what I want to do is contact mythbusters and get that boxing glove attached to the pneumatic ram and attach it between the cab and deck of my truck 5, why is it your vehicles are the only ones on the road that doesn't have any PPE requirements like Zeb said, you should have to wear a real helmut as a minimum as well as the brakes and tyres should have to be checked annually as well as warning and indicator lighting if you get to use the public roads then you should have to follow the same rules as everyone else
-
You took the words right of my mouth, tis a great idea though
-
It's probably less then 10%, beside the point, like you said, the roads here are not wide enough and are already over loaded with cars, there simple isn't enough room to put dedicated pushy lanes on the roads, I do like the idea of making footpaths wider and having them half foot traffic and half pushies and that also gets them a safer distance from the big bad car drivers The problem with sydney and why things that work overseas but not here is everything is to far spead out and its not a 10-15 minute pushy ride to get somewhere, so only the dedicated bike riders ride bikes to get around and even them have cars for longer trips inside sydney Aswell as that the number of pushy riders per population is a lot lower here then in those other countries so it doesn't justify the cost of setting it up for a hand full of people when the majority of people simple just won't use it 60kmh is a good idea, I was going to say 50kmh, that why the difference in speed between cars and bikes isn't significant so collisions aren't so damaging

I would more wonder how big is England square meter wise verse its population and how does that comparing to NSW England has 407 people per square Km, NSW has 9.12 people per square Km and NSW is more then 5 times the size I seen it to many times where some dumb fark thinks " hey it worked over there lets do it here " only to have it fail miserably, I've said this once already in this thread but clearly some people don't get it, Australia is enique and what works in other parts of the world will NOT work here
-
Nah he got fined cause he was on an import pushy
-
I'm not saying we should ban pushies from roads altogether, but if they can't realise some roads are just unsafe for them due to what ever reason then maybe the Gov should step in and ban them from certain roads I mean if you walked into a pub and saw Mike Tyson getting rawdy after having few would you then walk up to him and tell him he's a soft cock pansy and a disgrace to the human race, or walk up to a group of outlaw bikes at a servo and tell them their Harley's are shit boxes, I know I wouldn't even though I have the legal right to do so, so why would you put yourself on a certain road that puts you at risk of getting hit by a car And the drivers attitude needs to change is the biggest joke on here, especially when your attitude is " we have the right and don't care how it effects you ", change that to " you know what, their are to many useless drivers on the road and this road is poor designed for me to pass safely so I'll go another way cause I value my life to much" and when you do this what do you reckon will happen to the pushy death toll Common sense goes a long way, it just seem these pushy riders aren't capable of it Your rights AREN'T GOING TO HELP YOU WHEN YOUR DEAD

No, how would the computer get power ? -
From reading the views and attitudes of the bike riders on here I say this If you ride along any road ( on the road) colour yellow in the UBD then you should be regoed and have a bike license, they have had the privledge of using the roads for free for long enough and should fall under all the same road laws of a motor bike, including obstruction of traffic, as well as the same lighting systems as my motorbike so they can be seen from a lot further away giving people like the opportunity to see them far enough away to be able to safely slow down and pass them I keep hearing about drivers changed their attitudes for bike safety but how about bike riders be proactive in helping us see and recognise them far enough away to react and plan for a safe pass When you have a car travelling and 80-100kmph coming up on a bike doing 25-30kmph they come up fairly quickly, but that is obviously to hard to understand for some, or realise the reality of the situation which is some roads are just down right unsafe for pushies and motorvehicles to share at NO FAULT of the drivers and bike riders being the most at risk and the minority should steer clear of them No matter where the rego fees go, we all pay them for the privledge to use the roads so why should bike riders be allowed to use them for free The difference between trucks and pushies is trucks HAVE to be where they are as the truck itself is the work where pushy riders have many options for alternatives from safer roads to public transport to a car or motor bike It is also very obvious that the pushy riders are very one sided and have no reasoning or willingness to see it from both side and also care not for anyone but themselves

That is the dumbest thing I have read yet, I'll tell you want if I see a surf board rider riding his surf board on the Hawksbury river during the bride to bridge race I'll be say to yell abuse at him
-
No lets just forget the real cause if the problem and lay blame somewhere else cause its never ever the bike riders fault They don't want to hear it; because that would be common sense and we can't have any of that
-
They run it a a loss, there is a difference
-
Hey, I resemble they remark, oh no wait mine is made of alloy, carry on
-
Not to mention the abuse I copped because my truck isn't a race car that can just hightail it out of there and all from a push bike rider
-
Just because something works in another country does not mean it will work here, Australia is to spread out for it, in the major city yeah probably which is what is said a few pages back, bikes trams and work vehicles only Full loaded truck going up a hill and having to sart from 30kmph, yes it was about 10mins not including the time spent waiting to get around him, Given it was on an uphill grade and my truck is half a tonne off its limit and I had to start from 30kmph, yes about ten minutes not including time spent waiting for a gap to get past him, just because he doesn't have any where important to be doesn't everyone else doesn't This is like banging my head against the wall, you are just like the smokers when they banned them from smoking in public areas, you don't give a fark how you effect other people as long as you can do what you like fark everyone else and there is no reasoning its your way or get farked, there are plenty ways of commuting if you can't drive and there plenty ways you can train and plenty of roads you can ride on but you guys still want to ride on roads that aren't big enough for you to do so safely with motor vehicles and then its our fault your an inconsiderate peace of shit, pick your roads carefully and the death toll of pushy riders will drop dramatically
