  1. Yeah I bought the flywheel when I pulled the box out for a rebuild. Seems to rev a bit nicer and havent really noticed any downfalls. Think the cooling channels in the middle do their job as well. I wish I'd taken photos of the clutch when I pulled it out, was quite impressed with how it had held up. ended up being just under $500 all up with throwout bearing and express post Best bet is to ring NPC and talk to them about your needs. They sell a standard button twin plate and a cushion button twin plate. One of them should suit your needs. But give them a call and chat to them, pretty helpful and will tell you exactly what they can do for you
  2. Like a bit of wrinkle paint hey? lol nice throttle body to
  3. Got a question..... Does anyone use lightroom for their photos? And is it better/worse/about the same as photoshop elememts? I've read some good things about lightroom being a bit better for processing photos and is a bit simplier than photoshop but not real sure if I would get any benefit out of it
  4. I quite like 34's in yellow get the wallet out Sean and just do it Get the impression that this is really well looked after as well, has only been lightly modded. Would be a good one
  5. Nice! Been so sick of gearbox illustrations not working lol. Needed to sort some stuff out with the clutch slave yesterday and it would have been handy
  6. Was that the price off nissan? Got a part number?
  7. There is a skylines australia app you know?
  8. Its getting there. Just putting it to a driveable state in order to move it so more work can be done
  9. Having fun tidying up vac lines and wiring >_>
  10. Sucks for me, doing 7on 7off out of town. Can't stay up to watch races, or cant watch them when I'm on nightshift. Then have to wait till wednesday when I get back home while avoiding facebook etc so one of the F1 pages or one of my friends doesnt ruin it on there. It really is shit hanging out to watch it lol, but really is one of those first world problems.... Couldnt find much on any launch dates. Did find something that said Mclaren were announcing their new title sponser on the 2nd of December but no news on that either. Hopefully no more chrome cars!
  11. They were originally going to re-sleeve as well but said the bore didnt end up being that bad. was just shy of $50, noone seemed to stock a new one. Was about to try nissan but dare say it would have been $100 plus I don't think a re-sleeve would have cost much more, said it was going to be stainless re-sleeve so should last longer, but I'm happy as with the result. Like I said, looks like a brand new one after they sand blasted and re-kitted it Have a funny feeling it might drive again tomorrow
  12. Thats not cool at all ^^ Horrible to think he could have been saved For me, for sure the saddest celebrity death I can remember. Watching that 'Mines' video sums it up for me. He seemed like he was just a regular car loving guy, that just so happened to get into movies, and never really changed. Def taken way to early R.I.P Paul Walker
  13. Really? I dont go there that often. And I always forget to use my racq card anyway lol. Ended up getting my slave honed and re-sealed by Better Brakes. They had it done in about an hour as well. Looks all shiny and new now Works as well which is a plus
  14. After a new clutch cylinder for my car. (P/N: 30620-21U23) Going to try Brakemart, Repco and Bursons, but just putting this up in case these fail and anyone has one lying around Its a 3/4 Nabco slave, believe they might be the same as R32 ones, but not 100% sure Hopefully should be able to source a new one anyway
  15. I was told by NPC, 1000km with no hard launches. Basically try and keep heat out of the clutch If you have their lightweight flywheel it helps as well because of the cooling ports in the middle.
  16. +1 seem super excessive for a 25T
  17. So When do we start seeing cars, who will be the first to unveil their 2014 machine? I dare say they will be keeping them under wraps as long as possible seen as there are yet another lot of major rule changes. Think I'll go searching for launch dates now
  18. First of all, what is wrong with the standard hoses for the booster? Secondly, why do you want to get rid of the AAC?
  19. Just out of curiosity. Does the above version have all the gearbox illustrations for R33 gtst? My files dont have this for my car, they are just blank pages that say something about not available If they work I'll use the above link and swap out my a1.a2 etc files
  20. I've never quite been able to work it out, but I'm a big fan of shots like this. Nice Playing with new HDR software with some photos I took one morning, had abandoned after I used the photoshop HDR merge, but turned out great with the new software Stitched a Pano together and ended up with this. Im happy with it for a first go, Safe to say the original photos werent quite there and photoshop showed this, much happier with this result. Going to go out and play with some night time HDR I think: Pano Final by 89CAL, on Flickr
  21. I thought the Techedge could output an analog signal to corrospond with AFR in a stoich ratio. Although I may be thinking of another brand of wideband.......
  22. Actually this is a good point. If the map sensor is on the same line as the boost gauge it may cause an issue
  23. Yeah but MAP sensor will still read manifold pressure. If there is a drop in manifold pressure, the map sensor will react to it. Or should do anyway. You could chuck a wideband on to see if there is a change in AFR when it happens though. I highly doubt it would be dropping MAP to a point where it would cause an issue but stranger things have happened.
