  1. There for whatever you can wire to them....... You could hook your door locks up to them if you really wanted
  2. Will try and organize a cruise to townsville late This year anyway. Rob told me that Rob (see what I did there) won't be in townsville (or isn't in Townsville now) but I'm not sure what dates these are...... Obviously lol :S
  3. MOMO Race This is where I got mine from, seemed a bit sus cause it was so cheap, but mines genuine and in good condition That 'Nissan' Wheel looks like a MOMO race with a big Nissan horn button from another steering wheel stuck onto it. Not nice at all. If you want something like that then you should just buy one of the Nissan horn buttons off ebay and replace the MOMO horn button with that. Would look alot nicer
  4. Nah I think I had the same issue when i replaced my belt. Sounded like the belt was rubbing and spent about 3 hours trying to work out what the problem was. Found if I didn't quite do the middle bolt (and maybe the two lower ones as well) up all the way the noise wasn't so bad. Changed my timing cover for te carbon fibre one not long ago after running with the new belt for about a year and a half and the belt is still perfect. Having said that, it could be the belt in his case lol
  5. Be good if it turns up and is the genuine thing. I bought mine off MVP motorsports in the states and they were prettyaverage with customer service. Think it was 2 months between sending the first email about it to actually receiving it
  6. I had the same issue. Buy a carbon fibre timing cover made my noise go away lol Otherwise check the back of your timing cover for the rubber/silicon seal that runs around the outside (also goes around the middle hole) to see if its broken etc as this would stop the vibration that would possibly be making the noise you are describing
  7. was wondering why there wasnt a whole bunch of people saying to search. Even back then it was a repetative topic but lol
  8. Hmmm I've never really noticed any extra noise. Its not rediculous anyway. If I had to say anything I'd say its a bit noisey under low revs high load (say in 4th gear at 30kmh) but other then that I dont find it to bad. I got a brand new boot to go directly on the gearbox (as these always seem to be stuffed) and then ditched the lower portion of the rubber boot that sits in your car because my shifter was hitting it, I'm pretty sure I have an SR20 manual shifter but I'm not sure if its just that slight bit different or if somewhere during my modification I've bent it slightly. But anyway I'm happy with how it turned out
  9. Was getting it in the Car detailing section. Now getting it in Drivetrain and transmission section as well
  10. mines not so bad? are your rubber boots in good condition? (or were they?)
  11. make your own. Thats what I did. pulled the outer metal section of the shifter off (its seperated from the centre part by rubber) and cut the thread from the outer section and welded it onto the inner section. Solid short shifter, Cost = $0 Replaced bush that sits on the bottom as well. Next to no slop now and feels alot nicer. If you have access to some tools + a welder then its a cheap option if you really want to do it. I had a spare one lying around so I just thought I'd give it a go.
  12. Well of course youd say that, person with the fastest car
  13. EDIT: Ok so it is a Camaro, should have read the link lol Didn't realise they made a V6 version Thats pretty decent effort For those who cant be bothered, these are the other two pics from the link
  14. Poor Phil Has to organise everything Something is in the works, just have to work out some dates. I will have to do something about that........
  15. If it's genuine then it will be fine
  16. Will have a look tomorrow. But I think I'll just run lean cruise straight from the tune
  17. Guarantee its not my O2 sensor. It's not even 5000km old
  18. Yeah except if your me and owe them money.......... FML
  19. Don't know enough about the nistunes but I thought seen as they run similar to the stock ECU that it might be expecting an O2 signal. As I said though, I don't know enough about the nistunes to confirm this is what happens
  20. The AEM UEGO Units are good. I've had mine for about 2 months now and can't fault it. It inputs AFR's into FC-Edit map watch which is all I really wanted it to do apart from being there to check everything was all good You never have to calibrate it Which is great. Ive had an innovate throw out rediculous readings halfway through tuning and had to pull over, pull the sensor out and calibrate it, bit of a pain Not gonna say to many things about the innovate units. Just saying the AEM ones are a good thing
  21. Do you have a power fc? If so check your hand controller to see if O2 feedback is on. If it's on and your O2 sensor is disconnected it may cause a problem - see your tuner to check if he has tuned it for lean cruise then you should just be able to turn this feature off If it's off already then I'd say go see your tuner as well and ask him about it. It could be the TPS I guess as it helps determine the load point on the map. Not to sure if it would cause the problems your having but
  22. Ah sweet as, that's what it will be doing then. Lean cruise was set around 15.5:1 but all of a sudden yesterday it was leaning out to close to 17:1. On boost the AFR's were still the same so I saw O2 feedback was off and thought it must have turned itself off So not sure what's happened to make it lean out like that but I'll tune it back to 15:5 and just leave O2 feedback off I think, seems like the easiest option. Thanks heaps for that, explains exactly what was going on and now I know how the O2 feedback works
  23. Oh I didn't think it was supposed to do this on closed loop (or at least not as much) Seems less economical then setting the map to run at a set AFR which it had been doing. Except then it seems to vary slightly depending on coditions I guess?
  24. Hi Noticed my car was leaning out on lean cruise today, had previously been fine. Went to play with the tune and my O2 feedback was off, so turned it on and the AFR hunts quite bad. It cycles between 14.6:1 and 15.6:1 at 60km/h (only had time to look at the 60km/h lean cruise AFR's) Was just wondering if the AFR's are supposed to hunt like this with O2 feedback on, and is it worth having O2 feedback on at all or just tuning the INJ map at the cruise points to achieve constant desired AFR Played with the INJ correction for O2 feedback, but didnt seem to make a difference. Came home for a look and in the Celica Forums and it says that the INJ correction value is the maximum value in the INJ Map that it will apply O2 feedback to If i understood it right Is an APEX'i Power FC in an R33 GTS't. Tuning with FC-Edit and FC-Hako interface Thanks
  25. I own an R33!
