  1. Damn you! haha. They have tool box/roll cab sets on sale now with the bling kit etc and there real tempting. I love the tool boxes with the bling kits You make a fair point, If I had to rely on tools as much as you I'd probably be buying snap on to. I retract my previous statement
  2. Yeah was on a hoist when I dropped my car off. On the dyno when I got back. Still a bit disappointed with my turbo but oh well. Keep trying to find the answer
  3. Not a problem Yeah prices for anything where I live are pretty rediculous lol Will check out Waxit, been looking at some of there products lately, looks like they stock some good stuff
  4. Hi Last time I ha it done my work payed for it as it was there fault. The time before from memory was about $450 for overspray removal and a full wax (I think) I've used the mothers and Maguires clay bar kits and they work well but dont quite get everything off and was thinking maybe I should be doing a light polish after this Thought all clay bars were basically the same so thanks for clearing that up
  5. $1000 Buy them!
  6. Rather then starting a new thread thought I'd ask in here Whats your best method of removing overspray from paintwork? I have pretty bad overspray on my car and it costs an arm and a leg to get it removed by local detailers, would rather do it myself Clay bar doesnt seem to get it all off, so maybe I need to clay bar then give it a light polish? Thanks
  7. Another victim of the Snap-On Craze Its good stuff but its way over priced IMO, I buy blue-point if I want to buy something from the snap-on truck, carries the same warranty and is just as good while being up to half the price of equivelant snap on tools Most of my tools are SP but. They are great tools to and well priced (eg. I bought a 19mm to 36mm spanner set for $250). I've only ever broken about 3 tools and they have just as good a warranty as Snap-On. Roll into an SP dealer, give them broken tool, recieve brand new tool, walk out. And I'm not playing with cars, I work on Dozers, Dump trucks, Excavators etc etc. My 2c, I'm not going to sit here and say snap-on tools are crap, there not. They are great tools. But there just like a BMW as far as I'm concerned. Your paying for the badge, not the item
  8. Remember that the D-Jetro Doesnt HAVE to run a Map sensor. You can still run AFM('s) but have the option of running a MAP sensor. So above all else the D-Jetro Gives you the option to run a MAP Sensor based system if you either think its better or dont want/cant afford to buy two Z32 AFMs etc for higher horsepower Or thats what I think anyway, I'm no expert lol
  9. Got my spoiler blade and endcaps done yesterday
  10. Mines going in to adrenaline on Monday for a power run. See if my new front cover has made much of a difference
  11. Carbon Fibre?
  12. They look alot like Series 1 lights.......
  13. oh, looked like it was going through the reo as well haha opps
  14. Mine still uses the standard number plate mounts. Phils is done with self taping screws (?) through the bumper and into the reo
  15. yeah it will be your speedo cable. In the R32's they will have a major affect on your HICAS Friends Speedo cable went in his 32 and had heavy steering till he replaced the speedo cable then went back to normal
  16. It can be side mounted as long as it is visible from 45 degrees and 3m away from the car at each side or something like that. Might be online somewhere? I have metal spacers and they don't make any noise. They mount to the bumper by those speed nuts or whatever they are called. But they are rubber or plastic so don't vibrate.
  17. The spacers I used were just lying around in the shed lol
  18. I drilled holes in the bottom of the plate and spaced it out. I had mine like yours with spacers for a while but decided to change it around the other week
  19. Clutch fan is dependant on temp not RPM. At low temps the fan shouldn't be locked up at any RPM but as the tenperature increases it will
  20. Your probably better off ringing them if you want a quick reply
  21. Ring NPC and talk to them. They were real helpful in helping me decide what clutch I should get and it's a lighter clutch then my exert cushion button was. My NPC clutch is a button so pretty annoying if you want a nice easy clutch
  22. Yeah whenever hey. Just give me a yell
  23. No it goes much higher then that Because the R33's have electronic speedos rather then cable driven, the speed is sensed from the gearbox output shaft and converted in to an electronic signal. I'm pretty sure that both GTS-t and GTR both have the same diff ratio, so the speed sensed from the output shaft would be transmitted as the same value to the speedo from both gearboxes. The only thing that would make them different would be a different diff ratio. I'm pretty sure they both share the same ratio, but happy to be corrected
