  1. You guys dont play fair haha. That'll look sweet on a White GTR. Cant wait to see some Pics KINGY: If your In town some time this week (afternoon) I can snap a few quick shots for you
  2. Having an 18MP DSLR has its perks.... lol
  3. Best I can do
  4. What wheels did you get?
  5. Mine needed rolling front and rear FYI But I'm running 265's on the back and 235's on the front. They were only just rubbing, rears rubbed when going over harsh bumps and fronts rubbed when turning thats supposedly 2 degrees of rear camber (According to pedders) looks like more but
  6. Yeah I wouldnt use anything like that I had thought about blocking up the holes with grub screws or something (threading them then putting grub screws in) but didnt think it was a great idea to do that. The cover doesnt have any form of seal (apart from the metal to metal flat surfaces) which isnt really a problem in normal form but I figure I'm probably getting a minor leakage. Thats why what I'm doing is a "quick fix" to see if it works before pursuing another alternative. I'm in contact with HKS about it, and if it provides gains I will be asking them for a Pro S front housing to put on to get some proper results. Thats about all I can tell you at the moment. It's all trial and error at the moment. If you want to get a new housing machined for your turbo, PM Hypergear (Stao). He is who gave me the original idea to block the anti surge slots and was pretty damn helpful about the whole thing. he was willing to machine a new front housing for it but I dont have the time to take the car off the road and send the turbo down to him.
  7. it will help slightly with bearing the load I guess but I dont think its going to cause your flywheel to fail if you leave it out, unless you were running stupid numbers in which cause youd have probably upgraded the bolts and flywheel anyway
  8. Agree it is mainly for alignment, it shouldnt make a difference because if you snap the 6 14mm(?) bolts then I dont think a 4mm dowel is going to stop much It does help you line up the flywheel so the bolts are dead centre in the holes, which I guess helps
  9. I'm in the middle of experimenting with a variation to the KAI. Its a temporary "fix" I guess just waiting on a dyno ATM (tune getting touched up on the road this weekend) I will share my results with HKS and then see if there will be any follow up (if the new setup out performs the old, it feels much better ATM anyway) As far as I know I'm the only one on these forums at least doing any testing but if anyone else is this is where I guess they will be posting
  10. I can give an answer for number 1 (assuming you are using FC Edit) I think you either right click on the map or it's in one of the drop down menus at the top but you have to check MapRef labels
  11. Think mines 6 puk. Mines 10" not the usual 9.5" as well (sprung button) Lighter pedal then my last clutch (exedy cushion button with seco pressure plate) I dont mind the feel of it, its pretty harsh but you can drive it smooth once your used to it, But bites hard when you drop it, very happy
  12. ah sorry i was the wrong way around 8.5 front 9.0 rears Same offsets as I said though. Was thinking of my old wheels being 9.5 rear lol..... They sit really nice, very happy with them
  13. No point asking if its good if its already going into your car..... Bit late to change your mind now But to answer your question... as above, heard nothing about them I have an NPC and will continue to buy them if I ever need a clutch
  14. Ive got 18" D1R's on mine. 8" front +35. 9.5" +38 rear. Wheel width is important in relation to offset
  15. It was a pretty good buy $463 delivered I think it was. Its a well made flywheel Dont have any regrets
  16. What tyre pressures were you running? I bump my 18's down to about 20psi when I use them at the drags. Im launching the car at about 4000rpm with these (265 wide tyres) and not getting any real weel spin. have managed a 2.0sec 60ft time at this, which is better then before but still not great Major thing is practice.... I need a hell of a lot more I know that much. Getting your tyre pressures right andgetting your Launch revs right are a good start but.
  17. I'm happy enough With my NPC Flywheel Billet with cooling vents in the centre for my NPC single plate button. It was more a piece of mind thing for me over anything else. Im not really chucking out the power to be throwing flywheels around but nice to have a new one, and know that at least im getting some cool air to the centre of the clutch. Rev wise, its a bit more responsive but not a great deal that I can tell..... Mine weighs 6.6kg, been meaning to weigh the stock flywheel, has anyone got a weight for it? Dont think its much heavier but
  18. What tyre width do you want?
  19. ah ok lol It looks pretty straight and tidy, well with the quick glance I got lol
  20. was that your gun metal (i think) 33 Heading into town?
  21. Got your front bar on? I'll get some photos for you when that happens
  22. You need to check that you don't have a drain somewhere in my car. My old car had a dodgy earth and the glovebox light was shorting to ground (not through the switch) and staying on This over night was draining the battery Simple check I guess you could do to eliminate a failing battery is unplug it (negative first) and leave the car sit over night and plug the battery back in. If all is well then it's a problem with the wiring. If not it could be your alternator or your battery
  23. Well ive hears of an r34 with a Neo and this turbo making 250rwkw but it had pon cams. So 10kw more then me with cams. I'm playing with a new front cover. Dyno soon to see the results
  24. Not a problem Having a copy of the tune to compare would be great, but I'm not going to ask for that as I know the answer I/You will get from the tuner lol.....
