  1. Haha yeah couldn't remember the exact figure. But that's pretty decent. Nah I have 19's ATM (buy them off me? There nice ) Getting 18" Raiden (Lenso) D1R Snapped a driveshaft not long ago and I'm pretty sure it's from the big wheels with the large rolling circumference. Think they are a bit heavy to, but damn there strong and they suit my car pretty well

  4. Thanks man. Yeah I'm getting over the whole thing lol Had set a target of about 270rwkw or so maybe 280 If it made it there. Was hoping to run e85 one day and just wind down the boost a touch so I was making roughly the same power with less boost. And have an agressive e85 tune to get me to 300rwkw and maybe a touch over even but yeah lol Pro s is capable of everything I've mentioned, hence the disappointment In ending up with this version lol. Sydney tomorrow so car is the last thing on my mind

  6. Pro s kits came with a 3" to 4" reducer. The one I saw this reducer was black unlike the rest of the hoses which are purple. They have a 3" hard pipe which is identical to the one supplie with the KAI kit. No need for the reducer with the KAI as it's 3" turbo housing to 3" pipe
  7. Pretty sure it's the turbo hey. Might try and get a pro s tune off someone and compare the maps. If there radically different I would say the turbo is limited I'm in talks with nengun who supplied it and they are going to talk to HKS about it. ATM I'm putting no blame on nengun as they just passed on HKS information. So will see what they come back with On holidays next week so car can wait for now.
  8. Mine is the KAI yes and has a 3" inlet on the turbo. Not the 4" like the pro s The pro s kits come with a 4" to 3" reducer and a 3" hard intake pipe
  9. Yeah I'm just disapointed that i spent so much on it when I could have gone for a hypergear for alot cheaper. The Pro S's have got great figures, Joeyjoejoe on here has pushed over 300rwkw with E85, and was running 280ish rwkw with 98. I wasnt targetting such high levels, but nice to know the turbo wasnt at its full potential in case I wanted to wind everything up Dyno's correct horsepower loss from heat through intake air temp sensors (well as far as I'm aware anyway) so realistically same dyno in 2 different locations should read fairly similar Its def fun to drive, Will be better when my 18's come. But still is a bit of a disapointment Mods I have are: Nismo 555cc tomei in tank fuel pump 3" intercooler piping (stainless) with GKTech intercooler Splitfire coilpacks Power FC Z32 AFM NPC 10" Sprung Button clutch 3" turbo back exhaust (XForce) Full HKS GT2835 KAI Kit (intake pipe, lines etc) Thats all I can really think of atm, Think thats it Hadnt thought about water meth but I dont think thats the issue. ATM I cant be bothered spending any more money on it, spent enough already and I've lost alot of motivation right now, so maybe in a few weeks I will see.
  10. Making no more power above certain rpm doesnt mean you won't increase speed. And it's called rich and retard. All the 33 ecu's do it, just to different degrees. Ecu is seeing figures that it see's as being dangerous and adjusts to bring it to a safe level
  11. Think about how much air is going through the turbo on idle...... Next to none. 3" pipe will be fine. They supply a 3 inch pipe and reducer for a reason. Never heard of any issues

  13. Disapointing results from my car today...... Only managed 240rwkw @18psi Considering the turbo I have is supposed to be an improved version of the GT2835 Pro S, its quite annoying, Pro S turbos have easily seen 260rwkw and I have all the supporting mods to achieve that. Going to do a compression test when i find some time and motivation, Bit of a blow spending all that money to achieve what I could have got with a high flow. Bit disappointed considering results that have been achieved with the Pro S, Was told the KAI was a new improved version of the Pro S as they are discontinuing that (Pro S) Interested to see results that others have got from this turbo, if my results are low and I have some issue, or if thats just all the turbo is capable of. EDIT: Dyno Graph (sorry I dont have a scanner so its just a photo taken with my phone)

  16. Thats tru to.. But I guess he should be able to hear the limiter if its actually reving alot higher then it is. Hard to say Maybe try a new tacho, and if you have a power fc, graph speed vs rpm on there (as I described above) and see if you can see the revs continue to rise when the speed has flattened
  17. I guess it could be a speed sensor fault but I think they usually work or don't. There's no real middle ground.
  18. Use the graph on the hand controller to see if the speed peaks then holds while the revs increase. Log speed and rpm and then click next twice and it should get you to the graph This is if you have a power fc. That's what I was guessing

  20. Put threads in the right section for a start? Change oil every 5000km, take care of it, put 98RON in it. etc etc
  21. unless its an auto.... nothing really........ depending on the clutch you might not smell it I never smelt my exedy Cushion button on the way out and it was fairly wrecked when i pulled it out
  22. ummmm..... If your car is reving more and not gaining any speed what does that tell you? Make sure your clutch isnt slipping If your engine is still increasing speed then your gearbox should be increasing speed.... Raising the rev limiter is not going to fix this. Think about it.....
  23. is your speedo working fine? You can go on youtube and look for HICAS diagnostic it will show you and tell you how to do it. Basically but I think it is turn car on, steer left and right 10 times in 10 seconds (or something like that) hit the brake twice, drive forward a couple of metres, stop and hit the brake pedal again (may be clutch pedal instead of brake, like i said youtube it) that will give you HICAS diagnostic. Most common problem as said is aftermarket steering wheel which gives the steering angle sensor incorrect readings, Mine did this casue my boss kit was installed slightly out of position and wasnt engaging instantly. Little things can make it stuff up but this never made my steering heavy just bought the HICAS light on First things first, check your Power steering resivour is at the correct level, there are no leaks, and your power steering belt is the correct tightness
  24. I made a pretty nice track the other day, its just a shame you cant fine tune it as theres one or two parts that annoy me. The rest of it is pretty nice with big sweeping corners and chicanes. Its a start I guess, better then nothing
