  1. I think it just has something to do with the frequency of the moving parts at lower speeds (under 500rpm lets say) Thats just a guess, but I had a go
  2. If your air con is cold on 18 but warm on all other temperatures then it is most likely the sensor behind the dash on the left hand side of the steering wheel (It is on 33's pretty sure same spot on 32's) Its a little grille, couple of slots if you would like to call that. Sometimes if you pull the dash off and put it back on you can forget to plug the sensor or the hose back on. If you pull the dash out you will see what I'm talking about. there should be a hose (just a rubber thin hose, it shouldnt be hard should be nice and soft) and a plug that goes into a sensor, the sensor is around where the hose plugs in on your dash, you should see the place where the hose plugs in See if that helps
  3. yeah they dont suit the black 34 but should look Good on a white car, How is the drag car going, will have to go check out the thread again, its been a while The D1R's are quite nice for the price they are, Alot cheaper then the Koya Inox R1's that just came off it..... lol
  4. Main reason is tyres I always wanted 18's but im fussy with wheels and after choosing about 3 different wheels that I liked only to find out they didnt come in the right offset in 18" etc then I finally settled on the 19's I just took off. There a great rim, they look great and they are so tough, but every time something happens and I need to change wheels in a hurry, It costs me $600. I can get cheaper wheels sent up from down south but last 2 times ive had to change tyres its been urgent so had to source them locally. And I end up with Nankangs cause I cant afford anything better (Had a quote from one place for $700 EACH! for Yokohamas) And noone had the 19" tyre size in stock. The new wheels are really growing on me, but I still think the old ones are a great wheel I dont like those wheels on the black skyline there but should look good on a white 32 (Your not painting it a different colour right? haha)
  5. This is what you must watch out for
  6. I think you can also take off the fuel line from the feed line to the injector rail (at any point in front of the pump) and let the pump prime My fuel pump primes constantly if I hold my key just ever so slightly before start (not sure if yours would be the same being a 32) but this may be a good way to get the majority of the fuel out of the tank. If its impossible to get all of it out then try adding some octane booster and some fresh fuel, but best bet would be to remove as much of the stale fuel as possible As above, changing spark plugs would be a good idea to
  7. Pics will help But I think your talking about there being movement up and down (a small gap between the top shifter plastic retainer and circlip). If so I know mine (Custom Solid short shifter I made from the standard shifter) has a small amount of play, I dont think its anything to worry about if it still shifts gear fine and the movement isnt excessive
  8. They did a great job of it, have to give them credit for that
  9. New wheels turned up yesterday My Old ones are for sale now if anyone is interested. Chasing about $1500 (19 x 9.5 rear, 19 x 8.5 fronts) More details if anyones interested Heres a pic of them on the car:, photo was taken when I first got the old rims
  10. Black is better for dissipating heat apparently
  11. Simple but effective, well done lol
  12. And it comes up on your laptop to
  13. He has a shop down south somewhere I think just advertises on Ebay as well.... contact him and see what he says about differences between 2 door and 4 door R33 boots, Im not sure of the differences Ebay - Seductive Sounds Best I can do
  14. Only if you get the 1.21 Jigga-watt version.....
  15. Minor issue... Just stick to 6000rpm and it should be fine
  16. you want to install an aftermarket tacho or boost gauge and have it only light up? :S Or are you talking about a turbo cluster with the stock boost gauge? if so it will light up anyway....... I seriously hope that is what you meant
  17. Has anyone booked accom yet? lol I'm thinking about booking soon, just wondering if anyones having troubles due to it being easter weekend
  18. fan above that mat is your A/C fan that blows the air through the vents in the car... The evaporator is in front of that and your R134a A/C refrigerant as atmoised liquid to cool your air down (so there is A/C refrigerant around this area, but as I said it should be a fluro green colour, Does your air con work in your car? Because a leak like that from the air con would make your air con stop feeling cool by now for sure) Depends on the ECU I can only confirm that a Power FC will not lose its tune if unplugged
  19. Pretty sure the GTR boot is the same as the GTST. If so, someting like this is the best option 12" Moulded Sub Box I have that very one but for the RHS instead of left. Produces decent enough sound for me and fits really well. I'm not after a perfect audio system so it may not be the best but It got me some boot space back. Had a generic sub box in there before and it just takes up so much room because it doesnt really fit into any of the corners
  20. A/C Compressor is located at the front of the engine below the power steering pump from memory.... If it was from that it would have a definate fluro green tinge to it. It must be traceable, Just try your best to look along the main harness. If you cant see it on the engine bay side then something may be leaking down the firewall? Does your car noticably lose oil when you go to service it (Does the oil on the dipstick go down between services)?
  21. Edited one photo from sydney, Having a play with the first photo I put up in my last post to get rid of the lense flares in it. There not to bad but playing with photoshop helps me out a bit Its a pretty basic edit, Black and white with a highlighed object in the foreground..... It doesnt look straight... but if I go 1 degree more clockwise it looks worse, so maybe I'll play with smaller angles if photoshop will let me. I realised after this that I should have softened the edges a bit around the bouy possibly...
  22. apart from above post and OP, has anyone driven a 35 GTR? As far as I can see you cant just assume it is awesome because its an evoloution of the cars you have... I'm not trying to be an A$$hole, its just the truth. I dont know how a 35 GTR feels... I like them, I think they would be great to drive, but I havent driven one so I cant sit here and say he is wrong. Yes there is a slight variation between his opinion in the two videos, but as said they are in different contexts really....
  23. Looks like the standard fuel pump The Tomei pump i put in was smaller then the standard pump, not by as much as the walbro but it was slightly smaller I remember that much
  24. I'll have a look at it tomorrow and see if I can sus it out but yeah wont do anything if I cant work it out. Will report back tomorrow
