  1. Completely stock standard condition..... except for: MINES computer, TEIN suspension JASMA(not a brand) exhaust, Ferrari steering wheel (LOL), A-pillar gague, non original dash fascia, non original gear knob, missing stereo and climate controls, missing rear spoiler, hard IC pipes, painted cam covers and timing cover, paint stripped from plenum, stock airbox removed for pod filters, coil valley cover missing. But, yeah.... completely stock standard.
  2. That 'HKS driving performer' is a 2.8 litre, so yours would be more laggy. But depends what you like. Definitely an adrenalin rush tho.
  3. Heard on the news tonight that the SA government is now saying that there is no land available. And that the investors are getting fed up and may look interstate. Good on ya SA, the backwards state.
  4. Still working through GT4. Up to the formula GT championship. Ever since i saw the article in Motor mag about the Sauber-Mercedes C9... I must have that car! 4 wins from 4 races, so far so good!
  5. That tool who got busted with no license and no rego thinks he's a hero

  7. I had it on for two minutes.... Uggh, that was enough.
  8. "....Yes, the GT-R is massively quick and very good value from $148,800" /end article
  9. Saw this one on youtube. So they measured 430.6hp at the wheels. Sounds spot on. 10% drivetrain loss (as Nissan claim) and the result is 478.4hp at the fly. They estimate that drivetrain loss could be as high as 25%! What? Do they think Nissan would just slap together an inefficient drivetrain to go with the DSG on their supercar?
  10. He wasn't being anal, just expecting that someone who was given a privilege would respect someone elses property. This guy sounds like an absolute a/hole, and doesn't deserve to be your friend. I know the type. When they get in/out they knee the console panels etc. and screw up the floor mat; they just don't care. Years ago a friend of mine had an R33 GTSt and it was way better than anything I'd ever had but he let me drive it, because we had a mutual respect. I treated it responsibly, carefully, just giving it a couple of squirts up to 5000. I would trust him driving any of my cars. But there is likely very few people that you would know like that. No you're not over reacting, I would have felt violated aswell (I started getting angry just reading it) and you did well not to yell at him in front of his family. The best thing you can do is learn from this experience. I don't know how old you are but I found it's just something that comes with age (learning who to trust). Remember: It's your car, your property, you decide who gets the privilege. You just need to discern who deserves it. And you can always say that for insurance reasons you can't let anyone else drive it.
  11. Don't quote me on this but I think standard they pull about 160-170rwkw. Standard clutch will likely slip with a mild power increase, but may depend on age/condition. Standard dumps are fine with standard turbos. Go 3inch exhaust and make sure the cat is flowing properly. Standard fuel pump will be plenty at this level. With an ECU and removal of the boost restrictor (in the vacuum line to the boost controller) you could be making around 230-250rwkw.
  12. x2 The VQ35 is a great engine to start with. Wouldn't it be easier just to stroke it bolt on some turbos and put a holinger behind it? It would be alot less hassle. Not as interesting 'pics' wise, but easier. Besides, it's not called a VQ38VHRTT. I reckon if you'd gone to all the trouble of sourcing it and sticking it in the car you'd know the correct engine designation. And you wouldn't normally get front seats in a half cut, and definately not a rear mounted transaxle gearbox. Sorry mate, it's nothing personal, just that a few things don't quite add up. However, if you are genuine, then good on ya mate for doing something different, and if the pics do surface, then I'll eat my hat.
  13. Oh, wait, yes. I do remember seeing all those skylineowners at Nuremberg.
  14. What dyno graph are you looking at? At 2500rpm it's only making 130hp atw
  15. Hmmmmm, If you do it all the time......How do you like your fuel bill?
  16. That sounds a bit strange. What about these guys?
  17. Dropping the oil is the first thing you do when you buy a new car, for that reason: You don't know what's in it.
  18. Hey mate, I haven't got an R34, but if it's the same as the R33 (from what I can tell in pics, it is) then yeah it's boost. Should read a maximum of 7 or .7 . As in .7bar, or 10.3psi
  19. I think this number plate is much more appealing for a GT-R. 602174. The 6 is a G 0 is a D 2 is a Z (much more appealing) 1 is an I 7 is an L 4 is an A You see, much more appealing than real letters. And let's be realistic. An asking price of, *with accent* "One hundred billion dollars" KNOB HEAD!!!!
