  1. That's an interesting post too Daniel. It may not be workable whilst several cough medicines contain alcohol; but would it save Lives? The answer is YES. Alcohol is still the most abused drug in our society.
  2. So glad I never said anything derogatory about the purple R33 of yours Johnny
  3. In the future, if marijuanha is used for painkilling purposes, it'll require a prescription - probably for marijuanha biscuits. That prescription/repeat copy will probably need to be on the person himself/herself. That's not to say though that some people might fake pain to qualify for such a script - in which case, they can legally have marijuanha in the system whilst drug tested. Interesting post Andrew.
  4. Congrats. Don't put the $$ back into that garnishee'd account ay?
  5. Usually the temp needle on the EVO sits just below halfway. Is your reservoir full, but the rad is down on coolant? If so, there's a leak, maybe a small one from a hose or at the top of the intake manifold. Is there a puddle underneath where you park it? Water pump perhaps if there is. Are the rad hoses firm whilst idling? After the rad was changed, was the system bled of any air? This is what I suspect most of all, because further bleeding may need to be done on the 2nd day.
  6. Yes, it's embossed Simon in the modern day n-i-s-m-o logo on the other side. Part# KWA10-50710 (more fancy and detailed than KWA10-50720) I've sent Marko to you about your LMGT1 set. Look after him won't you? Meanwhile, I don't know what this old school font is called but for my R32 GT-R, I'm collecting them... I'm after the radiator cap one (if anyone has one f/s), and I think I need to sift through this thread again too...
  7. Hi Res Pic please Luke?
  8. Having a whole weekend punctuating your enquiries must be exasperating I'd be eating a whole box of Gaytimes
  9. Welcome to SAU Harrison, Hope you obtain what you hope for! Even if you find a prospect in the eastern states, I wouldn't hesitate getting it inspected from an RB specialist (which the vendor isn't in kahoots with).
  10. White BNR32 coming down through GWH Springwood at about 9.30am - very well presented! Purple R33 going up GWH at about 10.30am. Had a weird morning actually. The fruiterer at Linden made an offer on my 8MR. I told him about NRMA Vintage Classic and Veteran insurance and then he goes off to enquire straight away about his VK Grp A. In Springwood I buy a paper and wander down to the Vietnamese bakery. I needed $1.80 for a bag of six buns, but I only have $1.75. So here I'm looking for a 5c coin all the way down Macquarie Rd and resign myself to buying four buns instead. As I'm waiting for a woman to get served I then see a $2 coin under a bench. And as I'm reaching for it I see another $2 coin. Like I said, it's a weird morning! And I'm considering the offer Tony made for the EVO.
  11. Matt Howard is his name. Fully Licensed. 0419402686 "What Dent" Paintless Dent Removal is his business. There were 8+ dents on this rear quarter panel alone. Plus 4 on the FR quarter. Matt took from 10am till 2pm to massage them all out at JLM's premises. And one of JLM's workers, a former panelbeater - Maurice, said that Matt was really meticulous. Before seeing the job and from the description I gave, Matt quoted between $300-350. Whilst he still had an hour to go, he said $280. I offered $300. But he insisted on $280 for the 12 dents. Magic!
  12. I don't know if our famous Matt Everingham is permitted to offer any more teasers than this...
  13. Are there any articles on BCNR33 LMs in the UK? I'll try and dig up what I have and check with Express Publications if any back issues still exist. By the way, HPI referred to above stands for "High Performance Imports" now renamed, "Performance Imports" magazine. Stay tuned to this thread Will!
  14. Welcome to SAU Will! It looks as if the liaison has now commenced! Your project has been done very tastefully too > a credit.
  15. You'll see that soon as well Ravi Yes it's coming!
  16. Thanks Ravi, That "old school" NISMO theme I'm after on this car includes from all you SAUers... So if you guys have any more of this NISMO Font lying around, I'm interested - and did I say, "Thanks"!
  17. The West is regarded as being too complacent (about Ebola)...
  18. You obviously... a) were too lucid to be a druggie or b) knew too much about the wife he was about to divorce.
  19. Congratulations Tom in being able to negotiate with reason and for the manager to be able cautiously accede to it.
  20. They don't have Kea parrots in Vic do they?
  21. I would like to see more contributors wanting to say thanks - but then again; I used to be really really shy myself once! Whilst still waiting for this car to be complianced, I can still say thanks to... * Simon (SAU - Owgasm) for looking out for this car for me in Japan * Todd O'Donnell (JLM) for doing some astute bidding on this car + Nismo key ring * Lachlan (SAU - lokilea) for a really nice set of LMGT1 with 'old school' Nismo stickers in beautiful cond. * Richard (SAU - Sinista32) for donating a socket for Nismo wheel nuts * Bob (SAU - Aussie_Delivered_R32_GTR) for a next to new steering wheel * Rob (SAU - Rob260) for 'old school' Nismo horn button * Eugene (SAU - mxfly) for an N1 front splitter * Chris (SAU - RedlineGTR) for 'old school' Nismo stickers * Matt and Darron (Just Jap) for engine cover refurb. and 'old school' Nismo badges * Adam (JLM) for 'old school' Nismo oil cap * Dave (SAU - Aggroman) for 'old school' Nismo kill switch lighter * Grant (SAU - Count Grantleyish) for Nismo seat belt pads * Simon (SAU - NURVOUS) for Nismo Caps * Andrew (Kudos Motorsports) for Nismo S-Tune suspension, Nismo brake lines, Nismo clutch line * Paul (SAU - Piggaz) for Nismo fuel pump * Sean (SAU - GTRSean) for Nismo 555cc injectors * Haynes Manuals for BNR32 workshop manuals, owner's manuals * Mizo (JLM) for a wonderful major service and filling out the Jap log book in Japanese * Jez (DVS_JEZ) or Adam (JEM) for a future tune * Peter (SAU - Peterj) or Eugene (SAU - mxfly) for a future detail Again, thanks guys - past, present and future. Pity the N1 couldn't make it for this...
  22. Apparently James the incidence of illicit drugs in motorists is running as high as 1 in 15 (in eastern seaboard cities atm). Our next door neighbour's daughter a few yrs ago was walking along the GWH and was killed by a woman driving under the influence of weed. Nowadays, there's a lot of amphetamine and methamphetamine too. The more druggies the cops catch the less car thefts there'll be (to some extent).
  23. Yes, glad it's been recovered. Take note of anything amiss for insurance purposes eg damage to bodywork, blowing smoke, creaks and squeeks etc
  24. UV protection in the aftermath is a good idea as stated by Jon.
