  1. Out of interest... Can you pull the ABS fuse and do a session and offer feedback?
  2. Little value in going E85 with std RB25 turbo. E85 is great at allowing you to wind boost into an engine and you are capped at 12-14 psi Given the expense of going to E85 a HKS 2530 on 98 will be you better results
  3. Honda now saying their engine is better than Renault's and it's Spa upgrade hopes to match Ferrari. Lol they are now blaming McLaren for poor aero and mech grip

  7. Same exhaust.... Still. If it's 10 years old and had been bumped on-off the car I would want to be sure that a baffle hasn't corroded and come loose etc. Easy enough to drop it snd check. Ditto rag in cooler pipe. I wouldn't jump to the conclusion that head and springs are a problem until you have done basic checks. Tuner can't guide you based on how engine responded to fuel and ignition numbers?
  8. Collapsed mufflers, cat....plug gaps and of course the quality of the tune itself
  9. Unless you are going for a 8,000rpm screamer and want to rag on the engine all the time stick with std plenum. Far better suited to a std manifold under 300rwkw build

  11. Ditto, front lca in particular. I am in the middle of installing the new front end, rear end and gearbox. lol ony taken me 12 months...hope you rip into it quicker than me!

  19. What turbine housing are you running? Any pics? There are a few different versions now...and the latest offering which is a Skyline specific T3 "looks" right compared to the avomination housings they use to offer as their internal gate, T3 offering. If someone wants a new 18G cheap I have one laying around which is no good to me since my 20 overheated
  20. Lol, yeh...i really want to run GTX2860s with Tial 0.63 A/R turbine housings with the T04B style comp cover with 3" inet and 2" outlets, all high mounted with twin Tial 8mm MVS gates. Would be schmick setup but defeats the purpose of me going from the single as i need to go to a std looking setup on a std 26 to keep enjoying my car on the street. Nobody cares about my race seats, half cage, brakes...all they care about is under the bonnet
  21. Need a full GTR tank, straps etc from an R32. So really need someone wrecking an R32 in Melbourne. Also need some do days so if you have an R32 being parted I need misc trim bits
  22. Not worried about the money as much as do i get to run one of these filters for 2 years stress free? Does their smaller physical size mean i need to clean them at shorther intervals...do some brands leak thru o-rings (or is that internet chatter BS?) Mostly i cant find a 5 micron filter as the Bosch one i run is 5 micron and good for years.. I am guessing 10micron is fine given its all they seem to be offered in?!
  23. I don't care if twins or singles or semantics of the debate as there are loads of variables.... But one very good point is I would love to see the singles performance with the gate plumbed back so it's at least attempting to be a street able road car. My experience, albeit at ~300rwkws and 80mm exhaust is it makes a huge difference to power, response and ignition the tune can take when switching external gate to plumb back...as an observation the quality of the front pipes seem to have a decent impact on twins too. That said...if there was a reasonable process to getting a single thru roadworthy i would stick with a single every time....just for convenience and simplicity when banging around on track
  24. So how long do these Earl type cleanable fuel filters last before they need a clean? Currently running a Bosch motorsport 5 micron filter and about to replace it... Not sure it's worth paying twice the price for reusable ones as they look a ways smaller
  25. God i hope not...boring Fezz line up....i want some fireworks. Put an emotional and fast Frenchman in there to see how fired up they all get when the German starts getting emotional. It will be status quo with Bottas
