  1. hehehe..you in your Farmer Frans Potato car? Be interesting, you with more talent, me with more power
  2. Dont worry, it will be fun having our own grudge racing R32 GTSt class . 2L vs 5.7L I will be in Open class and no doubt 6-8 seconds off the ourright pace, but just hope on paper i can cholke out a credible time EC will be great for the rwd boys in the std class as they will be much closer to the EVOs on std rubber. Hell my GTSt with std turb, odd mis matched tyres and the 180km/h limiter still did 1:56s around there. I have only taken the TD06 out to EC once and it was wet and scary, so really hoping with some fresh boots the old girl can get under the 1:50 benchmark LOL, just wish i had the R400 i was driving at Spa as it was quicker then my toy
  3. RB20 or an RB20?
  4. Your car will be slower if running anything but the WEDS. LOL i know my car is now slower
  5. Meridian do nice ones but charge the same price as a half cage for their harness bars
  6. I would say that you should consider dirt stuff, classic rallying is cheap, accessible and learn a lot about spannering and driving...just need somebody for the crazy seat
  7. ... all the cool kids are doing it these days Its only hacks like me that try and mess up and hit stuff
  8. Good wheel work in keeping it off the tyres and driving out of the trap...i cringed as i had flashbacks to my Sandown woopsie Oh, and looking at your earlier vid...you were quicker without the gloves
  9. I mam with you Raysboostin...it was a long while ago when i checked up, but irrespective of the head you put on the car and the emmission gear you run, use an RB30 bottom end and that means you have to have the SOHC head, Holden or Nissan ECU and NA or the RB30ET from the VL in order to comply with the emmissions for that engine. You deviate from set recipe then whats coming out the tailpipe can be called into question. An RB26/30 is nether an RB26, or an RB30. Unless you are running the std ECU which means the engine complies with the emmissions tests that were completed to get import approval/compliance for that range of car...then most (the two i spoke with anyway) engineers will ask that your car undergo the expensive emissions testing to verify the hybrid engine. This is why the APS kits cost so much money as their WRX, 200SX and TT 350Z kits are all complied and meet the emission requirements. Of course there are probably those that have been given different advice, or have had different experiences....but just pointing out that you are not the only one that was given the above advice
  10. Nice rims...if they were not such craxy offsets i would have bought them straight away for my R32 GTSt. They are a good buy at this price as i priced some 18x9+28 & 18-10+34 last year and they were jsut under $1000 a rim
  11. So no surprise that Nico was just confirmed at Mercedes here in the UK....the real question is who will be alongside him. If its Heidfeld then it will represent similar promise for the guy as his signing at Williams all those years, ago, only for Wiliams to continue the downward spiral...can Brawn-Mercedes continue at the front...i think Brawn needs to grab Kimi, F1 will be poorer without him, he is a great talen, i think Brawn will get the best out of him and i think Mercedes will want a true hgh profile, talented guy. No doubt they will be annoyed that the WDC/WCC team will not have the No.1 on one of their cars next year and Kimi brings a WDC to the team. Come on Mercedes...
  12. ...i cant see a turbo in that shot Dave, interesting that you have chosen to go NA on your RB26/30. FARK ME!
  13. My groundhog day at Spa... And a GT3 Porka going through flat....lol for 24 hours!
  14. Interesting, some food for thought ...i wonder since the M-Speed car doesnt run V-Cam, perhaps runs dramatically different cams and head porting. I think the strength of each respective approach is they as a package they work, so perhaps there are some/enough differences to actually result in a different outcome
  15. Thats looks fast on the footage so can only imagine how fast it would have been in real life. So the 32 making a return?
  16. Dont make it out to be hard...this guy showed us years ago what you have to do in your line of work LOL, i crack me up Nice car, in July i sat in the Nurburgring carpark just staring at a black 997 GT2 like a total retard for about 5 minutes...the owner then came and moved his car, i think to just get it away from me His had the monkey car option and the attractive GF option ticked too
  17. Thats still a lot of money, decent night on the piss in Dublin
  18. So how chep is chep, 235/40/17s ?
  19. I can do that drive in my sleep these days, i have done it sooo often. But yep, should be able to sort accom as well
  20. I was looking at that car, it looked very neat. As good a buy as it looked?
  21. RIP guys and thoughts with their families and friends
  22. Please dont try and build car that drives like the Mines R34, there is so much to that car, very little has to do with it being 2.6L and running smallish twins. It has more to do with the crasy short diff ratios, carbon prop shaft, some 250-300kgs lighter then std...not to mention it has a 6 spd where R32/33s have 5 wider gear ratios...list goes on
  23. I dont see that havng the sme effect as it did last year. The sgnificant rule changes meant that Ferrari and McLaren hurt for development of the car under the new rules. In 2010 they throw in a bigger fuel tank and any development of the 2009 car goes almost directly towards the 2010 car so wont have such an impact
  24. Is that an RB20, it has 25 rocker covers
  25. There were talks tonight that Kimi has signed wuth Mercedes...but the source is not overly credible, some Spanish paper or something
