  1. With relatively small turbine housings internally wastegated I would stay away from long duration cams giving lots of overlap.
  2. Don't care what they do to the M5 as long as they put back an Inline 6 in the M3... I died a bit inside when it went to a V8.
  3. Does anyone else think it is strange how BW does not have a lot of the import market here is Australia? Even the first generation of Airworks turbos like the S300SX, etc were not that popular despite being so well priced. For around $1k you can get a S200SX, S300SX or S400SX... it is not as if people have gone to the limits with these turbos either and are looking for better things (i.e. the EFR range).
  4. Thanks for answering that; thought they looked special especially on the exhaust side. Who is doing the head machining?
  5. Are they standard valve seats?
  6. If you are reffering to the Racepace VCT effort I have been told is was a NEO head. In which case what Red R is doing is certainly different to that.
  7. Why don't you try this: http://www.gtr.co.uk/forum/152585-switcheroo-rb25-head-wears-26-hat.html Seems like Mr Red R still has some things in his big back of RB tricks!
  8. Intake only. Variable on the exhaust is really just for emissions not more power.
  9. Hey mate; is the front bumper for the 400R body kit a write off too?
  10. Washing the car today and just noticed a few drips of water on the inside of the small rear window (RHS). First time I noticed it... anyone have a similar problem or had a go at fixing it?
  11. Much better; was depressed for you when you said RWD only.
  12. Yes getting the right thing to start with is the way to go. Was just a thought... easy come easy go
  13. Thread revival... Can a V8 Supercar Holinger be adapted to accept the GTR transfer case? (i.e. R32/33 or R34 transfer case?) or is there a specific model of Holinger intended for the GTR.
  14. Hi Johno, can you get an estimate on shipping to 5160 please?
  15. Speak to Brad at Pro Fabrications.
  16. Is that the gearbox that Robbie Ward broke on that silver R33?
  17. Yeah he is local to me seems good. Body might be f**ked though. How do people go with getting parts for the C110 like front grill, tail lights, etc
  18. Bobby, did you ask about exhaust manifold back pressure and boost pressure?
  19. Not being rude Mr Baron but I think it is hideous at $8k for what you get. It is convenient for a builder with more money and no knowledge or inclination to do it themselves but it is way out of most reach for most who don't want oiling problems. That being said it is proven on the track!
  20. Anyone got more information on James from Nisspeed? Does he do his own machining? Head porting?
  21. If you have vacuum in the crank case why would you need to. Post in here: http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/topic/365583-dry-sumps-and-you/ Can we get threads merged?
  22. Good little tricks there Brad. There are some sneaky oil mods to prevent starving the little end one is to have a hole bored all the way through the length of the con rod (usually using EDM) so when the oil drilling on the crank lines up with the hole in the big end of the rod you get a squirt of oil up to little end. Some of the top racing teams in the US run up and over 20-25" Hg vacuum
  23. From what I have read around 10-15" Hg to get the horse power gain; beyond that not many more gains to be had and it is more difficult with OEM seals etc.
