  1. Where are you? Possibly swap my .63 for your .86 or whatever.
  2. Front calipers GTT or GTR. Get front and rear and rotors to suit.
  3. Your turbo is too big and your wastegate probably too small. You could fiddle with it but better to get another turbo.
  4. If you can get the wheels to spin the wheel sensors will detect that before you get any forward motion for the g sensor to react to.
  5. Will it fit your car? Looks good but don't you know a local fabricator who could make you one for about half the price?
  6. If you saw two black lines that would be different. Atessa reaction is not immediate. In fact R32 was quite slow. R33 (and Stagea) is quicker and R34 GTR is quicker still. The answer is in your second sentence - attessa senses traction being lost - it can't somehow anticipate it.
  7. 235s are illegal on 9.5 rims. Why on earth would you buy wide wheels and put narrow tyres on? Why don't you think about tyres BEFORE you buy the wheels?
  8. Only 650kw? OP is going for 850!
  9. Here's one - closes in 17 hrs so be quick! http://www.trademe.co.nz/motors/car-parts-accessories/nissan/electrics/auction-768997726.htm
  10. You would think there has to be a good reason for that. I take it your engine builder has not used astronomical compression ratios in his previous 600w builds otherwise you wouldn't be asking how to acheive it.
  11. It won't be easy. Only ever heard of one person running more than 10:1 on an RB30 and that was originally designed to be n/a - haven't heard how the turbo conversion worked out. Most people aim for around 9.5:1
  12. Very nice. I like braided lines but I use rubber hose cause I'm poor. BTW what kind of plenum is that?
  13. For a few bucks more you may as well get the Walbro 465L pump which is ethanol friendly in case you want more than 500hp and decide to get E85 some time. Directly wire it and you won't need to revisit your fuel pump for a long time.
  14. I have a set of Deatschwerks 550s in my car now - have had them for about 5 years and they seem ok. However I believe they are just "remanufactured" Nismos or something and when I upgrade I will be getting IDs or Bosch or whatever they are.
  15. ^^^what he said. Scot will sort you out with the right rail and injectors to make it work scotty nm35
  16. No you can't change the spring rates from the drivers seat (there is a remote damper adjustment). Note that the spring rates they have chosen for a road and part-time track car are 5/4
  17. Here's my surge tank located in a wagon - so I have had to make a steel cover for it.
  18. I believe there is a model of Bluebird with the right length cable.
  19. I don't know where you get $20 - $30k for a Rips engine. What are you going to pay for a Tomei stroker kit? They are way more expensive than a Rips block in NZ. Just to compare NZ$9k buys you this from RIPS: RB30 forged internal shortblock for 4WD with with adapter plate and pickup. Genuine RB30 block and crank, high quality forged pistons and billet rods, crack tested, straight tested, ground and grub screwed crank, full balancing, wide oil pump drive, ACL race bearings, acid dipped block with oil restrictors, torque plate bored and honed, decked, new brass frost plugs, all assembled and painted. And that is more than just a stroker kit. Sure there is shipping on top but all the other extras are things you would have to do with your stroker kit as well.
  20. Turn the one way valve around. It doesn't make sense the way it is. But monitor it - you may get heaps of smoke out the exhaust! I must admit I have thought of using a venturi in the exhaust to create negative crankcase pressure but have a look at the oil control thread (well maybe the lst 10 pages or so). http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/topic/110680-oil-control-in-rbs-for-circuit-drag-or-drift/?&hl=sk+oil+control
  21. Find a good tuner. Ask them for a recommendation and buy that (unless its to buy a Motec or something ridiculously expensive). A good tuner with the necessary software can probably tune anything but if they are familiar with the ecu it will be quicker (and cheaper for you).
  22. At what point is 3in not enough? What power are you making now? I am making 314awkw and have wondered if a bigger exhaust would help although most say 3in is enough for 350kw.
  23. Are you in Japan or Aus? You can buy already modified GTR quite cheap in Japan. But for example in NZ you can get a well modified R32 GTR for $30 - $35K or buy a stock one for $20k and then have to spend $30k to get the same thing.
  24. Just dug them out of storage - have L and R chrome handles and lock and the box they sit in but not the exterior surround. Hope you are sorted but if you want I can post pics of mine (S1)
  25. I realise its hard to photograph the underside of the ffp but if you can put up some pics I will compare it to mine (do you have a Greddy copy?) as I am not having any such problems.
