  2. s1=12mm like r33 s2=14mm like r34 although some s1's have been found with 14mm bolts i think a setup that allowed you to use the stock calliper with 324mm gtr rotors would be excellent i had to scrounge up some new wheels when i upgraded to 34 brakes because of clearance issues
  3. tv repair places can probably test it, they have all the gear to do it
  4. anyone know if they have something similar for steel? i've got a stick welder and we're trying to modify a pocket bike exhaust onto a motorised push bike (using the band expander) the cheap chinese steel is so thin that its got a few holes in it just want something solder like that will work like this does
  5. well i've finally had time to dig out gt5, updated it and got a lovely surprise when i finally got in someone has given me the red bull x2010 thing, its so spastic its awesome DO NOT DRINK AND DRIVE WITH THIS CAR OR YOU WILL DIE IN REAL LIFE!
  6. mine is in a funny order too i also have funny extra holes drilled in it must be a jap thing
  7. pretty sure its actually toe in/out that kills tyres the quickest just get adjustable nolathane bushes for it
  8. probably popped when it was newish in japan => warranty replacement or somesuch
  9. i think i was looking at $170 for a new top tank + rod the core and clean it out my top tank was split under the filler hole or get a brand new rad for $200ish (i went the hard way and wasted $350ish on a justjap alloy rad, it was leaking after 18 months)

  13. i'll be back on the gold coast in less than a month if your still having issues nd want a hand with stuff
  14. my bad, i meant i have only got a full turbo back exhaust
  15. vq35de - redbook says 206kw with a curb weight of 1548kgs (2004 model) (1450kgs if you go a 2002 track model) also a bit newer so you'd expect a few more ponies to be left in the paddock think of it as a sports-wagon, bit of power bit of practicality all fun
  16. if the o2 sensor does nothing or its still bad afterwards check: coolant temp sensor - the 2wire one, can be replaced with any of the same colour cam timing - my 32 was a tooth out, didn't realise and wondered my the rb20 was such a pos, the ppl i sold it to worked it out and it goes wicked sick now also, i think i got about 700 out of a tank once with my turbo brick, but my tank holds about 65 litres just change the motor for an rb25neo
  17. possibly, the solder joints can break and give a dodgy connection some time with a soldering iron will fix it tho http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/topic/113284-fixing-your-rb26-afms/
  18. i'd throw some of the gulf western synx-3000 in a lot of ppl hate GW oils but few actaully run them the main things are, they are cheap, they work and they are high in detergents how many kms are actually on this thing? if they are over about 150,000kms you could think about flushing it out with the $13 GW stuff you might also want to pick up one of the filters with magnets in them, even non metallic particles can become magnitised in the oil due to friction and shit, so it would be a bit of added insurance good luck with it and i hope it all goes well for you!
  19. pretty sure its actually 1650kgs for comparison, mine rs4s is a little quicker than a 350z with just a full turbo back exhaust
  20. r33 gtst you can also get them with the auto trans coolers still in them about $200 from the ebay, mine is a koyorad branded one http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/110712146710?ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1439.l2649#ht_1998wt_1141 thats the one i got, but its for a manual
  21. so a bit like what these guys make http://www.300zx.com.au/pricelists/pricelist_gtrbrakes.htm but with 14mm bolts for s2 stageas
  22. when i had my turbo out it had a black compressor wheel pretty sure thats the nylon front wheel that all s2's and r34's should have yours have have had a turbo swap at some point in its life
  23. don't really want to mess around with bleed valves will be stock or an ebc i think
