  1. Visited the SA GW distributor at Para Hills today and picked up 4x 5L bottles of S 6000, still have 25 bottles left there. Interested to see how it goes (been using Motul 8100) when I do a complete flush in the coming months (the whole 10litres out of the oil cooler + lines etc)
  2. My 32 GTR is 0.44 volts closed, 3.x volts WOT. Every car's TPS voltage will differ, it's normal.
  3. Should really be seeing about 12.6v, if it's down to 12 it might not have the CCA to crank the engine anymore.
  4. If anyone is looking for Sougi S 6000 here in SA, the distributor in Para Hills has 12 bottles left when I called Thursday ($60 per bottle), PM me if you want their contact details.
  5. You would only use a -w60 hot rating if it has serious oil blowby issues at the track
  6. People overfill anyway, 700ml is nothing too worry about.. people put 6l in their track cars where 4.5l is specified in the workshop manual
  7. Anyone know where to find Suigi S 6000 here in SA?
  8. 6litres is quite alot for the stock sump, the low pressure could be the result of windage by the crank hitting the oil causing the oil pump to suck air instead of oil
  9. Temp sensor for the cat convter
  10. Not supposed to use Shockproof in LSDs, it doesn't have the LSD additive.. I've heard of GTR LSDs locking up in low speed situations like around roundabouts with shockproof in them, I run Redline 75w90 gearoil in my rear factory LSD and don't have the issues you speak of.
  11. Check in cabin fuses near drivers side knee area
  12. Just be mindful about the O2 sensor types, R32 GTRs use a Titania based sensor, while 33's and 34s use a Zirconia based sensor, you can't use a Zirconia based sensor on the R32 GTR ecu (well you can, but it won't work as well).
  13. Comes on at about 500c, just a warning not to park your car on grass as it the grass will catch fire.
  14. Neons might have drawn too much power and burnt out the wiring (100w+?), should have ran inline fuses to the boost controller and neons
  15. Yes you will need a tune, you can't just change to bigger injectors and expect the stock ECU to work fine, just get Nistune www.nistune.com , works out cheaper than getting remaps, and at least you could get away with resizing your injectors without a new tune.
  16. ^1+ Try another ignitor, dodgy ones play up when they get hot, and check the black wire that comes off the loom that plugs into the ignitor is well grounded.
  17. RB20 ECU expects high impedance injectors, RB26 injectors are low impedance, so yes you need the resistor pack. Unless the AP Engineering has some sort of switch to switch between high/low impedance, but I doubt it (I've only ever heard of it the switch with Megasquirt ecus)
  18. What boost controller?
  19. I've heard of injectors leaking out the plug itself, are they all leaking?
  20. There's no special measures with maintaining a GTR, just need to use decent fluids, and coolant, no cheap stuff. Oil changed regularly (and overfilled where appropriate) etc. It's not until you start taking it to the track that preventative maintenance is more extreme.
  21. Behind the glovebox I beleive
  22. ^^ +1 vac line, maybe you pulled too hard on the rubber vac line and disconnected the end thats in the enginebay.. though you would have a noticle vacuum leak and hear hissing in the enginebay
  23. Mine's chips are also tuned for 100RON
  24. Use the shroud, I've read people have switched to twin thermo fans and it just didnt compare to the factory viscous fan + shroud
  25. Interested in a full day of grip, thought you would be limited to 10 with the slip?
