  1. If anyone missed out and wants another one i also have one for sale same price in melb. PM for details
  2. $100 for the ECU talk??
  3. I have the exact same on mine minus the manifold and external gate and easily makes 260rwkw and could probably go a little more if needed. On a 25 mine hits full boost (15psi) by 3100rpm Bargain price!!!
  4. Does anyone see a problem with running heat wrap on the dump??
  5. Shit that is a high rate. So did you actually ask them the real reason why your car made no [power and it took so long to fix??
  6. Let him do what he wants......get it tuned somewhere else after u pick it up!!!! You might find that other places dont charge very much for a tune!!!
  7. I have a fairly small front mount and it sits higher off the ground than a lot of ones you see around and on the dyno it was still getting some heat soak at low power levels. I trimmed the bar a bit and moved the plate up so the bolts go through the centre of it rather than on top (exposed an area half the size of the number plate) and it now doesnt get the same heat soak.
  8. Why would the car start but make little power with the battery lead off? I have had a lead come off while driving and done nothing.....alternator!
  9. Gee how my dyno time did you get for $1100??

    Bp Ultimate..

Cars not designed to run on high octane fuel and not TUNED to run on that fuel can run better on lower grade fuels. Why is this so hard to beleive. I think the marketing guys at the petrol companies have done a great job convincing ppl to run fuels they dont need.

If you car has been tuned to run 98 then fill up with any 98. United 98 is fine!!!!
  12. My return flow blitz will fit without modding the reo!!!!! Although i have trimmed to allow better air flow.
  13. ^^^^^Have you seen what else they have run on the stock bottom end. There is a recent post by rips in the rb30 section. A built standard bottom end will handle that with some mods. quote from rips I can also vouch for stock RB30 cranks to 9000rpm 1000+hp, and stock RB30, pistons and rods to 8000rpm and over 500rwkw in a track car without problems, although I usually tell my customers 7200rpm, 1.5 bar 400rwkw. If have money to burn.....
  14. So for us people with standard cams and a slightly bigger turbo what rpm should we hace it set to??
  15. How much power are you after? Do you really need forgies? I would personally buy the RIPS standard RB30 for AU$3300 or spend $4300 with the head. They can probably beef it up a little if you want and will cost u a lot less than your quoted $8000+
  16. Just get a gq patrol. I have had mine for 4 years now and i havent had to spend a cent on it yet!!!! So dam strong, cheap to run on gas and goes everywhere with only 33" mud tyres!!! For 10g u could pick a highly moded one or just get one for 6k and spend the rest on a small lift kit, tyres and a winch.....endless fun!!!!!
  17. Mine used to do it after warm up and it was o2 sensor!
  18. BUMP!!!!! Still after one!!

    Rb Fan Hub

Go to toyota and buy 2 tubes of silicon oil ($10) Pull your fan off and drill 2 holes in the meaty part of the aluminium. Squeeze oil into hub (1 hole is to let air out) until it is full. Spin the hub a few times to get any air pockets out. Seal both holes with a couple of screws and teflon tape (white stuff plumbers use) Reattach fan to car. Drive!!! Yes this works. Have done it on many nissan patrols (same fan) and on my r33. This will not lock up the fan!!! It will still disengage when the engine is cool. Cheers JAMES
  20. I have a stock cooler and an r34 cooler if you want to buy one. What other mods do u have?? You may only need the r34 smic
  21. Was there any difference in power between the tunes? Have you filled up with 98 since when 100 wasn't available?
  22. Glad i have a return flow intercooler!!
  23. So has anyone had a retune with the united 100 and compared it to united 98?? I have 2 servos near me that sell it and i wouldnt mind using it. It sells for the same price as 98
  24. Overheating is also caused by a worn clutch fan. These can be refilled with silicon oil for around $10 or bought new for $300....i prefered the $10 option.
