  1. I dont think its outrageous but I didnt install it on mine when the guys from Xanavi came to WA cause I hardly ever use sat-nav. Very worth while for the V36 Gen 1 guys since they will swap the screen and back end to the newer hardware too
  2. Ive personally heard Berk HFC being too thinny and causing rasp...I would go with FI HFC or Resonated HFC if you have the extra dime. I personally have Stillen HFC on mine. Both of the Stillen and FI have magnaflow core and both works very well. I went with Stillen cause there was an 8 week wait for the FI when I was looking. As for intakes, I have Stillen Gen 3 CAI with the dry filters. Their initial design came with K&N wet filters but now they sell them with dry filters as well. Love the sound of them
  3. So its the same as the other guy from before.
  4. I think that was for the russian guys. I just texted Alex and he said he is still trying to come up with something for the 2007-2009 cars which will require some hardware changes. At this point of time he doesn't know how much it'll cost or when they will have a product.
  5. If he's doing the same things the Russians are doing then the earlier models need to have some hardware changes before the firmware can be flashed to the English version.
  6. You might have better chance of asking this on myg37 forums.
  7. For CAI just do some research on myg37 or z forums. There were a few comprehensive tests done and only a few gave power while others made some losses. If you're just after noise then you're all good to go.
  8. I don't think this is about common sense. It's more of the OP stated that he found specific wipers that he wants and even have the sizes. He then continued to ask if he can get them here as he doesn't want to pay for shipping. So...has he checked the shops in Australia? If he did he would find that they sell the sizes he is looking for. Things like wiper blades are not car specific. And like a few others that have mentioned, you can just get the rubber fillings and cut them if its too long. If he was asking which BRANDS he should get and where's the best place to get em at a reasonable price then he would get really good answers.
  9. By 2007 370GT I assume you have a coupe? Then yes those will fit. V36 platform consists of 2006-2008 V36 350GT / Infiniti 2007-2008 G35S (Sedan) 2009 V36 370GT Sedan / Infiniti G37 Sedans Coupes were 2007 to present. Theres a facelift or two in 2009 and 2010 where the front bumper and grille was changed. Performance mods are mostly the same throughout, just check for engine compatibility.... Aesthetic mods, anything front bumper and attachments you'll need to really careful as there was facelifts and etc. Interior changed as well in some areas. Back bumper etc remained the same. Suspension and brakes all the same. I'm sure there's things I missed out but someone else can chime in.
  10. $2,200? what the....that's really good price! Been lusting after a set for so long.
  11. But of course =) swearing with class haha
  12. Maybe he is in his 50s...just really vulgar...who knows. Nothing special. Any wipers with right length will do. At least the OP did his own research into what length he needed. Funny thing about his post is that he even found a set that he liked from the US but didn't want to get it due to cost. And he couldn't just find it at his local shops.
  13. You'd be surprised that there are a lot of people who never looked into anything before posting. Now saying OP did it. And your responds isn't helpful either. Anyway I personally order mine from UK. Wiperblades.co.uk Reason being the Bosch ones I can get from there lasts me a year to 18 months before it starts streaking. Wiper blades that I can get in Perth so far doesn't last me very long. And they aren't too cheap either. I bought two sets (Bosch Aerotwin), one for v35 one for v36 and I paid around $50 for each set. I paid around the same for a locally sourced set. So it's really up to you where you want to buy them from and the quality of what you want to pay for. Usa is cheaper but the postage seems to be overkill. UK more expensive per item but postage is cheaper. UK overall comes to be cheaper for me.
  14. This thread has predominantly m35s v35s and v36s and hence my statement. But thanks for clearing it up more
  15. Aren't all VQ's electronic throttle? I know VQ35HR and VQ37VHR are electronic.......
  16. Try looking for 3m mats....i think they make them for the specific car or you can send in your own measurements. They are heavy duty, all season and traps dirt, sand etc for easy cleaning as well.
  17. And if you're going to get aftermarket speakers, you should get an amp with that. So front and rear speakers with an accompanying 4chn amp. Then a mono amp with the sub. This may be my personal preference but if you're doing all this make sure you get the signal at the head unit for the cleanest sound. However from my experience the signal is shit anyway so get an Addison bit ten to clean the signal up and with that a signal booster to boost the sub signal. Again this is my opinion, I'm probably a snob when it comes to sound quality. Do what you think suits your taste in quality. But definitely if you're looking at oem Bose, just go aftermarket right away.
  18. You are better off getting an aftermarket system into the car over the Bose system. It does not sound Bose at all and is very low quality in terms of sound. However for OEM it is okay-ish
  19. Yes if they are 9.5 and 10.5 they are definitely Nismo...maybe he doesnt know he has them
  20. Could also be under the glove box infront of the passenger seat or in the boot
  21. Same problem every time I wash the car unless I drive it out for a round immediately after washing the car to dry the brakes/rotors out a little.
  22. Ah right....thought the VQ35HR and VQ37VHR headers are around the same. Was told the 35HR OEM headers are pretty much equal length and no point of changing them out... 35DE on the other hand does not have equal length from factory so changing it may give some gain.
  23. Headers from the 3.5L or 3.7L Scotty? Are they the same? Got some conflicting information regarding them and wanted to have a clearer picture.
  24. Yes, just need all the bolts and screws "hardware" to put them on.
