  1. I thought there was minimum thicknesses (that is thicker than glass) you had to run under cams on safty grounds? I can't remember what it is though
  2. I never recieved a PM, I've cleared my box out now
  3. Why do you want to go polycarbonate? Nissan glass is lighter than poly in most cases.
  4. Here is the Mt Arrowsmith stage
  5. What did it do to the rotors?
  6. haha I just saw that on FB.
  7. If you are going to the pits/inspection you don't need a permit. But you do need to be booked in, and heading the most direct route there.
  8. They will probably just put cwest stickers over the top of the voltex ones.
  9. Looks like I was just unlucky with the cam. But there is not shit through the engine, cam cap is fine, and valves appear to be fine!
  10. The DR30 has a similar design to the 1600 and Bluebird as far as i know, heaps of dynamic camber and bump steer. I enquired to Benson about putting a R32-4 rear end in. And it needs to still be a semi trailing rear end, as it needs to be the same 'type' (live axle, semi trailing, multilink). With the rules you can fix it, but it will need a bit of thought and designing. E30 bimmers, and the 911 RS's seem to be fine with semi trailing.
  11. I was only watching the 2001 tape the other night, and saw the DR30. I was extracing infomation from those in the know at the targa bar on sun night, to fix the rear end on a DR30.
  12. Do you know why yours broke Duncan? I've got another head, so more than likely i'll just use that.
  13. not sure yet, got to pull it all down and see if any fine particlies from the cam casting have been through the engine, and to see if a valve and piston have had a party
  14. Well I've found the problem with the engine. I snapped the exhaust cam, so the last 3 valves were doing nothing
  15. At least this year cars were getting stroke tested mid event, it's a move in the right direction. But Rex's ABS has been an ongoing issue for 3 years now
  16. I started my car 1-2 months after wooster ran his car in classic, then we were kicked out, and ABS was restricted to cars that it was avaliable on when new. Most peoples (and mine) guess is that Rex complained that a cheap datsun was beating his $300,000 Porsche. There was talk that there is external video evidance of Rex's wheels doing the ABS shuffle this year. A journo I was talking to, said he was talking to another compeditor about my car and the position I was in, in a cheap 2wd. And they responded by telling him how my car is a huge $$ car and has had heeeeeaps of development. I had to laugh considering I'd run on one of the smallest budgets in EM, if not the field.
  17. c'mon a 300zx need a engine out every stage. The penske's are upside down (shaft at the bottom), and the remote canisters are under the boot and bonnet (high and low speed bump), so the bump is super easy. Rebound is on the bottom of the shock, and required laying on the ground. But I didn't change the rebound very often.
  18. did it have teh fluttaz with full leb spec?
  19. moar stages! The Sideling in the wet.
  20. another stage, Roseberry fastest EM car
  21. The turbine sizes are above, just in a different colour for some reason? Idealy i'd like a OP6 housing to match my highflow, so I can back to back test them. We can change gears and diffs, just needs to fit into the stock housings. I wouldn't want any lower than a 4.3 diff anyway because of the high speed stages.
  22. Depending on the exchange rate, and who you get to make the top mounts and modify the lower mounts. Between 5-10k, I got lucky that the exchange rate came good when it did.
