  1. get a hd set top box you hobo
  2. I can think of one... Greg 'i believe I can fly' Garwood. But that is 1 in 7+ years, which equates to 1 in 3000+ cars. But still speed, limits are no good. And I've never seen anyone 'feeding the chickens'...not even the classics, which apparently have 80l sumps to drop oil over the entire length of a stage. anyway Targa Adelaide is on this weekend, I'll be interested to see how Weeks old lambo goes against the Super Spagetti
  3. so the AIM dash doesn't have external alarm option?? Can't you use a pwm on the motec to turn on a light/buzzer under certain conditions? Just seems like it would be a heap of wiring to have the inputs going to 2 devices. I know I can do this with my IQ3 dash
  4. you still going ahead with the chook cooker?
  5. That Viper was on my105...probably a bit cheaper now
  6. ohhh yeah got a photo in speedhunters. http://www.speedhunters.com/2012/08/back_in_the_swing/ in other news the engine is almost back together, and ready to put back in the car
  7. I can just see jean todt putting on a flat cap and creating the fia time attack series
  8. if it's not balls deep, it's not deep enough!
  9. so the pressure drop wasn't just the sensor? it was really dropping pressure like that?
  10. Targa is $1000 to protest. I think some of the money to to cover work to strip the car down if needed.
  11. Pre-event scruteneering is for safety only, 99% of the time. eligibly checking is done after the event has finished. no point checking 100 cars, when only 10 will be in a position that needs to be checked
  12. where was the fernandez super 4 speed coona? Last I read they were going to be 110% there
  13. far out that nemo footage highlights how bad the suspension is on the jap cars! they would be upside down if they attacked the curbs like that
  14. pics or it didn't happen!!
  15. I think Pirelli changed the compound too. The bad press is starting to add up.
  16. what does a new loom set you back?
  17. I'd recommend not to drive it. I blew mine doing recce for Targa, and had to drive it ~200km home (i was in the middle of bumf**k nowhere, didn't really have a choice) . When I pulled the turbo off, there was oil everywhere through the pipes, but luckily for my the compressor wheels just bent round instead of brake/file. But it's less than ideal to put oil all through your IC and pipework. Also you will struggle to get up any hill, or pull out into traffic. My Turbo is currently at hypergear getting the smallest highflow avaliable.
  18. I think all pro cars bar the cyber evo have pretty extensive cages. But it wouldn't be pretty if the cyber car went in hard
  19. Yeah I saw the clip of that evo, I recon the driver was sitting a fair bit higher when he got back to the pits. I don't think scrutineers are expected to be structural engineers, only the check basic safety (seates bolted in, fire supression...etc)
  20. Does this mean AJ is going to do the interviews in Aus next year, and butcher everyone's name?
  21. good to see your ok. I remember the car from Targa Tas, it was a well put together piece of gear. Youtube for your convenience
  22. This used to be a great track, but that bloody tilk ruined it!
  23. remember to remove the spring out of the valve, otherwise it won't drain back.
  24. It's not in Hobart, but http://www.kudosmotorsports.com is the cheapest place for them. It's where I've bought all of mine from.
  25. You still planning on coming down and playing in the trees of tassie
