  1. Hey mate, I know we spoke about this at the meet; if you need a hand, I'll help you out. I fitted mine, and I'm not dead yet. Might take me a little while to remember it all, but we should be able to get it sorted. I'm not sure what time you have free; maybe let me know what works for you, and we'll make it happen. What's the worst that could happen?
  2. +1 Did this when I was bleeding my cooling system for the new rad; fan will cut in & out with the Air-con compressor.
  3. If it's wired wrong; it will just go the wrong way, and blow air forwards. Did you set the climate control to 32deg? it will cycle on & off, thenyou'll be able to see which way it's going.
  4. Hmm, I don't think it's a leak; I'm going to get it on the hoist and stall it up, we should definitely be able to see/hear a leak if there is one. Frankly, I'd be happy to stay with the stocker; but who's to say how long a second hand one will last? Are you talking about the one you were running on yours in between setups? Feel free to PM me if you have time mate; it might be a viable option.
  5. Thanks for the suggestion mate, I know exactly the noise you're talking about Theo; but this is definitely appears boost related. Basically as soon as it goes positive manifold pressure; the whine starts. It overlays the normal whine that the turbo has.
  6. That's what the track is for...
  7. Go for handling, and for f**k's sake; do something with the brakes! They're woeful. Re bush the whole damn thing if you can; you won't regret it. Have fun, they're a great workhorse. Mine did over 500,000km on it's original engine; and was still going strong when I sold it. Never used a drop of oil, or let me down once in 10 years of ownership.
  8. Good to hear your hard work with gaskets & studs has paid off; I'm assuming you had an opportunity to fit the shorter geared front diff at the same time. 310kw's at all 4 is a great result; you must be stoked!
  9. Probably not; been talking with Craig, and I'll be going with something that he's recommending. He's driven a lot of different combinations, built by a bunch of turbo builders; so I trust his judgement. It has a very strange whine emanating from it now; and that's in addition to the standard whine. Still boosting fine, and doesn't seem to be rubbing; but who know's how long that will last. Had to happen eventually; I reckon it's been living borrowed time for a while now. I'm currently at 103,000km (plus whatever the mandatory haircut adds) so it's done ok. Unfortunately, I don't think I'll be joining the powah war. I really want to keep the response close to the stocker; so it's going to be small. The cruise the other night just reinforced to me that I don't want a lagmaster; it's really nice with the handling it has, it's devastating point to point on a windy road. I don't want to lose that; I just want to have the really good midrange of the stocker with maybe a bit of potential down the track for a handful of extra KW's IF I choose to go a bit more boost and aftermarket management. That's still a way down the track (if at all) and I don't want to regret going too big in the interim. I have a 170rwhp, 300km/h bike that makes any car look stupid (does 164km/h in first gear), so I don't need the car for my speed fix. I've heard bad things about that workshop too; have you seen the bloke who runs it?
  10. This weeks Stagea related activity appears to have been borking my turbo. Seems last weekend's cruise was a bit too much. Weird; because I was taking it easy too... Onward & upward eh?
  11. +1 for colour coded bars. Also, keep the exhaust at 2 1/4"; 2 1/2 is too droney. Doesn't make a difference to power anyway.
  12. Looks comfy in there mate! Some black silicone joiners, some satin black paint; factory spec.
  13. I think I Theo'd you the other night; and then checked myself later.

  15. Do it; I dare you...
  16. Their head office is not far from me; so it was at their main warehouse. I'm sure you'll be able to get them from an oil wholesaler though.
  17. I can get a price for that, I'm possibly going to get one of that too; I reckon it might be a bit over $100.
  18. Lol, you've only got to drop below 60km/h. Wheels gone, on bricks, and your dog has an uncomfortable look on his face.... Bought mine a 20lt drum of Syn X6000 today.
  19. Why don't you just let her sit on the seat? The roof rack is a brilliant idea though; she can't see the speedo, she can't change the radio station, and if you wind up the window, you won't hear her anyway. I don't think I could trick my missus into getting up there; she'd know I was up to something for sure.

    Buyer Beware

What a rotten mess BSA has left you in Risking; using your reputation to line his pockets, and leaving you looking like the bad guy to the people he has screwed over. To the people who have been dudded; It's pretty shit, but you can't really expect Risking to clean up a mess he never made. That said, it would probably be worth your while to use a guy like him or ISL33P to do your fab work; these are true pro's which is easy to see from the work they do, and their happy customers. Quality ALWAYS costs, and it sucks when people find out this way. Move forward, take action against BSA, he's the bad guy here. Then, if you can, pick up the pieces and use a pro do do your fab in future.
  21. Glad you're happy with it Gaz! Was great to catch up have a chat at the cruise mate, your young bloke did very well to last that long; asleep in the car on the way home?
  22. Awesome! I like soft cheeses, and red wine. I can't freakin' wait!
