  1. I'd be interested to see it. If it's rated to 2000kg; there should definitely be some visible structure under the boot area, otherwise it's not really going to be much better than the Fastfit bar.
  2. Nice work Alex, the car just keeps getting better! It's gonna look sweeeeeet!
  3. Silver C34 going through Hartley toward Lithgow on GWH, while a mate & I were having a feed at the Lolly shop cafe; getting ready to ride MTB's back to the top of Mt Victoria. I think I saw you heading down the mountain while we were on the way up.
  4. Hey mystery_kid; All of the Whiteline bars come with everything needed to mount them; if they require a different link (which the blade adjustable bars do); it comes in the kit. Your front links will work with the blade adjustable bar ; I've fitted several sets to R34's without issue. The fixed position rear Whiteline bars retain the OEM link rod bush arrangement. The blade adjustable rears are different. The upgraded ball jointed links are not mandatory; but with the age of the gear you're running there is a definite improvement to be had by upgrading. I can also supply OEM style replacement links if finances don't run to the Heavy Duty ones. For a street driven car; the 27mm front bar is possibly a bit big; it's recommended for competition use only. I've had really good feedback from people using the 24mm front, 22mm rear; but it's a personal thing. A really heavy front bar will promote understeer, which is not ideal. I am able do individual buys on any Whiteline Bars, or alignment products, if you're keen feel free to PM me; I've helped out stacks of people on this forum with bars. Cheers, Dale.
  5. When I read the OP's original post it says ANY feedback; not just people who are interested in promoting the product. The key to a balanced argument is both opposing viewpoints; not just the one that suits one side. I had a relevant viewpoint, so I raised it. In any case; we seem to be on the same side of the argument, just coming from slightly different positions. As I said previously; I'm not anti-vitamim, but there is much more effective treatments if people take the time to target their issue and take the proper doses of the vitamins they actually need. My missus was recently suffering from the same deficiency GTST mentioned; but I'm helping her treat it; day by day... Her skin is; well... and her hair; errr...

  7. That's it hey; these cars are covered in them; and they'll always break when you don't have a spare...
  8. So hang on, you're the only one that's permitted to have an opinion? What is your agenda? Hipocrisy much? You don't need to "study med, anatomy, nutrition, pharmacology & bio-molecular chemistry" to have a basic grasp of this stuff; these multi-vitamin products are NOT medicinal, this is why Swisse were slapped on the wrist for their spurious advertising claims. If they were actual medications, they would have actual medical data and multiple years of clinical trials to back them. They don't. I'm not anti-vitamin, but as GTST said; if you have a vitamin/mineral deficiency; target it PROPERLY, rather than taking a bunch of minute doses in one tablet. Link to article; http://www.perthnow....c-1226296183414 "Swisse did not provide evidence to support many claims but did present one report to the panel that proved the Women's Ultivite product helped improve symptoms of pre-menstrual syndrome by 50 per cent. However, the same study indicated that a non-active placebo also improved symptoms by 28 per cent." And that's just one of their "Products"...
  9. Easy as guys, I got sick of paying $3 per clip from Nissan, so I bought a bag of 30; cost about $12 delivered. No more rip offs.
  10. As Cam said; it can be a bit of a faff. It took me a few goes to get the timing right; be patient and try again.
  11. These will do, but there are sometimes cheaper options. http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/20x-Honda-Plastic-Rivet-Retainer-Bumper-Trim-Clips-8mm-10mm-Civic-Accord-/280810235121?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item41619824f1#ht_1387wt_1037
  12. After seeing how many people I know made it to dawn services today; I feel a bit hopeless. At the going down of the sun, and in the morning; we will remember them.
  13. Dear Managment; Lol at salary.
  14. Nope; mine is tucked up in the garage while I prep my bike for tomorrows Eastern Creek track (boat) day. Hopefully the rain pisses off soon.
  15. They were also recently ordered by the TGA to stop making false claims regarding the efficacy of their products. /Snake oil.
  16. It's interesting that you're arguing with the guy who has possibly the best performing tyres on his car... I do agree with you, but; Leon's not saying " cheap it up", he's saying there's point that you're needlessly spending money. Does the car really need $800 a corner Pirelli P-Zero's or $500 a corner Continentals, when the mid range performance tyre is MILES better than what Joe Average is running and a hell of a lot better than the "budget" rubber. Buy the best tyres you can afford, and you'll rarely go wrong. I couldn't agree more with this though; The wreckers are full of nice cars with long lasting tyres.
  17. Lol @ Cranky Chair Alex! Unfortunately I'm the only fitter on tomorrow, so it's possible that they might notice if I'm not there. I'll just have to be extra cranky...
  18. Have fun guys; drive safe and take plenty of pics please?
  19. $365 each? Surely a mistype! 520 is an unbelievably hard tyre mate.
  20. When I did mine; it was doing a couple of odd things. When rolling to a stop or idling along in traffic; it would idle too high, and fight you on the brake until stationary. Then the idle would drop, but not to 650rpm. When starting; it would do a funny little hiccup, as if the fuel pump hadn't primed properly; then the idle would settle; again not at 650rpm, normally a bit higher. When I opened it up; I was quite disappointed. I expected it to be absolutely filthy, as most other people had discovered. Still, I flushed it clean, and I too lost the painted on coating at the sides of the throttle plate. It obviously worked though; when I refitted it, I had no more histrionics or issues, and it definitely idled higher. A quick Idle re-learn; bang on 650rpm, everytime. The coating is this stuff apparently; http://www.dowcorning.com/applications/search/default.aspx?R=740EN
  21. Bugger! Try advertising in the V35 section; there's a few guys with VQ25's in there, you might have a win.
  22. Blah, blah, blah...

  23. The Neo does look like a good option.
  24. No, about 1/2 an hour with a piece of 3mm alloy; drill holes for mounting screws, and notch out a hole for the camera with a little coping saw. Took longer for the paint to dry, than it did to make.
  25. I used one of these; http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/150667416826?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1423.l2649 Although, they were only $29 when I bought mine. I removed one numberplate light & made up a plate for it to fit into. It's wireless, but it also comes with a cable if you choose to go that way. It's very stealthy, against my Black paint; you can hardly see it. I've still go one wiring connection to make since Andy65b modded the factory tuner for me, so I'm not sure how well it works; but it should be fine.
