  1. Ahh, just heaps of awesome wagon action; hard to explain, coupe owners wouldn't understand... What about you Aaron?
  2. Try lubricating your Sway bar "D" and link rod bushes.
  3. This one seem to get around a bit; I saw it go past my work the other day.
  4. Just go to you local Nissan dealer; provide your VIN; and get them to source the clips. That's the easy way. If you want to do some detective work; there are stacks of body clips on Ebay; you just need to look for the ones that look like your clips. It can take a while; but I found the clips I needed for my car, a bag of 30 for $10 delivered. Nissan were charging $2.70 PER CLIP.
  5. Suction cup dent removal is backyard stuff. Not saying it doesn't work on some dents, mind you. Most PDR is done with specialised tools from behind the dent; you wouldn't believe the places these guys can get to. I have had dents removed from a bonnet and roof where the bracing covered the area. If the paint is cracked; PDR will sometimes lift the paint, especially if there is a crease. And of course; the paint would still have to be repaired.
  6. No problem Nick; look forward to hearing from you.
  7. You do understand that the calipers used on an R32 GTR ARE NOT the same as as an R32 GTR V Spec? These adaptor will only work with R32 GTS or 200SX Calipers; the ones that go with a 280mm x 30mm rotor. This is how you get to a 324mm rotor. These brackets are designed to work with a 324mm x 30mm 350Z Brembo rotor; the offset of the GTR Brembo 324mm x 30mm rotor is unsuitable, and also more expensive. Applying the same dimensions (a 44mm dia increase) using an R32 GTR Caliper (which uses a 296mm x 32mm rotor) ; you end up with a 340mm rotor. This is the last post I will make on the subject; You can argue if you like, you can even go and buy the brackets. In fact, I encourage you to do so. You will then discover that; surprise surprise, they don't fit. I have no problem with cheap, effective improvements, but this will not be one.
  8. They won't be a straight bolt up on an R32 GTR; you'll need a 340mm rotor.
  9. Spotted a white m35 on Talavera rd in Macquarie park about 30 mins ago. Aero front bar, std rear.
  10. I received one of those when I bought my last filter. Definitely up for a Stagea meet.
  11. If you have to repaint anyway; PDR is a bit pointless. As r31slpr said; any decent panel shop will spot weld little copper pins and pull the dent with a slide hammer without having to drill holes. If your friend is the perfectionist you say he is; leave it to him and his proffesional expertise. $400 doesn't sound too bad to pull a dent and respray a roof from my experience.
  12. Good to hear your course is going well Brendan, was a gutsy move to go and do something completely different. Best of luck mate; amazing how much easier it is to knuckle down & do the study when you actually enjoy the subject matter. As for your lines; the last ADR approved braided lines I had made; had a short rubber sleeve crimped into the swage; to prevent exactly what you're talking about. Do you have an OEM to use as a sample?
  13. Thanks Syd, I'm on the case at present. I loaned my spares to another member, so I'm all out ATM, but I'll try to track down some spares.
  14. Is this the one you use? http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Daos-Place-exhaust-muffler-heat-shield-mat-stick-on-200mm-x-360mm-MS1-/170780166483?pt=AU_Motorcycle_Parts_Accessories&hash=item27c34a8953
  15. Congrats on the tune; as you say, it's less about the number, and more about how it drives. It was incredibly humid today, and with the temp it's probably not too surprising. At only 4 psi; I reckon you'd be happy with that.
  16. I can help you out with that. Are you looking to upgrade your Sway Bars, or just stick with the OEM stuff? Feel free to PM me and I can let you know what's on offer for the NM35. Cheers, Dale.
  17. 245/45/18 is OEM VE Commodore sizing; plenty of reasonably priced choices in that size.
  18. Good luck with the tune today Alex. 225rwkw.
  19. Loving the Black M35; nice!
  20. Ah well, hopefully it's not too much of a problem. Lol, yeah; I know what you mean, they'll still be better than the worn out OEM ones, so that's a win.
  21. If they can get the offset caster version, I'd be getting that one. The difference in the way the car will handle absolutely beggars belief. Say goodbye to understeer in all but the most extreme conditions. If your rear tyres are above the treadwear markers; they shouldn't be able to query it. I'm not sure if the old "tread across70% of the tyre"rule still applies; that's how semi slick tyres with untreaded shoulders normally get through.
  22. Ah, ok, I thought that was his sons Nur. Still ain't a bad garage pic. http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/topic/392972-gtrs-running-19-inch-wheels/page__view__findpost__p__6251316
  23. Every time I Iook at Terry's garage pic it makes me happy, then a bit sad inside.
  24. Someone to help you work on the car. Congrats mate.
  25. Good call mate; never even occurred to me. I was thinking about the OP's car.
