  1. I'd love to see some DTM action out here; too bad we don't really have the money, or the audiences to support these amazing cars. I don't really like the idea of "silhouette" racing; which is what I'm assuming the COTF will be. Why put a badge on it at all if they're all going to be the same under the skin.
  2. Nor do they produce a lame pushrod V8 to use in whatever car races. Are they going to have to build a dumbed down, pushrod engine like Toyota had to when they started competing in NASCAR/Truck racing, or will they have to use an existing smaller capacity engine, with a stupidly low rev limit or intake restrictors? That will ensure "Parity"
  3. Nothing but the best from the Czech Republic.
  4. Now with Krosno?
  5. I know a guy that does competition coatings; you could always go that way?
  6. That HKS bracket is now worth huge dollars. It might be worth tracking down some stainless cable ties, http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/20-STAINLESS-STEEL-THERMAL-CABLE-TIES-35-CM-EXTRACTORS-DUMP-PIPE-/220948422796?pt=AU_Car_Parts_Accessories&hash=item33718d608c#ht_500wt_1287 or tie wiring the heat shielding around the cables running near the exhaust housing and under the wastegate pipework. Once you get on the dyno; I don't think they'll last long. Even if they don't melt, they'll go brittle and crack off in no time.
  7. Nice! LSD, with no drunk guy in the boot; steering the back wheels.
  8. Also, if you don't have HICAS; you won't have LSD.
  9. Mine finds whales; which is helpful when driving in the mountains... Rather ironically, last time I was in Kiama, it said I was on a mountain.
  10. On the mountains, all the Unmarked cars seem to be VE SS Commodores, rather than XR's and AFAIK, HWP only use Typhoons. Also, I'm sure NSW Police vehicles have to be registered in NSW. Definitely wouldn't turn their lights off; they'd be in a world of trouble if a member of the public reported something like that. Sounds like you've just stumbled on a giant f**kwit, there's plenty of them around. It might even be worth reporting it to the Richmond LAC; I'm sure they'd be interested to know what's going on within their area.
  11. Search "m35 ball joint"; 8 results. This one is the second one; http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/topic/382006-m35-front-ball-joints/page__p__6130708__hl__m35+ball+joint__fromsearch__1#entry6130708 Do you want me to paraphrase it, so we don't waste any of your precious time? You're obviously muuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuch too important to make any kind of actual effort to benefit yourself. Don't be such a farkin' lazy arse for f**ks sake.
  12. Almost certainly would be easier; but imagine the sense of achievement you'll feel once you've mastered the forum search function. Ten thousand threads about the same topic doesn't make the forum very productive, so search first.
  13. You can buy all the shims and springs on eBay, I'll post a link in the morning.
  14. The ad say pods are $200. The wheels are $2800.
  15. I know, I'm sorry. Please come back UNDR8ED; all is forgiven. Please share your boundless knowledge of how to use unnecessary capitalisation and numerals within words to convey your vast wisdom; we are lost, and have much to learn.
  16. Yep, or a screw or nail. Check each tyre carefully.
  17. I think it was 10 or 12mm long. I don't care; we weren't anywhere near my house, and anyway, it's been raining for about 400 years in Sydney; my house is underwater.
  18. Nice work on the Airbag bolts; mine destroyed the first Torx bit that I tried. Had to actually go & buy a decent one. Leons cruise is awesome, and I posted some pics on the "Awesome" forum of where I picked up certain wires that might be of help to you. Not sure about the press; I think Craig just downs a protein shake and uses his powerful right hand to ram them in.
  19. You'd have to ask Craig; he had them pre prepared when I arrived. It was just like a formula one pit stop; up, wheels off, rattle guns etc. But without the hot chicks in big sunnies, and small dresses. And more of me hitting myself in the mouth with a car wheel.
  20. Generally got in the way while Craig fitted a nice new set of Pianos to my front end. Glad my car never went near snow; everything came apart easily, and the pianos went in with out a hitch. Also had a bit of a nibble on my wheel; yummy.
  21. Don't let the door hit ya where the good son of rajab split ya.
  22. I have a set taking up space in my shed if you're interested. Rubber is worn, might not be suitable for you. Happy to PM pics if you like. Based in the Blue Mountains, but I get around .
  23. Eh? I was getting in my car long before you arrived... Looks like maybe neither; I may have to work. We'll have to see.
  24. Nice know it well, many a Putty run on my GSXR1000... This is the "Hunter Region" Rep; Even though Wickham is farkin' miles away... Still, they say they'll come to you. Strut Re-gas Hunter Arie Oosterveen Cnr Church & Foundry St Wickam NSW 2293 Ph: 02 4961 3255 Good luck, Dale.
