I'd love to see some DTM action out here; too bad we don't really have the money, or the audiences to support these amazing cars. I don't really like the idea of "silhouette" racing; which is what I'm assuming the COTF will be. Why put a badge on it at all if they're all going to be the same under the skin.

Nor do they produce a lame pushrod V8 to use in whatever car races. Are they going to have to build a dumbed down, pushrod engine like Toyota had to when they started competing in NASCAR/Truck racing, or will they have to use an existing smaller capacity engine, with a stupidly low rev limit or intake restrictors? That will ensure "Parity"

That HKS bracket is now worth huge dollars. Once you get on the dyno; I don't think they'll last long. Even if they don't melt, they'll go brittle and crack off in no time.

Also, if you don't have HICAS; you won't have LSD.

On the mountains, all the Unmarked cars seem to be VE SS Commodores, rather than XR's and AFAIK, HWP only use Typhoons. Also, I'm sure NSW Police vehicles have to be registered in NSW. Definitely wouldn't turn their lights off; they'd be in a world of trouble if a member of the public reported something like that. You'd have to ask Craig; he had them pre prepared when I arrived. It was just like a formula one pit stop; up, wheels off, rattle guns etc. But without the hot chicks in big sunnies, and small dresses. And more of me hitting myself in the mouth with a car wheel.

Generally got in the way while Craig fitted a nice new set of Pianos to my front end. Glad my car never went near snow; everything came apart easily, and the pianos went in with out a hitch. Also had a bit of a nibble on my wheel; yummy.
