  1. The Nismo front bar is 11ty billion times better looking than that abortion. Shame about the head in the car...
  2. Talk to Scotty about the radiator; he now uses an OEM style replacement (alloy core/plastic tank) uprated core that is much easier to fit than the off the shelf all alloy units.
  3. Scotty's cooling mod lowers temps across the board, and allows cooling system to rapidly drop temp after any kind of load related cooling temp increase. If you did nothing else to the cooling system; this mod would be the one I'd do first.
  4. Considering the J32 is FWD; I'd be willing to bet that it is.
  5. My engine temps did not change from running the stock tiny intercooler to running an HDi kit. Scotty's cooling mod, and a larger capacity radiator will improve the cooling system's ability to shed heat. IMO; the OEM (quite noisy I agree) is far superior to thermo fans for heat management. I've run a number of different setups using high capacity fans, and custom made shrouds to ensure efficiency, and nothing works better than the stock Clutch fan. I did notice an improvement in cooling system performance when I changed from the stock "smiley face" front bar to the Aero Kit front bar.
  6. Aero is the best solution on these by far; just buy it.
  7. Stolen from the Nissan Stagea Owners and Enthusiasts page; https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=10154142968513767&set=pcb.10153677308405897&type=3&theater
  8. Yes, any universal fan is fine. No tricks; just make sure it's turning the right way.
  9. Shoulda kept those seats from the 350Z mate; would've been perfect in there!
  10. Need the Nismo front bar; a bit of side ducting there...
  11. Scotty's one is a much better design with far less restriction; the divorced dump isn't an advantage in this application anyway.
  12. I want to see where this goes!
  13. It primes to pressurise the fuel rail prior to starting, then when you key the engine it comes on and stays on.
  14. Welcome Jason, looking forward to seeing what you do to yours. The deal is well & truly over now, but they sell on ebay all the time; Link to AM Performance dump pipe. http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/NISSAN-STAGEA-250T-RS4-M35-TURBO-DUMP-FRONT-PIPE-/331844419884?hash=item4d4378012c:g:-gEAAOSwQItUHUdn TBH; ScottyNM35 here on the forum makes a really nice dump pipe that will flow even better than this for far less money.
  15. That's right; lift the seat base, and access is on the driver's side.
  16. Some suspension specialist will do guard rolling; especially if they deal with a lot of performance cars.It might be worth seeking one local to you and seeing if they do, or of they have someone that they use.
  17. Wow. I guess history can be rewritten. I thought the victors were the one's whose version get told...
  18. Your sig doesn't indicate where you live; you might get a recommendation if people know where you come from.
  19. Roll the guard lips; that will get you the extra clearance you need.
  20. If it's a tidy car, use the noisy turbo as a bargaining tool, and budget for a replacement in the near future. They all fail eventually.
  21. I don't think he's meaning to sound ungrateful; people who don't know Scotty, won't realise what a wealth of knowledge he has, nor will they realise how keen he is to help other Stagea owners. (2) That's not true at all; my bush bearing turbo is not a dog to drive, and plenty of others are using bush cored highflows.
  22. Nothing wrong with asking questions; you'd be better to have a chat with Scottynm35. He has all the pieces of the puzzle that you need, and the new highflow that he and Rick have put together may just what you need.
  23. Good for you mate; glad to see the hard graft is paying off for you.
