  1. Oh dear; might be time to work some overtime...
  2. Whiteline sell service kits for all their swaybars; tell me what you want, I'll get them for you.
  3. I'd imagine the trim can be removed from the original bonnet; what holds it in place?
  4. Wow Theo, the duct is a lot deeper than it looked in your FB pics; that should pull a shedload of hot air out!
  5. Sounds like your luck is starting to change; good to hear!
  6. Lol, how did you know? It's all fitted, and I'm pretty sure it's leak free now. Entirely my own fault; I should've known better, I re-used the OEM clamps on the Bleed block. Rookie error. Ended up stripping right back to the valley, as I wasn't 100% sure I didn't have a leak on the bottom AN fitting. Ended up the coolant was sneaking down the inside of the Fireproof sleeve and pooling behind the plate in the valley. Hose was perfect length, and with a tiny amount of detergent and a cup of boiling water to soften the hose; went together without issue. EVERY SINGLE PHOTO I took has somehow been deleted from my camera, (4 year old camera aficionado to blame here), and I'm not pulling it down again. I haven't had a chance to drive it far yet, so I'm not sure of the improvement, but going by the slug of air trapped in the valley; it can't be worse.
  7. Guess I had that coming.
  8. Ok; she's yours. Now with added face mole!
  9. Sounds hawt! Which one of them had the community tooth that day?
  10. As much as it pains me; that's actually a very smart policy. At least there's logical reasoning at play in the decision making process; rather than the usual "Don't do it or we'll fine you" mentality we have in Australia...
  11. Shoot me your address mate; I'll post it tomorrow.
  12. +11ty billion! The sound of it zutututututututututututuing it's head off drove me mad in about a minute & a half when I was troubleshooting with it blocked off. And as Scotty says; the car feels like shit with it blocked off, to say nothing of the potential damage. I must be getting old; cos I would have sold my sould for that noise when I was 20. I've got a shim made up if you'd like me to post it out to you Rudi, then you can at least eliminate it as a potential fault.
  13. Why not try a more supportive seat first, there are plenty of options out there.
  14. I saw a QLD rego Landcruiser towing a trailer with LFA on the side this arvo; possibly the same car inside?
  15. White C34 with some signwriting on the windows getting off the M4 at Mulgoa rd. Gave a thumbs up as I continued my soggy ride up the mountain on the Gixxer.
  16. Weeeee; more Mountains Stageas!
  17. Have you thought about getting them to slot the rotors while they're there? Normally costs $50ish per rotor, if your rotors have plenty of meat it is a worthwhile exercise.
  18. Very neat on clearance there, but I' think you'll be impressed with the improvement!
  19. The encoders can fill up with oil if the seal on the drive leaks. This can cause the needle to jump around.
  20. Good luck mate; things seem to be progressing down the right path for you now!
  21. Scotty's coolant mod kit turned up today; just got to find some time to fit it. Great piece of engineering; you'd do well to grab one.
  22. I'm pretty sure you'll find the speed is determined by the REAR wheel sensors, so smaller fronts won't affect the reading. This is also why a diff ratio change doesn't affect speedo reading.
  23. After an unplug, & plug back in; mine appears to be doing it's job properly again. Wonder if it'll last.
  24. Nice work Alex, looking forward to seeing this develop.
