  2. Nothing beats new blades, So quite, No streaks, No mess. Cheap and under 10 min to install Though i have been looking for a good Glasswax like rainex ect. Can anyone comfirm if thats the sam stuff the race cars use when they have stripped all wipers and washer bottles?
  3. Why are you getting wheels engineered? If anything i though it was within 2" diamiter of stock size and that is OK. I can understand if you were tryign to put 22" rims on, But really, what needs to be engineered with 9" wide wheels. seems odd.

  7. how long have you ahve the -5s on and whats makes you want to change when you ahvent even had them tuned? E85, Solid internals that you have, -5's on 25+psi should net you well into the 400+ kw range. seeing as you have everything set up, get a tune done then see its real potiential before going the other route.
  8. stroker or 3L bottom end if i was going to spend that sort of money, Should really help with the before 5k issue aswell? Surely you could push 450kw out of your -5s, come on song a bit earlier, save a fair chunk of money aswell though if your heart is set on only what you want, Then id be taking 20 grand into one of the best workshops/tuners i could find and tell them exactally what youve said here. Job Done!!

  13. yep, offset is diff in the way they sit, I tired using my stock 25de pump ( same as gtst) when doing rb26 conversion and they didnet line up
  14. What does " Taking it easy" entitle on a gear box, does changing gear at 8k at normal pace mean easy, or keeping under a citiran load/rev limit. i mean, Not everyone has to slam the gear stick into gear as hard and fast as they can. you can still go fast and respect the car if you get my jist

I'd leave them on for sure, Let the RTA deal with it. bloddy useless bunch, Everytime i call a government body, Actaully anyone, I call 3 times minimum with the same question, You will find 90% of the time you get 3 diffrent answers and procedures to complete something. Call the RTA and tell them how you go about rego/ blue slip for a car thats had rego laspe and a engine conversion in the meantime. Now thats what i call confussing, especailly when they transfer you to the " tenchincal team" who i was told deal with engine conversions ect every day. They just read out a list of RTA approved mechanics sorry, RMS.......still a useless bunch

  18. if bedding in using old pads on the new rotors is 100% not possible due to a brake upgrade and machined rotors is the speed up and slow down X5 then cooling going to be fine? or is there something other that can be done I spose machined rotors arent exactally new,

End of the day it shoudlent matter what you drive, But thats just how the way it works. the worst thing people could do is stop buying the cars they want to drive just do they dont get pulled over or looked at as a "hoon" on the road, im all for breaking Stereotypes, and have done so on many occasions.
  21. That clown in Granville Failed my exhaust becasue the silencer was not welded in, Therefore not part of the exhaust and a hazard. Had to pay for that, then come back again after a shitty weld job and back to get tested again, He didnet check anything for tampering, I had the flanged closed ect ect
  22. i wish i kept mine regoed, really paying for it up the arese now, especailly with an engine conversion
  23. just get a trickel charger for $30 at auto barn/repco mate, if you have good tyers, Over enflate them so they dont get flat spots, Dont see a drive around the block doing much as it wouldent even give time for the brakes to heat up let alone anythign other, turn the ignition for 10 min once a week and you should be fine, Throw in a fresh batch of oil aswell before storing
