    Getting photo's of my setup will prove difficult as the motor is all pulled apart. There is no considerable amount of oil in the turbo outlet, elbow, or following cooler pipes, albeit a very fine layer of oil which was from before when the stock turbo spat the dummy. I reckon its just the oil in the filter thats been sucked in.

    haha sorry, correct. My knowledge of these things is still poor. Can blow-by come back out through the intake plenum, throttle body, intercooler and then turbo?

    Since i put this turbo on earlier this year it was just running stock turbo with pcv connected. Had recently installed a catch can, noticed there was some oil thats been sprayed around the the catch can hose joins and breather. The clamps werent loose either, the thing felt empty.

    I was thinking if excess blow-by could be the cause. Compression test prior to discovering this was between 130-117psi across all 6. The BOV doesnt fully open until it see's full boost (20psi), so it flutters like its blocked off most of the time. I bought the filter brand new only 3 months or so ago, havent cleaned it yet.

    There is just an elbow, tube and k&n pod infront of the thing, no fittings for the BOV or rockers. The turbo outlet and cooler pipes are pretty clean. Has anyone came across this before?

    So i heard that the 8.5mm 256 poncams might require some die grinding inside the head to clear the cam lobes? And possible noisy lifters with them in also. Can anyone who has them confirm?

    that KLS power spirit mob can go shove it up their ass. bought an oil cooler kit from them the other week. ive paid less for much higher quality things from china before, but this was just ghastly what they sent me. currently getting a refund. $1250 lol the cheeky bastards.

    This thread is slowly but surely changing my opinion on gtr wings on non-gtr's. I think i want one, but then it still leaves that big ugly gob on the front, so meh. I'll just leave it stock and ugly.

    looks about right.. if you start the pull in 3rd gear it might seem quicker

    go for a short drive without the filter on?

    just so you know, my actuator is touching the strut tower already and it could use 5mm atleast so it clears. so might need to look into moving the actuator in closer to the turbo if you were to move that flange out more. that would get rid of the spacer plate also would it? i think it was 15mm.
