    what are the manifolds made of Stao? and would it be worth having one for an ATR43G3 internal gate? i am still worried about all that extra heat being generated near ports 5 and 6. well, if these are cheap enough and use factory turbo positioning, i will probably buy one.

    Clutch in, so far so good. Its acting like a twin plate at the moment, cant take off without spinning the wheels lol. The pedal is lighter somehow than the old excedy cushion button, which is awsome since the NPC carbotic is a much tougher clutch. Only thing was the spigot bush that came with the NPC was 1mm thicker in ID so had to source another one.

    Yea i told the guy on the phone (Garreth i think it was) that i wanted something that would handle 300 odd rwkw, a little extra abuse than the usual HD clutch, and i didnt care about driveability. This was the one he recommended..

    Getting my NPC 10" carbotic clutch installed tomorrow. Will see how shit i am at launching it when the drags open up in a few months. Current excedy ceramic button lasted 2 years of every day driving, skidpan days, drag nights, clutch kicks, etc. This NPC one holds 450rwhp im told, so should keep me happy for a while!

    ah right. im still not fully clued up with how the game works.. are your camps permanently there, even when the server is empty? or only exist when you guys join the server? it would suck to join the game to find your camp destroyed or looted, lol. /noob

    damn, must have spent a bit of time acquiring all that stuff. whats this main base? a special hideout you have commandeered somewhere? i hate hackers as much as thieves, f**kers.

    i played it the other night and mine did the same thing. 40 odd fps then i realised after 40 minutes its doing like 10-15fps, Even on lowest video settings. Was getting mad tearing at one point aswell. Much more enjoyable playing with friends with mic's. Might try heading inland next time instead of following the coastal towns.

    I found without blocking off the joiner to the throttlebody, it wouldnt hold over 40-50kpa. dont forget to block off the vac line to the carbon cannister and the fat hose going from near the bov to the aac valve.

    Yeah i've got one of his ATR43G3's. 375rwhp on 21-20psi. Kicks in at 4200rpm so it is kind of laggy, but only compared to the measly little plastic/ceramic stock turbo If i were after 230rwkw i would be finding a blown rb25 turbo and getting it highflowed, completely bolt-on, and its the cheaper option.

    Have you checked out the Hypergear thread? He does highflows and brand new bolt on turbo's, cannot recommend his work enough. If you can get hold of an HKS turbo cheap enough, should get the job done. Just not sure whether or not it will bolt onto your stock exhaust manifold, inlet/outlet pipes, or dump pipe.

    is it the one where you wire a relay between the battery and the pump? there is a tutorial in the DIY section for that one.

    ah so you just replace the entire friction plate? i thought i heard people sending the things away to get all of the pucks replaced or something. not fussed if i need to replace the whole plate, would be faster.

    sorry to thread dig, didnt want to start a new one. does anyone know where in perth i can take my exedy ceramic HD clutch to to get reconditioned? can i source the part(s) elsewhere then get a workshop to fit them, or will i have to send my clutch to a specialist to replace the pucks? thanks.

    How are the ported manifolds going for you guys? I've got a stock rb25 exhaust manifold sitting in the shed and a die grinder. Going to give it a crack sometime soon. Would wrapping the thing in exhaust heat wrap do any good?

    Has anyone else used one of these actuators? Do they work well? I wonder if i could get it to fit on my hypergear turbo.
