    Was always wondering where the best place is to source parts if i go down that path . Brakes rotors and clutches are ridiculously expensive to replace . Also unfortunately private BMW mechanics take the piss as well with repairs , realised this from owning an old Porsche .

    I am currently interested in buying a E60 , can someone advise on reliability , performance and maintenance . I have done a fair bit of research and always looking for more info from an actual owner . To buy one they are basically the same price as an R34 GTR . :

    275s fit nicely as well . i wouldn't get RS3s unless your going to the track , will be annoying on the street with any semi slick .

    Is there still a law in Japan , the car must be sold off or destroyed at 60k , is that why some cars might be turned back ? 68k is the magic wind back number .

    Cheap looking wheels look like a cheap suit , doesn't really matter which XXR rim you buy , you can't hide it . Just buy some stockies again

    Yes forklifts smash the chassis rail like pancakes , then car is worthless , i also had seats , steering wheels , gear knobs and floor mats all swapped over for hacked up ones during storage/shipping .

    The best suggestion is used BMW 130i or 135i twin turbo if you can afford it , the 130i are a crazy rear wheel drive rocket . Forget the 86 its a 4 banger and will never be the same as a six .
