  1. Not 100% sure to be honest on a 4-door. Id imagine not in the instance of a collision blocking access. Best to call an VASS engineer however to find out
  2. -10s are the same as GT-RS's - 450rwkw+ If 2530's will make 400-420rwkw, and the GT-RS are bigger again... Then pretty easy to set expectation when there are a few RS results making some BIG numbers in the dyno threads. 4" CAT will be a restriction on a turbo setup that large. Have a look @ any CAT, it can't NOT be a restriction and hence if you wish to run one you'll need a larger one for good performance. Realistically though, for best performance with those turbos, only option is a 4" straight pipe - no CAT. Remember RS's are internally gated so you need a lot of flow. Realistically RS's are not really a great turbo anyway (hoping to see Piggaz comparo soon of -10s vs -5s).. That will hold a very interesting story. Same as Gav from WA, he picked up something like 1200rpm extra response doing the same step back in turbo size... Such a boost in the mid range is just insane for a street car
  3. Willing to take that risk with your motor dude? Simon knows it will die, infact I'm sure he's even said himself he is surprised its still together - impressive as it may be (and indeed it is impressive, taking nothing away from it), longevity is important to some people and not talking 2 years. Some people want motors to last 4yrs+ Have a look @ some of the RB25s that are starting to pop now @ 300-320rwkw or so. They've been fine for 2-3 years - some are STILL fine... Yet some are giving up the ghost. It's that "some" that is always the ole gamble. There is no hard and fast rule unfortunately. The only 'rule' so to speak that really exists is this: If you cannot afford the rebuild or replacement motor - Don't chase the power.
  4. Yes... I know 100% that if it does not recline, it is illegal unless the car is engineered and re-registered as a 2-seater (ie rear seats/seatbelts removed etc) Reason: In an impact, occupants cannot escape with a seat that doesnt recline. As for recline - not sure. They "should" be legal however there might be some ADR that states "how much" is required. Most of the time you'll get away with that though as Officers wouldn't be aware of it long as it folds
  5. Eggsacary! I believe it depends on if you can buy em new from Nissan or not... Of which who knows. It's funny with Nissan what they still make, and what they do not. Some of it defies logic. Nice little upgrade for EVO4 owners though, EVO9 turbo is a nice step up.
  6. Please read forum rules before excessive 'bumping'. Your thread will be locked if it continues.
  7. +1 to the above. 300-320rwkw would be a nice safe limit. You'll make that power on around 18psi or there abouts.
  8. Have you posted for your QLD people Noel? Oh... and didn't you own a Torana at one point?
  9. Everyone would love just Nissan, but if numbers are a problem it might not be. Entries will get checked so no 100rwkw V8 with dropped exhaust style stuff. I know some guys with some serious blown v8 burnout cars so might be able to get them along, they would provide some awesome viewing. Also know a few guys who'd love up fly a Nissan flag too so it would be fairly sweet.
  10. still butting heads with insurance over burnout comp. CFA & Council have approved so at least that's something. Still a 50/50 at this stage as if its too costly it won't happen to keep the event cheap as possible.
  11. -10 are 450rwkw+ So yes, 4 inch is needed with large front pipes too. Also a 4 inch cat will be causing restriction also.
  12. or you could just look in the Vic members area
  13. Not everyone posts up what they get upto, you should know that.
  14. Nothing that most other places haven't already done
  15. If your forum email is current/active - then it is in your inbox or check the spam folder (it definitely sent to you, ive checked) Link is not going public for a week to give club members a chance to sort things out first
  16. Please read the GB rules and try again.
  17. Prices or lock.
  18. Sweet. I got two I know why though. Some people might have received two also, but not many. Apologies if you did, can't be avoided due to how IPB is configured with the email function.
  19. Right emails being pumped out now - lemme know if you are getting them Will take 10-15mins for them all to be sent, so bare with the ole forum, don't wanna break it
  20. The same as all the others. Please read the RB25 Dyno sticky.
  21. just save it in MS Paint and then "save as", select PNG, then just attach to this thread. Block out any personal info though
  22. Screen dumps please. Both of settings, and of the actual PM string (just blank out important parts) It's working fine for me, and my test accounts. It could just be a setting you've not updated?
  23. Website link will be sent to SA, VIC, WA shortly... Probably an hour. Final touches being made.
