  1. Quite the opposite, not sure how you came to that conclusion. Have a look in the For Sale section. On any given day there are probably 3-4 up for grabs for around $300 AUD (R33 item), $400 AUD (R34 item). Add what, $100-$150 for O/S shipping and it's the cheapest solution you have available. Someone will ship one for you id imagine.

  3. Nothing wrong with centrifugal blowers. Friend i have has one in a Camaro that drives to the track, runs 9s, drives home on the same tyres. 1000rwhp of no problem!

  8. I don't even think it's 100cc, more like ~65-70 Either way not noticeable, for the street - VCT. Hence you see a few NEO/26's getting around now. 25 NEO heads on built 26 bottom ends. Its to get the VCT, kinda like poor mans V-CAM. Much cheaper but less options which for the cost isn't too bad. Depends overall what you want of course, if you are talking stock motors I'd get a NEO for a conversion personally if budget is a consideration. You'll get a pretty good setup and only have to change on turbo - bolt on etc.

  10. Problem is 1. Car is still illegal, its build plated as turbo 2. The lower compression turbo motor, that is now a N/A, will be even more of a slug than the normal N/A The amount it'll cost you to rip all the turbo gear off, and put N/A stuff on... Will never be seen/returned via fuel economy or whatever. It'll take you 5-10 years to recoup the 4 figures such a conversion would cost And then you have a car thats worth even less - and have to convert back to sell

  13. Ok, near enough. Either way I'm out, same with all my mates. We were discussing it today & too much effort just for 6 runs. We'd rather pay double and have more runs if we are going to travel 6-7hrs for something like this, and make a solid go if it etc. Good luck with the event.
  14. ^ Indeed not going to be responsive for circuit with a GT42 in a 2.6ltr. Be fine for drags though. Sorta can't really have both with a turbo that large so might as well bite the bullet and just set it up for drags specifically and put bigger cams etc as you realistically can't set it up for both and then as a result there is dual compromise rather than one.

  20. 370rwkw, PFC, stock cams and NO O2 sensor. Strictly off the tune. 650-700km on the Freeway 250-450km around town. Depends on right foot as once on boost, its destroys fuel.

  23. PCCG generally cost a little more than MSY If you want to wait in a line (rather than online order), you can save yourself at least $100 if not more. Depends on the parts you want as MSY dont stock a wide range, just a lot of the similar.
