  2. Date: Thurs 20/01/2011 Game: CS:S Time: 8:30pm DST Server Details: IP: 203.26.94.214:27015 PASS: SAU It will be on an Internode server (games.on.net) but there are a few things i need to let you all know. There is an automatic ban bot in place on these servers so if you come into the server with a swear word in your name you will be banned. If you mention any pornographic/shock/hack websites while on the servers you will be banned. I will not be removing these if you get banned so please don't ask. Any other questions feel free to ask.
  3. You cannot take the turbo off a skyline, and expect it to be legal. The authorities might be stupid, but they are not that stupid. It is still illegal. Please use the search function. It's been covered before. Just buy a N/A.
  4. IMO it's a lot of money for not a lot of gain. The only real place to spend money is on a bigger turbo and chase more power. "Roy (troy)" put in some cams into his TD06/RB20 set up, and lost response, which i guess is the issue with most RB20's. He went back to factory cams.
  5. It's definately a HR31 RB20 NICS Red top head. No doubt about it. Not R32. As for it being a 3ltr. Look @ the block number. Either way a LOT of dicking around to get that kinda setup to work - as frankly, it doesn't without some serious time/effort and even then the results are poor as the head simply does not flow.
  6. no, you need a dump pipe. otherwise how do you intend to connect it to the front pipe?
  7. clutch will be an issue, also potentially coil packs that are 15yrs old. and just because both might be fine initially, budget for them to fail in less than 12 months so that's another 2000 easily. so obviously forget the plenum, you have other expenses to worry about yet. other things like brakes and tyres cause extra power means harder on those two areas which are probably gonna be another 2k in the next 12 months or so. plus servicing you also make no mention of a dump pipe either.
  8. yes, that is one of the known issues logged 6-7 posts up.
  9. Yep, more the merrier - its how we roll! Everyone welcome
  10. They were kinda covered on page 4?
  11. Scalp tickets here again - you will be banned.
  12. Ah ok cool - I thought you'd taken them out. Will adjust
  13. My GT30, with restrictor, had more oil than that coming out @ idle.
  14. Was the crack on the top or the bottom? I'm guessing the bottom side?
  15. Actually given you couldn't provide pricing - I'd say that it was you who didn't understand the concept. Follow the rules next time or your threads will be locked.
  16. Ah no, Seq boxes are expensive, just how it is. Ye it only does so much as its predominately down to the driver controlling it. When I was racing @ Calder regularly I could manage 1.9-2.0 60ft's with 225 street tyres on there. It's not just a case of the tree goes green and you plan the foot to the floor. Either that or get a better set-up that will stage/control boost and feed it in. Also a short shifter I found, made my shifts slower.
  17. Please use the search function. This has been covered many, many times. Thanks.
  18. A true sequential gearbox is 5 figures, bit ridiculous for a street car. Stock gearboxes are more than adequate for the power you are making, so unless you have 15k or so to burn, there really isn't much point especially considering you still need to use the clutch.
  19. Thanks for your thread. Please use the search function. Starting with the FI Guide, and "what mods to do first", great place to start. Also have a look @ the RB25 dyno results thread for something that tickles your fancy, and you'll soon be able to workout what the turbo (and associated supporting mods), costs.
  20. How long is a piece of string? There is no set figure, same as a stock motor being modified. If you don't want it to break, be nice to it but don't expect it to last forever. It's almost a 20yo gearbox, unknown condition etc etc. Seen plenty die in the 300-400rwkw region, usually stripping 3rd
  21. pretty certain its not a GTR. Used to see it often when i lived out that way, always needed a wash too
  22. ye they do the same thing here, agree to "ship" the car to you using a escrow money service etc etc. Just dodgy :|
  23. Did you read before posting?
  24. People pay online for $2000-$3000 parts and get scammed, so it wouldn't surprise me in the slightest
