  1. Good enough for a stock-ish setup upto 280rwkw
  2. can you please explain in detail what you mean? i don't get it.
  3. Sorry but thats just rubbish, it's age. Not how hard it gets driven.
  4. yes, its noted down on page 19 in the summary of issues
  5. Ok off to the handling area then Far better responses in there
  6. Amateur drifitng isn't a 100% flat out 20min spirint either, so lets keep some perspective here We've been over your pricing before - $1100 is a fken cheap price for Brembo's, and you know this. Just have a look in the FS section when they come up. Usually not below $1000 just for the fronts (used rotor/pad), a full set is easily $1500 if not more. Some people get $2000!!!! It's just ridiculous.
  7. Pretty sure you have expired... But yes, [email protected] if you wish to renew.
  8. So you are getting them for $300 then? Because they are grossly overpriced for what you get. I've never said they were bad performance wise. They are bad on a cost vs performance scale of the highest order. With a remount of the Sumitomo caliper you can get a larger rotor and pad under it no problem if you really want. Even without that - They are fine in my GTSR with 280rwkw, i can go on a heavy 15min mountain run and never have a problem with Ferodo 2500's. If they aint failing in that situation, IMO that's a winner for a setup that cost less than $800 For the rough price of GTR Brembo's - You are better off jumping onboard the Wilwood Group buy: http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/topic/350163-wilwood-big-front-brake-kit-group-buy/ People try sell USED condition Brembo's with pads/rotors for around $1500. For an extra $300 you are pissing all over that with brand new everything.
  9. We took measures against this month ago.
  10. Also where does the 2.5" start? If it's a 2.5" dump, and then 3" after the cat - then dropping it wont show much until you actually replace it
  11. That often doesn't work, or give you a good idea. Cause it's louder, you've made a change - often a bit of placebo kicks in. Hence on the same dyno/tuner etc, you'll soon see whats going on. That turbo is good for 260-280rwkw, and should be up around 112-114mph once you get that power. I was racing regularly years ago with 220rwkw and I was running 12.9 @ 109mph consistently.
  12. I just have varying browsers @ work on various PC's for testing stuff, and I use them to surf SAU as well to test this kinda stuff. Basically my work is so badly firewall'd/equipped internet wise if the site is remotely showing signs of being slow then it'll time out. The old forum used to hang quite regularly, since the upgrade it's honestly been very fast. Perhaps flush all your cookies, temp file etc. Reboot router disable any firefox add-ons Then have a go. You might find it comes good.
  13. What will go pop? The motor? Mate - get the exhaust fixed. Drive sedately to tuners (or have them do the work on-site if possible), run it up and have a look. There is no way around this. Your motor will simply not just up and die from an exhaust change, however the tune MUST be looked at with such a restrictive exhaust. You will hit load points that you weren't previously. Also that tune, is honestly looking pretty average. The curve should be much smoother. Is the right axis is toruqe, then its 100% a poor tune as its dropping around 104-120, but then that could also be the exhaust. Overall moral of this story? Get the exhaust fixed, and get the tuner to have another look at it all.
  14. So why are you using the pictures from this thread? Do you even have pictures of the ones you own? http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/topic/337282-tein-ra-coilovers/
  15. There are no AFR's on that sheet. It might affect the tune - either way mate you with such a restriction, attention to the tune is a given.
  16. I've been using the Cyantic in the latest Firefox. IE 6/7/8/9 Opera It's certainly not slow for me. Fast as the standard skin. Perhaps an add-on is causing issues
  17. 2.5" exhaust - your issue is staring you in the face. 3" or bust at a minimum. Also 230rwkw/109mph, is pretty close. So it's not down on power, its just restricted to the heavens. You'll probably get 20-30rwkw out of an exhaust change easily.
  18. Logically - at the present time - No. E85 availability is still problematic, especially in Vic and other states. I mean yes you have one around the corner so to speak, but going on a reasonable 3hr spirited drive and having to take 2 jerry cans is the pits! It would be viable in a few months as its slowly appearing more and more, so mid year would be a better time IMO to be looking down that path. Will also allow you time to shop around and get a good price on injectors as a few people seem to be upgrading of late Not sure where you read all the other stuff about melting fuel lines... I don't recall such rubbish being posted here
  19. GTR Brembo's are honestly a waste of money dude. They are so overly inflated it's not funny. If you just put a set of R33 GTS-t brakes on they will work out massively cheaper and offer pretty much the same performance.
  20. You think posting about it twice in a day is magically going to get it fixed? There is a whole list of issues on PG 19 - Next time i do an update i will put this on, but don't expect it fixed tomorrow or anything. Reality is it could be weeks.
  21. Dont install a Nismo thermo - that won't fix the issue. The issue will be the radiator and cooling system needs a GOOD flush. After you have flushed it a few times very intensively, distilled water + coolant. Don't use tap water It should be fine then.
  22. lol i meant on the dyno
  23. Just drop the exhaust from before the CAT for the time being - see what gains you get first up
  24. So are you actually after performance? sounds like just cosmetic or handling... if so let me know and ill move to the correct area
