  1. DW guys - he is only on a 7 day holiday, I'm sure he will return with more vigor in his fingers
  2. I would suspect that voice is real, absolute homo
  3. There is also on/off throttle to contend with. Not only is a larger housing more "dull", it's also going to be slower in/out of gears to rebuild boost and so on. Also making it easier to bring back up onto boost and just feather it. Given Hamish's use of car, the smaller housing is certainly more suited
  4. Yer I sucked big time last night. I was 3/4 drunk, ended up falling asleep about 11pm - was a tough day I kept going AFK for beer/dunny stops lol
  5. Agreed. Unless you paid the loan out in around 2-3 years, there is no was on a 25k loan, that the interest is only 3k.
  6. Im 50/50 if i'll go i really cant afford to break a car lol
  7. Most likely. Can't have 400 people rocking up.
  8. Enjoy your holiday. Good thing, you can still use the search even if you are suspended. Will give much needed time to have a good practice at it.
  9. Of course he hasn't. Otherwise he would have found a dozen threads on the topic and the fact that they work and offer more benefit than they take away. plan-b - Last time i tell you to use the search.
  10. Guys - some feedback needed http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/topic/351172-detailing-clinic-what-would-you-like-to-see/ SAU-Vic will be having a night/day with these guys soon. So stick some feedback in there for them to give an idea, it'll be in feb or march once i get it organised
  11. Your mechanic is correct. A kit from someone like JJR or similar will be cheaper & easier to install... It will also perform about the same unless you have a 350rwkw+ setup.
  12. To give you an idea of expected output
  13. Oh dude for crying out loud. Some reading before posting helps! Every setup is different Every dyno is different Every tune is different Every persons location is different (and this climate can be a factor in tunes) You want any more possibilities? Dyno results are a good guide, but to split hairs over 8rwkw is pointless. If the dyno he is on, reads 10rwkw low, and yours reads 10rwkw high, then all of a sudden its 28rwkw. You'll NEVER KNOW.
  14. The limiting factor with power on any car is basically the turbo. Remap vs PFC = no tangible difference. With that turbo, there are plenty of results in the RB20 dyno sticky, please read it.
  15. I've done both. Having rebuilt my GTS-R from the ground up, gone through two big motor builds as well To buying a full built GTR... There are pro's and con's for both things, however the GTS-R spent so much time off the road and i was constantly changing things... It's about what gives you satisfaction - and satisfaction for me is driving. Hence the GTR for me, has been a much better path. I knew the effort/trouble the previous owner went to get it to the stage it is, and im glad in many ways i didnt have to do it a 3rd time.
  16. Stiff shit. Look or forget it.
  17. Great night guys! I think we had 12-14 people in the end once everyone updated and so forth. Look forward to the next one. Give me feedback good/bad etc. -Ash
  18. query answered - closed
  19. Paul - 4" mate for 400rwkw. 3.5" for 350 and 3" for 300 See a theme? Stock is the common choice
  20. Thread closed. Believe it or not, but since SAU started more than 7 years ago, this topic has been discussed before. Please use the search function in future. It may be found here: http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/index.php?app=core&module=search&search_in=forums While we understand that it can be frustrating to have your thread closed - Please consider that other members may feel it to be disrespectful and selfish of you to post a simple question, without using the search feature to review the wealth of information provided by said members over the years. If you still feel that this action is unjust, then please PM me and we can discuss it further.
  21. That's called being dodgy. No topics or posts get removed. Admin.

  24. My steam updated earlier today @ 1.4mb. CS:S has had a few updates recently, mostly small patches, hence your issue.
  25. There is a bit of level config/swapping going on. If you cannot connect right away, just wait 1min and try again.
