R31Nismoid

So was my 3" exhaust @ 270rwkw/17psi when it was showing an issue/restriction. Drop in race fuel (sunoco 104) and all of a sudden we were @ 370rwkw/24psi with the same exhaust. We could use more timing and boost everywhere. Just goes to show it's not just about the gas Obviously exhaust and manifold are not the same particular part, but similar issue none the less. I've seen another car with GT-SS's do the same thing PULP vs Race fuel and a 3" exhaust

well that's hardly comparable. E85 changes the rules somewhat similar to race grade fuels. You often can make 30-40rwkw extra with the restriction in place. You result would be close to 300 when you take 40 off for E85, and then 20 for hubs. You'd hardly then be running 27psi without the fuel too

Whats your exhaust like - seems that the weight/heat combo has caused a crack. Very rare to see a manifold crack like that. Ensure you change all the manifold studs as well. Likely 2-3 will break when taking the manifold off anyway

Cubes and a few others did back to back - just manifold. There was like 20rwkw in it.

you won't make 350rwkw with that turbo. and that turbo won't max the stock manifold

The Nitto pump is not of the same design as the Tomei. How can it be as good? Tomei is the best on the market, period. It adpots the different ring gear setup, similar to that of the Supra.

If you've read the dyno thread then surely you already know you need a GT3076 right? And that factory cams will be fine? RB25/300rwkw has been covered to death mate. Please use the search, there are plenty of results in the RB25 dyno thread, and then in the pages of this forum is you simply put "3076" into the search.

You could tell them you don't want rods. They aren't needed, everyone knows that. Also remember the HKS oil pump eats up another $1000, and a $700 head gasket? Even the hose kit - its thats cooler piping/hose, then stock is also fine there too. Personally i'd choose a Tomei if you are going an after market pump in that form, they are better. But yes, I agree - 16k is not exactly cheap when you look @ what Lewis are offering price/parts wise.

Ye stock manifolds have made over 400rwkw on a number of cars, they certainly are not the issue.

Ah fark... not my sizes... If you CBF'd... gimme the measurement across the chest. Jap sizing a "L" or "XL" might actually be ok for me.
